Nice video mario. You and Nils make a good team 😊 i use the ACX with my freerace board, usually in gusty conditions and i notice you do lose speed in between the gusts. So i have to accelerate again each time when the gust returns, which makes it more difficult to push my best speeds of 32 knots, i guess this effect would be less so with a cammed sail...good work !

Nice video. I appreciate this topic, since I don't care for the cam hassle. Hey, why do you both use kite harness hooks? Purpose-made windsurfing harness hooks are so much better.
Thanks! We are not using Kite-Hooks. Both harnesses are made for windsurfing only.. :-)
Mario, you sail ac1 also did you sail the ac z also.. ? I am sailing the ac1 but I think the AC z is better to handle and also whit the waterstart.. For the next year the changed the AC z to the AC 2 isn't it.
Yes I used the ACZ for 2 months this year, loved especially the 6.4. :-)
Yep next year they are renewed and called AC2, will be interesting!

I didn't know people still windsurfed ..... TBH, it was my passion for 20+ years ..... Speed, then waves ...... Then came mountain biking and my water time ceased

Racing without cambers is fun. Sure not as stable or consistent as cam sails. But gybing is light and waterstart is easy. Without cams I do shorter sections. Rigging is fast. I am 73kg and use 5.7, 6.2 and 7m2 no cam sails on 90 and 114L slalom boards. Maybe sails without cams don’t last as long? They wear out at the mast where the battens meet the maatsleeve. 🤨

@@MarioKuempel früher habe ich die Videos gern geschaut aber das ganze in englisch ist nicht mehr schön. Das hat auch nichts mit dem Fortschritt zu tun. Schöner wäre wieder wie früher
@@riddler7090 Marios Englisch ist gut genug. Als Sachse würde ich zwar auch sein Deutsch bevorzugen, aber das erreichbare Publikum ist auf Englisch 10x so groß. Mich würde mal interessieren, ob der Kanal durch den Umstieg spürbar gewachsen ist/ schneller wächst.
