We loved exploring the Westfjords and how remote it felt! Would you travel off the ring road to see some of the incredible attractions here or would you prefer to stick to the ring road?
@@ChrisandNicole Sadly, no. One of my favorite poems as a child was about a puffin bird and I love seeing pics. One day, hopefully I'll get to see some for real!
Thank you so much!! The Puffins were sooo cool to see! Definitely the best spot we saw them all throughout the entire trip and there are easily hundreds of them! Have you ever seen a puffin before?! The midnight sun is definitely such an incredible experience this is the second time we've seen it and makes for a great way to adventure all day long but throws off your eating schedule a bit aha!
That’s the beauty of the midnight sun! We explored 14-16 hour very full days. We know we wouldn’t see everything but anything is better than nothing :)
@@ChrisandNicole Definitely, and doing it early/late like you did is ideal. Its the scale of the beauty that we loved, that you turn a corner and go wow! every time.
@@ranjitchagar7816 yes absolutely! It was absolutely breathtaking hands down our favourite spot in Iceland! We would go back and spend more time exploring there for sure!

I have been to westfjords..spent 2 days their ....i recommend to spend atleast 4 days to properly explore the region ...it's so beautiful 😍

We have a camper van with us the entire trip! We rented it from cozy campers :)
