    I have 2 oXo's and an oX. My first oXo I bought in May 2023. I love it because of the single swing arm and ease of tire change vs. My Kaabu Mantis v2 and Varla Eaggle 1. My complaint is the lighting is inadequate as I had an accident in July 2023 and broke my femur. I have solved it with some aftermarket lighting and I am still a fan of the scooter. I have about 15 ebikes, escooters, and a one wheel. The oXo is my fastest and it is my favorite for short distance little cargo rides. I use my Lectric Trike and Xpedition for greater range and more cargo.

    Your review structure, and the points made are easily the best I've seen.. And nice that you cut to the point without talking things up to much.. Comparison stats on a table 👍. And best of all, the instructions on tyre change, and suspension at the start, is truly something that matters and appreciated.🤙

      Agreed. Best review I've seen on the OXO, and after seeing it I went and bought one. Totally agree with you about tubeless tires being better and that display is perhaps the worst I've seen for this class of scooter. One more thing the kick plate should be revised to a slightly lower angle and stiffed up and whilst they're at it put a center light on it with integrated turn signals. Lord, sounds like I m complaing, but these days, the $1500 range means the OXO has lots of good competition so come on already inokim these aren't t major design changes. The scoot remains as stylish as ever and has a luxury to it. If it were a sports car it would be an Aston Martin, refined, powerful, and classy.

    Got my OxO for $999 Brand New on black Friday at Best Buy, so glad I got lucky on that. Wasn't expecting to see it on sale like that and it's my first decent scooter I've purchased, 2nd ever next to a cheapo one. So stoked. 😮

      @RiderGuide Yea its the OXO dual motor.. that front tire will spin a bit for me on max throttle.. Was on sale from $2k down to $1,499 for a couple weeks or so, then Black Friday before they sold out down to $999. The little bell on top Def threw me off for the power this has, Suprised that with me being 220 lbs the speedometer gets to 41mph on flat ground, haven't checked to see the accuracy with my GPS yet... The single motor OX is down to $1119 right now at BestB on sale and surely worth it at that price as well I'm sure.

      @SalamHerbs-db5nt I've only ridden it a couple of times sadly, but hope to take it out for a good spin soon. It's more of a street scooter when I guess I kinda wish I had on off road or dual purpose.. I know you can take this off road, but the tires it comes with aren't meant for it etc.. But otherwise it's pretty beastly and I should be really happy to get a machine like thos for that price, and now I can finally go pretty fast on a scooter like I originally wanted most, with enough power to go through the grass at the park if I feel like it lol.

    Paul, loved this review and the fact that you no longer start with the top speed test which is quite meaningless for many people, but with more practical advice like how you can adjust the suspension and switch tires. Keep it up! One question though: you kept on mentioning that other scooters in this price range offer tubeless tires. Which are those scooters? The two most popular models here in Europe seem to be the Vsett 10+ and Mantis King GT and as far as I know neither of them supports tubeless. In fact, tubeless tires would probably be a great thing for scooters. Many people I know have had to change tires at least a couple of times over the fall season because of thorns and it's an incredibly tedious and annoying process, but such scooters just don't seem to be available (or at least hard to find).

    I got an older model from amazon, but they took it back and gave me this one. The 2021 model I got only got up to 34 mph and this one got me up to 38 mph! Maybe its just how much faster it goes up in power. I love it

      @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide  10 месяцев назад +1

      It’s harder on any scooter without a single sided swing arm, of course.
      The one downside of tubeless, like the G30 is getting the tire back up onto the rim when filling it with air. It generally requires access to an air compressor. I’ve done it lots of times with a hand pump, but it often takes two people and a lot of huffing and puffing to make it start to seal against the rim. With tubes, once the tire is on all the hard work is over. -Paul

    What are the Cons of buying a single motor only? I do not have money for a dual motor. For example, will the lifespan of the scooter will decrease dramatically if I ride often on high road climbs? Sorry for my english. Also the 15% code does not work because I am in europe. Inokim website redirects me automatically to its french version. I ride 30km per day (for a job), and so I would like to know if it's really interesting or in a wich way is it necessary or adviced to buy a dual inokim. Thank you.

    Very good real-world review. Tyre hack is cool! The previous batteries were built by Greenway using LG cells but I wouldn't be concerned about Chinese cells if that is the case. The Chinese batteries in the Inokim OZO bikes are still excellent after 4 yrs.. Persistent historical faults on these are brake switches which are prone to failure if knocked, causing brake error code. Light modules can blow without warning. The prop stands are feeble and only have around 5mm of thread attaching them to the body. If they come loose they can shake themselves clean off the scooter, stripping the threads in the process. The LCD throttle units are cheap and the thumb lever can stick needing ultra fine adjustment to position the unit correctly on the handlebars. They have been overpriced for years compared to improved competition but at around $1,500 it is still a good product and the ride quality is excellent. That said, like all scooters with high top speeds and 10inch tyres, it should come with a steering damper fitted or at least as an accessory.

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
      @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide  3 месяца назад

      Great feedback. The only part I disagree with is that I’ve never felt the need for a steering damper at all. On the Quick 4, yes. But not on the OX or OXO. -Paul

      @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Hi Paul, here Sergio from Europe. It seems to be sad the cells are not LG anymore but Greenway (made in China), as you said. How this change does affect something in any way, like the range, the speed, or quality in general. If the only Pro is the scooter become cheaper, what are all the cons? I still hesitate to buy the OX 2024 model, since a few months, and I can't make a decision because of this. It seems LG was a so higher quality. In fact, I have read also a comment that someone (the author of this comment) contacted Nimrod Sapir and he learned that he was fired from Inokim! He's not in the company anymore, that's crazy. Also, the webstore maxbinker europe (where I want to purchase the inokim) says on their webpage that the new models 2023/2024 the cells are still LG. So I contacted them, and said you (Paul) said this is not LG anymore. They replied they will contact Inokim to receive confirmation, but that's strange they are not aware of this, as they are a partner/reseller. Another strange thing, they still did not replied me about this confirmation, 3 weeks later. So do you think I could trust this company? And do you know if Inokim will produce a new model back with LG cells?
      Thank you very much.

    I got mine and regret it somewhat. At about 100 lbs, the suspension doesn't compress as much as it should. That plus small scooter wheels means I never go above 24mph, I actually set a speed limit for it. Lack of zero start sucks, because I want to clear intersections quickly, but hastily kicking off a heavy scooter is fumbly. The weight is too much to comfortably lift into a trunk. The throttle is too abrupt at the low end, so I never use the red button that gives full power. Ill downgrade to something lighter and squishier at some point.
    Single sided arms are cool, but I haven't gotten a flat yet from light commuting.
    Also my kickstand came already snapped. CS tried to charge me for a new one.

Or the NUTT are actually good and I am a horribly bad driver and lucky to be alive.

      It’s surprisingly fast… but not that fast. :-) If the segment wasn’t already too long I would have asked for it to be shown realtime -Paul

      I don’t feel like a key is going to stop someone from pushing it away though. That’s the downside of scooters not being as heavy as motorcycles. It’s hard to use gravity as a security device. -Paul

      It will probably change soon. We also didn’t want to disappoint people by putting that price in the video and then 6 months from now have people be disappointed when they click and see that it’s $300 more. -Paul

      I feel the same way about shirts, but for some reason I don't mind it on scooters (though Dualtron takes it maybe too far). There's always gaffer tape :-) -Paul
