Dude! That was a beautiful and so relatable reaction😊 I can't put into words how this album is literally the embodiment of their best sound to date. Certain parts do feel like Stillworld, which I absolutely dig. But most importantly, they continued carrying the sound of Greyview only with crystal clear production. It warms my heart being their fan and seeing them live recently. But gosh, they deserve a headliner tour and all top spots at the end of 2023. They literally created a perfection with so much care and passion. As they described this album themselves, it's their heaviest and softest work at the same time. And that's something that is so damn accurate 🥲♥️
thank you! i can't even begin to imagine what they will do on their next album, this is just such a beautiful release, they've definitely perfected the greyview sound, taking greyview and adding more complexity and somehow even more atmosphere lmao they definitely need a headliner, i would love to see what they'd do with a long setlist, ive seen them once with erra and they only played five songs :(
Absence persistent gets better every time i hear it. Its becoming my favorite. Love False Meridian, Emberglow, Purity Weeps, Void Surfacing…honestly the whole god damn album is perfect.
i can't pick favorites yet, every time i hear each song they get even better, labyrinthine and emberglow especially hit me harder with repeated listens, and absence persistent has changed the most for me, i wasn't sure about it at first (i don't even know why) but it's a great opener

Love that part in Emeberglow near the end when you can only hear Marcus singing. Its literally like 2 sec long, but always gives me goosebumps. His voice is just something else. the driving riff at the beginning of emberglow definitely sounds like erra, but the vocals and drums sound so much like thornhill, i dont know how i didn't notice it the first time i heard it
@Jacob Alexandria It's definitely the most out of left field song I've heard from IA too. Definitely Thornhill like. I honestly think it would bave been amazing as the closer song.

This is an incredible album. One of my favorite metalcore albums sense color decay and before that was lost in the waves. I love great metalcore but these guys are putting a stamp in the game
holy shit i love that, it was totally reminding me of either the ending of courier or the ending of Darkbloom with the tapping outro, fucking fantastic

Agreed about False Meridian giving ERRA vibes at the start, gives massive Scorpion Hymn vibes and im loving it.
What's weird is that the song that reminds me most of ERRA is emberglow. It might just be that it's written in a major scale.
