Not so long ago the two of us were recommended this incredibly cute co-op game about penguins. What we didn't realize when we sat down to play was that this was less of a game and more of a torture device. Being tied together will seriously test your relationship, and I'm not sure the two of us will ever be the same again. If you're curious what I mean then just watch and see what happened when we invited Bread and Fred in for Date Night.

As a game designer, this game has an extremely interesting concept. Hats off to whoever came up with the idea of two penguins tied to each other.
Look up the game Chariot from 2014 it's kinda like that but in that you gotta pull the king around in a chariot with your coop partner and you use the chariot to solve puzzles that's the thing I thought of instantly after seeing this.
It's kinda like when Knack came out it reminded me of the game Adventures of Pip from 2015 where you play as a video game kid who has to abandon his bits to fit through gaps and you go from being 1 bit to 8 bit to 16 bit to 32 bit indie devs are some creative mofos and those are the games that tend to stick with me like the PS3 game Rain or the PS4 launch title Contrast or The Unfinished Swan or Transistor or Papo and Yo (sorry I just love indie games lol).
Slight correction Rain was by Japan Studio (my bad) the most indie feeling AAA dev ever who just happened to make Knack so accidental full circle moment lol.
and now we need an episode of "I made my boyfriend speedrun Bread & Fred"
just for the sake of chaos 😈

12:08 This reminds me of my friend and his girlfriend. They were dog sitting, and his girlfriend was worried the dog was going to have an allergic reaction to his pain medication while both of them were out of the house for an hour. I told my friend that he should go check on the dog, anyway, even though we both agreed nothing would happen simply because it made his girlfriend better.
yeah, having two players at two different skill levels working on the same task sounds like a nightmare
that's why I thought of this as more of a buddy game
This reminds me of playing Cho'Gal in Heroes of the Storm. Both players are good individually, but when stuck together, if you're not on the same wavelength, then things tend to fall apart.
Speaking of, I'd love to see you two play Cho'Gal in HotS!
I'm with Tarny on this one. I didn't grow up with a DS or any other games console, so I find platforming games frustrating at times.
Hence, for me, no game is worth a break-up.
On the other hand, if you two were to announce a very special day, your viewers would be cheering from the rooftops, I'm sure. 😊❤❤❤😊

I loved this game with my gf, shes not the i will fall and try again but she is one "if i fall i uninstall" but the checkpoint option saved this game for us, the fact she can place a checkpoint and ask for us to get carried down to the last checkpoint makes her a lot less streessed and thanks to that we can play this.

Hey taryn, quick psa. You know how there's this meme about guys never wanting to pull over and ask for directions when they get lost while driving? Gaming works the same way, it's normal for him to adamantly refuse using checkpoints even when the alternative is desperation and wasted time.
I saw some other youtubers playing this and immediately thought of you both! I don't think I'll be testing my relationship with this one any time soon, but so glad I got to see you both playing it.

You guys should try out Dungeon Defenders (the original). I think it has everything you’d love. Cute characters, lots of loot, pink, and pets that you can bring into battle with you. It’d probably make for a pretty fun co-op experience as well!

Oh God, hearing this reminds me of that one time I got to tag along with my friends dating because I need an internet connection to do some project.... Like, I was in the middle of typing and they're just bickering about who's at fault because of certain things (IIRC, it was a petty thing to complain), then all of a sudden they just said "What do you think, Ryouma?!" as if I was their therapist
