We always love a good split-screen co-op game, and these guys make some of the best. After having so much fun with It Takes Two, we knew we couldn't go wrong with playing Hazelight's other titles. This time around we're a couple of jewel thieves, but instead of breaking in we're breaking out on Date Night.

I can SO relate to this statement. My buddy and I used to play console games together all the time when we lived together (many years and one marriage ago), and while we each had our strengths and weaknesses in games, I was always the superior button-masher. He'd absolutely destroy me in fighting games, I'd destroy him in strategy games, and good times were had by all. But when it came to quick-time events that required competitive button-mashing, he'd always yell, "Oh no... NO!" and frantically starting pounding away at the controller, and I'd start cackling madly. It was his Achilles' heel in games. :)
If you're comfortable with it, you guys should totally do livestream events. I can just picture a million of us watching you guys get confused by each other's methods lol

I loved this experience. As well as It Takes Two. The reference to A Way Out in the bedroom made me and the other player, the person who I played this game to 100% completion with, both audibly gasped at seeing Vincent and Leo.
the dialogue on if the sandy shores are anything like peach beach was one of the funniest banters I've laughed at in a good bit. That was hilarious to me xD
nevermind, 12:22 equally got me side-splitting in laughter at the perfect timing of that.

Just had an idea. You guys should play Chicory: A Colorful Tale. It's an adventure game with a sweet story, a cute art style, a very cute world, a truckload of puzzles and the main mechanic of the game is that you *paint the world however you please!* And mean, THE WHOLE WORLD!
You also unlock a bunch of new hats and outfits throughout the game, plus you later unlock decorations for your house, and later, to just put around the world!
I know how it feels to fall asleep during a very important part of the game lmao. Amazing job you both!!!!

Amazing as always, a lot of really nice wordplay in this video! Also, did not expect Taryn to be the snipe queen. Makes me think how you 2 would handle either black ops zombies or zombie army, so I guess those are the recommendations for today. I can't comment on which zombie army have you should get, but I would definitely recommend black ops 3, it's modding and wacky shenanigans potential is unrivaled.

Haha! that button mashing at the end, oh God, my brother and I spent 10 minutes mashing no stop... 10 freaking minutes, doing nothing else but pressing X... truly an immersive and powerful game 10/10.
How is Taryn so cracked at sniping? It'd be neat to see her play Sniper Elite if she hasn't already because whew, those were some good shots!

I played this game through with my twin brother, and it was SO BONDING! Fun fact, the creator of this game specializes in multiplayer-exclusive games. The studio is behind It Takes Two and Brothers (both phenomenal multiplayer games)- totally recommend, and thank you both for such fun content! 🥳

I really like how she calls QTEs (Quick Time Events) Quick scenes. Cause she's not wrong. If you don't react fast enough you get negative effects or even a game over.
You two should try a hat in time. It's a really indie good game (in my opinion), it's main focus is single player and there's not much co-op but you can still play the game. And the dlcs are worth the price. +cute seals and cats in said dlcs

I am a Pc player and my boyfriend is a PSN player so we play a lot of games together but we usually just pass the controller around every time the other one dies and such. So for Christmas I got him another controller and a bunch of split screen co op games and this is the one we've first played together and it is so much fun. I wish they did more local coop games because it's so much more fun than just playing a single player in turns.
If you are up to it, I would recommend you two check out a game 'Rain World'.
You play as a small creature trying to survive in a harsh world, and I think you would enjoy it as it has a CO-OP mode.
However the game is hard and unforgiving, and dying is very much a part of the learning experience. Your survival depends on how much you know about the world.
That said, I guarantee that playing this game is an _adventure_ no matter how far you get.
Great video. By the way I think you two would get a kick of of the game Little Big Planet and its sequel, both are great multi-player games that let you do some wacky stuff.
