Necrotic Nick- This is about as old school as deaththrash can get when it comes down to the sound. I wish it was paced a bit differently but overall I still dug it.
Necrotic Nick- I might have to check that one out some point. I only have the split they did with Paroxsihzem years ago but man was that split vicious.
10 out of 10. Funny, your criticisms are its strength in my opinion. I want my thrash just like this. Keep that experimental stuff out of my brutal thrash. Ill say this, this band’s material is better than anything Max has put out since his departure from Sepultura. Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy wish they made music this good. Keep in mind I’ve purchased everything Sepultura and Max have put out since the split. Some of it is good some of it is not so good but the Troops of Doom have created what I was truly wanting since the original Sepultura broke up. It was a long wait but Jairo finally delivered.
Necrotic Nick- Hey, I get it. I think this is a good album but it stayed in it's lane a bit too much for me in spots but at the same time this captures such a specific style of deaththrash that I can see the old school Sepultura fans and Possessed fans going nuts for it. This captures a window in time pretty damn well.
Necrotic Nick- I still need to get some Whoredom Rife in my collection and I totally didn't know Swampbeast had a new one so I'll have to jam that. Hellbutcher will be in a collection update in the future for sure.
Necrotic Nick- Thanks, man! It's good to be back home even though I already miss all the fun of the fest. The Thou review is already up if you haven't checked it out. I'm not familiar with that other one so I'll have to add it to the list.
Necrotic Nick- It's a pretty solid deaththrash album. It's a no frills album that sticks to it's guns and just beats the hell out of you. We'll likely be covering MDF on the 11th now at 8:30 EST on the same channel. We had to adjust times to make sure we could get everyone on. It should be a fun chat for sure.
Necrotic Nick- Honestly, the last 2 were really solid but I also really liked Dante 23 as well. There's some good stuff in the Green era but it can be a bit uneven.
Excellent review. I love The Troops Of Doom, but I think that this album, as good as it is, is no different from the previous EPs and albums, even the last album is better for me.
Necrotic Nick- Thanks, man! I really dig this and pretty much everything I've heard from this band but it did get a bit repetitive for me. Still, it's an enjoyable and intense as hell listen.

A honestly album for me.None is breakthrough in!That one crave attempt them to bail the golden thrash metal era out,has become pure obsession impossible to bring back again.
Necrotic Nick- I think they recaptured the sound and vibe of old school Brazilian deaththrash pretty well here. I just wanted a little bit more variety in the pacing at least.
I really dug this. Killer old school Sepultura vibe and some Possessed as well.

The new Adversarial record is absolutely pummeling!! You need to check it out it will leave your face pounded into dust!!🤘

For me is a perfect album even more than the other one
Necrotic Nick- It's pretty solid in my opinion. I really need to sit down more with their first full length though.
You guys reviewing Whoredom Rife, Hellbutcher or Swampbeast? All 3 were fantastic. Whoredom might be my new BM album of the year
All three are awesome albums
Necrotic Nick- I still need to get some Whoredom Rife in my collection and I totally didn't know Swampbeast had a new one so I'll have to jam that. Hellbutcher will be in a collection update in the future for sure.
Good to be back, Ill have to check out this album later today, the new THOU & TSATTHOGGUA kick ass as well this week for sure!!!!

Based on the pedigree, I’ll definitely check this out. Sounds like I’d dig it. Looking forward to the MDF review!

Speaking of Sepultura I fired them after Roots. Now i want to check out the Derrick era. What are the best albums to start with?
Necrotic Nick- Honestly, the last 2 were really solid but I also really liked Dante 23 as well. There's some good stuff in the Green era but it can be a bit uneven.
Still waiting for a new Coroner album
Necrotic Nick- Same here. Here's to hoping we'll actually get one.
Just jammed this. I have to agree it is a bit samey but enjoyable too.
Necrotic Nick- I think it's a good album overall. It captures a sound I still love but it does get a bit samey.
@@thrallsofmetal I do like the old school feel of it.

The More i Listen ro this band tge morw i love them. Love The absence of Light.
Necrotic Nick- I think it's good but it got a little too samey from track to track. It definitely packs a nasty punch though.
Just got done with this one guys and it was a banger! 4 of 5
thanks
The album cover reminds me of Left Hand Path a little bit, don't you?
Necrotic Nick- Actually there's a good reason for that. It's a Dan Seagrave piece.
Nick, have you jammed the new Nile single? That single has a ridiculously long title.
What is the single called?

Awesome. I liked the other one before this one.

Reviewing 1 album 3 times.. 😅
