Good Food Bro went on a food journey to explore the heritage legendary restaurants of Park Street Kolkata. The morning started with a gala breakfast at Flurys, where he tasted Chicken Omelette, Beans on Toast and a few iconic pastries. Following this on the opposite footpath, he stepped inside Trincas to savour some famous preparations like Drums of Heaven, Lobster Thermidor and Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab. For dessert, there was Caramel Custard. The final stop was their next-door neighbour, Kwality, to try the famous Pindi Chana. Flurys is over-priced indeed, but cant say 'over-hyped'. The quality they maintain, the quantity they serve, are notable. Once i tried that chicken omlette in my breakfast, i had to skip my lunch on that day. I stay in calcutta, where situates the Flurys, so i am not going to compare it with something else from some other cities. Flurys is not necessity, rather a mere luxury, so one can try it once or twice in his/her life, specially if he/she is from calcutta.
