@@nbrainyvalo I agree with you, and having Muslim/Christian representation in certain games is something I look forward to - However Valorant displays acts of violence which goes against those religions. Therefore impossible to show religious representation in a gun game.
@@fredricke8561 i agree with your point as well and to be honest with you I don’t want any religious representation nor any political representation… it does not make sense. I enjoy having voicelines from different countries but I dont care about raze being lesbian and someone being whatever… it doesnt matter and it doesnt make a difference or the gaming experience funnier.. quite the opposite it ruins it just let people run their imagination instead of blantly suggesting stuff like this… thank you for your comment

I mean, it's important for non-binary people, it's what matters, and your tongue won't fall if you call a videogame character "they" instead of "she"!

When I said it's not important, I meant Non-binary people don't need representation in a video game, if they feel they have a right for that then it's a problem. Because, If we go down that road it'll never end!! then we'll start saying phoenix is representing black people in valorant? why do we have too many white agents in valorant than black ones??? :) Where are muslim agents? jews? christians wearing the cross? these discussions are pointless and just turn the videogame into the world we're trying to escape from. It should be a safe space, everyone is entitled to their opinions / views...
This is all politics and issues that Social media/ marketing is creating nowadays.
@@nbrainyvalo I agree with the point that representation shouldn't be forced and that those things shouldn't be debated in videogames, which are a place to escape reality, but Valorant always had a bunch of variety, even in release.
The main gimmick that was advertized along with all the different characters, was that each one would have it's unique nationality, with cultural and ethnic references in their design.
When we think about it, it shouldn't be that big of a deal when they choose to make a character non-binary, just like it wasn't a big deal when KJ and Raze were confirmed as a gay couple, or when we see all the cultural variety between the agents.

If you don't care, why make a 4 minute video about it? Why does diversity in character design have to be limited to natinalty/race, why not also include things like gender identity, sexual orientation, or religion? I just don't get someone being so desperate to complain about something that you're complaining about a non binary character in a video game. Clove is an amazing character with a fun tool kit. The fact that they are non binary is a non-issue. The fact that they are non binary gives those who identify as non binary a character they can relate to every bit as much as them being Scottish gives Scottish players a character they can relate to.

I love it and see no problem with it.
for one, it does NOTHING to affect the actual game. In no way does it affect players. Killjoy and Raze are both canon gay characters and it doesn't affect any gameplay. so people being upset is unreasonable. So why add it? because it's a game that involves people around the world. there are gay, non-binary, and people of color in the world and they deserve representation as much as anyone else. No, you don't need to know what the agent's personal lives are so why care about it? so just ignore it. They didn't and aren't shoving it down your throat.
If i dont need to know about it don’t use it, it’s a video game, and dont use people of color in the same sentence with gay and non binary people because its not the same thing!!
@@nbrainyvalo it's all about representation. The game isn't catered to you man. There are other type of people in this world who get happy to see themselves in video games. Also non binary isn't sexual, it's just how someone sees and portray themselves. not as male or female. they don't like the roles so they are their own. why can't nonbinary people have a character who is like them?

Do we care? 💀💀 Next thing they are going to address is what pronounce this agent prefers, and if not used correctly, you will be banned because you said something offensive against LGBTQ. Just like you even said. All the "representation“ and focus is on something that is political and irrelevant to the player base. Why did they need to make the gender thing so big if it’s something so "private“.
@@slxcy. dude, they've announced every gender of the agents as they come out, you've must've never paid attention cuz they always said male or female and no one really cared, but now the moment they said non binary, all of the sudden riot is making the game about gender and shit?
also it makes sense to get banned for saying hateful and offensive stuff to LGBTQ. that's just getting punished for being an asshole dude. it's irrelevant to most players cuz most players aren't LGBTQ, but that doesn't mean there isn't any. It's not for you so stop caring so much about it. it's for other people who want to be heard.
