steve , the z800 will never disappoint you. its a gem of a machine , have been riding one for a year now and absolutely love it .. great choice mate 😆 and that whining sound is just ur fuel tank venting out the built up pressure i guess.

The fuel tank, that's the culprit.. thanks for the info Ivan. So far I am loving the Z800, amazing that Kawasaki dropped this model.

That sound is nomal. Its gas tank venting. All newer model bikes make that noise after a ride for few minutes. Noise is related to emission stuff on gas tanks. Btw beautiful bike.

@@cabralad did you in the end? I'm potentially picking up a sugomi edition of the z800 tomorrow. It's done 18,500 miles. Still on the fence about it

@@jakemills7612 No, I was offered half what I paid for it as a trade in & it's a hard bike to sell, still trying to sell it. I will eventually trade it and cop a big loss😒

@@cabralad that’s a bloody bummer mate, discontinued vehicles are always a pain to resell. I’d be picking mine up for £5300 but paying a bit more as it’ll be on finance for a few years. Wonder how much I’d sell it for in 3 - 4 years time myself 😬

@@jakemills7612 it's a great handling bike and the best looking naked, great for customisation 👍
