In the future I want to work on my own stuff with the colony acting as a side project I can work on in parallel.
Everyone started from something. In my (-6) eyes your vids are already exellent amd unique, there's no over-the-top uplift voice, that often able to overwhelm with it's tempo, and instead you've got calm voice, that works so well with music and theme of this series
Oh i love when people actuallu show how they are planning the towns. I get so irritated when someone starts putting things down without even thinking what to do first. Their towns die so fast

I feel like at this point in time, it would be good to add a temperature mod. You have ways of easily heating yourself but would still have to be careful when building new things As someone else suggested, in your towns you could build huge generators and such for a Frostpunk theme Currently the eternal winter is only slightly annoying, just requiring you to shovel the train tracks I’m loving watching your channel and this series grow 👍 Edit: As I rewatched this series it noticing you hit 10k subs, congrats man!!!

The frozen throne just casually standing in the background at 4:07 gave me a chuckle. A lot of lore opportunities for your colony there being in the shadow of [the lich][Undead tyrant][et cetera]. :D It's a pity Minecolonies doesn't have raids of the undead.
this lil series is so chill, i've been watching these create ones but this is one of the few i've seen that focuses on one objective at a time without feeling like a frenetic speedrun of a thousand different objectives that have to fit in a single video, it's like a mix between the aesthetic and complex modded and create videos and flowstate's chiller gameplay videos. Keep it up!

Yeah I kinda hate when RUclipsrs do the "RUclipsr" voice. Just yelling all the time, and talking really fast so the little kids and people with no attention spans don't click off. Maybe the RUclipsr voice works on kids but it has the opposite effect for me. If I ever click on a video and I'm immediately greeted with, "YO, WHAT'S UP FAM! IN TODAY'S VIDEO I DID THE MOST INSANE THING, THAT IS SO CRAZY IT'LL BLOW YOUR DAD!" It immediately kills the interest I had in watching. A lot of the time I'll just click off immediately because it's just annoying. I much prefer RUclipsrs that just talk like a normal person.
The music here is soothing, and matches the gameplay. When I want some very calming second monitor content, you're going to be my new go-to. Thank you!
Genuinly a great minecraft video. The short and understandable summaries of your future or present actions are excellent. The preparations are also amazing.
I once decided to make a Hilltop on a hardcore Modded World (mainly to have Warrior Villagers, Miners and more Traders) but I decided to do it in 2 Sections; The Surface Village and the Underground Village. The Village would focus on Mining and extracting resources from the Caves, we were doing very well since we reached about 9 to 15 Chuncks deep but a Nehemoth appeared and completely destroyed the Underground Village. Someday I will rebuild it but better prepared.

Those flowers you could probably grab from a wandering trader. What you have to worry about is getting the blocks from the Nether, Ocean, and End to upgrade Tiers 3-5 on some of them. Beautiful start though.

This is one of my favorite minecraft series' I've ever watched. Your editing is cinematic, but you still manage to keep the feel of watching a player like, actually play the game. so many modern minecraft lets plays feel just like montages of stuff the player did without getting to see any of it. you strike a good balance imo. You also sell the atmosphere of this modpack incredibly well. Through your editing, cinematic shots, your music choice, and your voice, it's exquisite btw, have you tried out distant horizons with this pack? I would also highly recommend trying out the Rethinking Voxels shaders. It's based on Complimentary, but it adds harsh shadows from all light sources. It completely changes the character and feel of detailed interior spaces, I think it would look fantastic in your buildings
Thanks, I try to put a lot of work into the videos for this! I have tried and used distance horizions with this pack. Don't currently use it since I don't have a need to see far. As for shaders, currently stuck with complimentary as it has a setting "Snowy World" that is fairly important to the atmosphere for this world
hi i didnt watch the last episodes so idk if you had access to birch or oak saplings but if you plant any of those with a flower on the side when it grows it has a chance of having a beehive with two bees in it

Love the mod pack man, been playing it for the last couple days. I love how it uses the create mod to encourage you to build transport infrastructure to make getting around the world easier. Reminds me of Death Stranding lol. Everything being snow does make you have to think harder as the ways I'd been getting things in Minecraft for years suddenly don't work due to only snowy biomes, so I have to get creative and that's really fun. The videos are good they are 15 minutes but fly by, very well paced. I'm glad you don't go over the top like other MC-tubers do. I like the long sped up shots you do of the world, very cinematic. Keep it up brother 👍 Also Ultra-wide gaming supremacy 🗣️
I remember playing it with mods back in 2022, I genocided dragons from ice and fire mod to arm every guards with fully enchanted dragonsteel gear. 1 guard massacre almost entire raid.
I enjoyed this because it was the first time ive seen how the colonies mod works. Im a little bummed that the player doesnt get to design the buildings themself, but it makes sense.
As default you do get to choose between 15 or something different styles with a few mod addons that add more. However if you really wanted to you could make your own its just tedious to do so and make a variant for all tiers of every building

On the downloadable mod pack I do have a temperature mod but I prefer not to play with it as I find they are only interesting when starting a world. survival mods get very tedious after that to deal with constantly
