its still haram, yes culture varies but its established that earings are haram through the hadith and sayings of scholars
plus imitating woman isnt the only reason its haram, its imitating kuffar
wearing earrings is a custom that developed and is generally prevalent among non-Muslim men, and imitating non-Muslims is also impermissible.
Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, no. 4031 & Musnad Ahmad, 2/50)
Firstly, it is agreed upon by the scholars, that it is unlawful for men to adorn themselves with any type of jewellery besides a silver ring. (See: Ibn Qudama, al-Mughni, 2.324 & al-Mawsu’a al-Fiqhiyya).

It is permissible for men to wear silver jewelry as it was clearly stated by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that men are allowed to use silver and it is prohibited for them to wear gold and silk. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a practical example on the use of silver by wearing a silver ring that he wore until he died. Also the first Caliph, Abu Bakr al Siddiq, wore the ring followed by ‘Umar ibn al- Khattab and ‘Uthman ibn Affan.
As for wearing other silver jewelry such as bracelets and the like, it is totally related to customary practices and it differs from one culture to another. In some cultures, it is perfectly permissible for men to wear silver jewelry without any social condemnation. In other cultures, wearing silver jewelry other than rings is deemed as an act of imitating women and, in this case, it becomes impermissible for men to wear them.

@@mohammedsalimahmed5230 If it comes to clothing. As long as it covers the awrah and it's masculinity/femininity is within the social norms of the society you're in, it is permissible as to my knowledge. There is no specific Islamic uniform, not all muslim men should strive to wear thobes, Islam didn't come to arabicize the world.
Regarding your last question, as an example look at Scotland. It is regarded as masculine for the men to wear kilts there, and so muslim Scottish men should be allowed to wear it. Now if someone were to be wearing it in let's say Saudi Arabia, since it's probably gonna be viewed as another reg skirt and feminine there, it would prob be better off for the individual to not wear it.
If you're talking about an individual who will wear whatever they want irrespective of the society they're in, purely based on just what they think is not over the limit as you say, then that should be avoided as well.

if u wear it because ur fav rapper does or something, then it's haram, but if u wear it like cuz it's cool and wanna wear it cuz u like it, do as u please. but keep in mind chains are more in the grey area and so are earrings. i wear magnetic earrings but not too often, very occasionally when I feel it. i wore bracelets much more often and those never felt effeminite since we have friendship bracelets and there was a trend in elementary school of rubberband bracelets, and a lotta people do wear bracelets, and to an extent watches are just bracelets that tell time. but I believe it should be worn intermittently if u wish, well that's what I would if that helps brother. I do see a lot of Pakistanis, bengalis, and indians wear chains/necklaces and bracelets no one really says anything. my parents do not mind bracelets but mind necklaces, so it's what pleases ur family as well and that relates to the culture as well

İt's not society who gets to decide what is permissable or not. Earrings were never exclusively for women. Assyrian, summarian, persian, french, turkic, hindu men wore earrings mostly as a symbol of wealth and high status. İ find it very sad that today's people are so ignorant of this fact and they keep saying " men should not act like women" amd of course that is right but what does that have to do with earrings? Earrings, as İ said, were never considered feminine throughout society. Even in the time of our prophet saw. there were boys who had earrings and never did our prophet saw. say something against their earrings. Also İ find it very interesting that when you wear earrings you can see who is a person that has respect for others by their reactions. İt's like a tool that can reveal toxic people in an instant. :) Then you know which people you have to stay away from.

So, in the African American culture, men wearing earrings is very acceptable and does not lend itself to feminism.
Let's say in the Italian culture wearing necklaces or chains is a thing of masculinity.
So if either one of the individuals belong to these cultures are then these practices acceptable?

i think shaving to the point of the skin is haram so skin fades would probably be haram. i wouldn’t say that about regular fades though because it’s not shaved the same way a head was shaved at Muhammad pbuh’s time. they used moose, which is like a knife so whenever used, it would reveal the skin. but today we have shavers that are used to only trim and not shave completely which makes it more easy. We can’t say that trimming part of the head’s hair is haram because that’s not even a tradition, as far as i’m concerned. so i think we should be laid back and say trimming is halal and shaving to the skin is haram.
