I have remained a faithful Newsboys fan since I was 6-years old. Now I'm 17. I love the Newsboys with John James. I love the Newsboys with Peter Furler. I even love the Newsboys with Michael Tait. Lost the Plot remains one of my favorite songs of all time. I love the message behind these poetic lyrics.
This has to be my favorite Newsboys song. It really digs deep. I love the way it starts out slow and then really gets kicking. I mean the words just get me at my core especially now with the way the world has become. It's sooooo easy to get sucked into it all.
there is some serious truth in this song. And thank you for posting it, It is one I love but haven't been able to find for a while and it is not one of the more popular songs.
A very true song. We really have "lost the plot" None of us are perfect, nor will we ever be. But Jesus is! Can't wait till he comes back again-but more time is needed because so many are yet to know & accept him. I always want to cry when it gets to 3:02 on......very impactful.
What a powerful song. It's amazing that Shine, for all its quirkiness and catchiness, got played to death on the radio, but you'll never hear this one ever. Easily one of my all-time favorite Newsboys songs.
Still one of my favorite Newsboys songs, and one I can't believe they don't still play...the other's Elle G., of course, but that's another album. Peace, JT
@URProductions Maybe you have given up on God But I know that he hasnt given up on you.... Im sure that you will come back to Christ ant that day the Heavens will Rejoice.... Till then I'll keep you in prayer
does anybody else thinks this sounds almost EXACTLY like a Led Zeppelin sounding song? save for the glorification of God instead of fervent devil worship in the lyrics
@URProductions Perhaps you deny God and have given up on him but I can tell you that he hasn't given up on you... I'm sure you'll come back to Christ and that day the heavens will rejoice but as for now I'll keep you in prayer.
this song changed my life a few years ago... thank you... and thank The Lord
