starting with season 1 is fine, i honestly recommend it. it's the foundation for a lot of characters, the only reason people are saying to skip it is because the current events covered in them weren't relevant to the young people here.
south park isn’t even fine its like every sentence(of what’ve seen) is *swear* *swear* *swear* *swear* *terrorism* *arson* *screaming curses* etc etc
@@Miss_circle-91-You're being biased.
@@mysteriouskin okay?
Yes. Going from Start is a good idea...the early seasons are a bit aged but still great (if you really don't wanna start from season 1, season 4 is where it picks up hard af, or season 3 especially with the movie between episode 2 and 3).
Another option is going like this with suggestions, but most fans are excited for their fav episodes and forget the needed time with characters that made those episodes special.
id say start from season 5 tbh
Yup. I'd start from season 1
starting off with season 1 would be perfectly fine i think it’s cool to see how much the characters change afterwards
I genuinely recommend starting with Season 1, honestly. It is, unfortunately, true that some of those reactions most likely won't perform as well, but I believe episodes like "200", "201", and the entirety of Season 24 make it all worth it!
I’m 100% with Kenny on this one guys
Me too. He dies all the time and is a poor. If this makes him happy, then so be it
he needs to react to the mysterion episodes if hasnt already. by the way guys, when you guys mention mysterion, the first episode he appeared in never revealed who he actually was, so please be considerate when you're talking about him (if scoot hasnt been spoiled already, the mysterion reveal is one of the best experiences in the series)
and it doesn't happen until like the third episode out of the 5 with the character.
Before watching the South Park movie, watch 1x13, 2x1, 2x2, and 2x6. Then directly after the movie watch 4x9 and 4x10
For some explanation the rotoscoping scenes are a parody of a cult classic animated film Heavy Metal based on the magazine of the same name. You should definitely watch it
if it were me i'd probably start at season 1, even if it isn't the best season. future episodes reference earlier episodes, including ones in season 1
I say just watch all of it and in order. Original South Park has so much charm and the characters are different from their modern counter parts in many ways.
I definitely vote to start with S01E01 and go through them all. every episode is funny with great moments, and the whole series is better when you have the full context.
the movie (bigger, longer, and uncut) is a great place to start, and really don't need any context for it, and then start at s3. but you also won't regret watching the series in order from s1.
Start with season 1 wtf who said not to watch it???
If you're gonna watch from the beginning you're better off binging the first two season because although they are the weakest seasons they become REALLY relevant later in the series
Don't have to watch it from the start but do watch the arcs
Like the console wars, superhero saga, cartoon wars etc.
Also Cartman's dad
starting from season 1 would be cool cuz there is continuity and there are some jokes you couldn't possibly get if you watch it at random
Honestly I think season 1 is fine, it helps for you to get running jokes through out the show but the animation style and the way it’s payed out is very rough since it’s the first season lol i recommend it. it definitely adds to the experience plus you get to see how the characters and overall show changes overtime.
You can skip the first two seasons, but season 5 is where the episodes feel more engaging to me and have a lot of high rated episodes 😁
If you're gonna watch it in order, you should start from the beginning.
I saw Heavy Metal for the first time when I was just 9-years-old. God bless old-school, late-night cable.
START AT SEASON 1
You can watch it from beginning if you want. There is continuity throughout especially for the season, one finale and season two episode two. But there isn’t too much continuity it’s just random episodes that will connect. Although if you aren’t doing that I will say you should watch season 13 episode 2 before you watch the super hero trilogy as the ending is better without watching them
I would watch from Season 1 anyday
Your dad does your laundry??? That a W dad right there!!
I’d still say don’t watch from the start, the only chronological stuff I’d like to see are the arcs (eg the superhero arcs or the Black Friday arc)
There's also the whole thing of Cartman's dad
Early seasons are fun because they draw humor from the kids' naivety. Middle seasons (roughly 11-20) draw humor from absurd situations escalating. I want to say newer seasons draw from current events but they all kind of do.
Starting from season 1 is definitely recommend. I binged south park from start to "finish", and I'm still up-to-date with South Park
Theres a butters and kenny episode!! It mainly focuses on butters but kennys a big part of it aswell its season 16 episode 11:D
The funny thing about this episode is that there are naked boobah all over the place, just not on the woman herself. They attached boobs to all the buildings and weapons and stuff and that got past the censors. This is because the FCC's standards are really weird and specific, so they weren't technically breaking any rules by putting naked boobs on things that weren't women, they just can't show that on an actual woman. Matt and Trey trolling hard here. 🤣
I suggest curating a list of episodes from someone you trust.
Honestly yeah i agree. I think people should start with some of the better episodes and then maybe later on watch chronologically.
Seeing it from the beginning will just show you how much the animation evolves and characters
So the 2 Big references in this episode are Heavy Metal and Eliot Spitzers Public Apology. The Animation and Music is a nod to the Movie Heavy Metal an animated movie from the 80s with a few different short stories, the movie is a trip if you have never seen it. The press conference Gerald has with his wife standing next to him was made to look just like when former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer publicly apologized for being a client in a prostitution ring.
I would love you to start at the beginning of season 1. It’s like gumball where people say for seaosn 1 where it’s the “worst” season. Not bad, but the rest is better. The early seasons have a certain charm to them. And if you do start from the beginning, you can still be recommended episodes to check out if you choose. It seems the majority of people would like you to.
idk about everybody else, but i’ve rewatched south park countless of times and i would say start from the very beginning (season 1). later on they will make references to episodes in earlier seasons, and not to mention they’re a fun watch! old south park is always a good classic to watch if you just want a good laugh, and in the later seasons that’s where they kind of start gathering a “plot” and a storyline. so honestly i guess it’s kinda up to you where to start, whether you want more of an organized plot right away or just random comedy to start off.
For me the peak of South Park starts in season 6 but there are a bunch of good episodes in season 5 and something important happens at the end of the season, so season 5 imo would be the best place to start
Hey scoot, I already recommended South Park episodes but I actually have a movie recommendation, and I was thinking you would really like Encanto. You’d be a little late to watching it but there’s lots of songs in it and it tells a great story. It is also emotional at some parts and had my crying lmao
There is kinda Kenny lore episodes, the problem is that you find out it’s Kenny lore just near the end…
season 1 is short. Seasons 1-2 are not as eventful, but it has its charm. I however discovered south park when the film came out (I was 13) and religiously started watching it. I would program the VCR to retape the rerun when my dad was asleep, and then I'd watch the episode at another time.
Season 19 'The City Part of Town' is a Kenny episode.
that season has some overarching continuity though, so people might want u to watch it in order. this is only episode 3 of the season though. i probably maybe wouldn't start the season as a whole though until u have more lore and stuff under your belt. but episode 3 might be ok on its own, since you'll probably forget anything relevant to the season by the time you get back to it as a whole 🙃
i can't remember entirely everything that's in it though. just that it's a proper Kenny-focused episode.
'City Sushi' (season15) if you want some backstory on the other main character of the episode. that one is a Butters episode. (and one to watch)
My recomendations for episodes
Kenny dies
Paris hilton
Super hero trilogy
My favs, two of em feature kenny as a main character too, especially the superhero trilogy, it gives lore
WATCH IT IN ORDER SCOOT!
I don’t mind where you start from. I just love watching your reactions to South Park
You can't watch SP in order and skip the first season.
Honestly I wouldn't start with season one and go chronologically.
Maybe I'd go like generally early season to late season till it gets serialized.
but episode by episode kind of takes away people being able to reccomend episodes and i kinda like that ngl
For kenny lore, you should watch Cartmen Joins NAMBLA 🙂
Start from the start.
If you really want to watch it chronologically, start at season 4.
That's when it starts being consistently good imo
i hope he watches Learning with Pibby sometime
You need to watch the South Park movie which came out early season 3. And if you want to start watching in order without starting from the beginning, season 5 is a decent starting place. Seasons 7 - 11 are the Golden Age imo, with season 8 being my fav.
Whatever you do, keep reacting to SP and keep up the quality content Fam!
There a few episodes he has to watch before and after that relate to the movie
@@Isabella-tu9fb before? I can't think of any honestly? Unless we wanna introduce him to Terrance and Philip or Ike's Wee Wee episode, but they kinda introduce those concepts early in the movie anyways.... Am I missing anything?
@@niziggz I already listed what before and after episode under this video
Watch in order from season 1 episode 1, it's worth the journey
Whoever said "Dont start from szn 1" is weird. They just dont wanna re experience the crudeness of szn 1 so whenever you want to do it, just do it! (Plus i think some later eps sometimes reference that season too)
See I knew it he wants the super hero stuff that’s what he’s lookin for
Watch the whole show in order from after the Scott Tenorman must die in season 5. Because both Cartman and the show begin to change into what we know now around that time so you wont have to watch all the boring beginning stuff while also not missing out on anything really big. I always start at the start of season 3 but this works well too.
I'd be cool with u startin' with S1... but you'd have to promise to stick around. 'Cause lots of people watch the first season and think, "well, I gave it a chance." But no... Season 4 is when it starts getting good, 'cause just prior, they had their movie and they got more familiar with the structure and directing aspects. Starting with Season 4 would be cool. You say SP don't miss, but if start before 4, you'll see that it does frequently. (Which is why Family Guy's more beloved)
LETS GOOOO FINALLY A KENNY EPISODE
YESS from the start (from season 1)
YES YOU SHOULD START FROM SEASON 1 🗣️
Soo...
Is he going to finish Stone Ocean?
Superheroes episodes go hard
Heavy metal is the movie they are mashing up in this episode. its from like the 80s but its worth watching if youve never seen it.
Scoot needs to watch inside job
Start at season 1 🙏🏾
A Kenny episode is Cartman Joins Nambla. He's the B plot but still important. And it should come before the superhero arc
I honestly don't feel like starting anywhere. You should go to the comments for recommendations and react to the one that you feel like doing.
the superhero trilogy or the southpark movie is good Kenny centered southpark content
start season 1
watch the movie, then start from season 5
He has to start with a few episodes before reacting to the movie. I already listed what those are
great ep
Centaurworld🎉
Start with season 4
Do season 5 Kenny Dies!
actually to cover South Park law I’d react to the following episodes in this order.
Season 1
E1 (pilot) Cartman Gets an Anal Probe
E2 Volcano
E3 Weight Gain 4000
E4 Big Gay Al’s Big Gay Boatride
E6 Death
E8 Starvin Marvin
E9 Mr Hankey
E10 Damien
E12 Mecha Streisand
E13 Cartman’s Mom Is A Dirty Slut
(You could really get away with just 1, 2, 4, 9, & 13 for a shorter route)
Season 2:
E1 Terrance and Phillip
E2 Cartman’s Mom is Still A Dirty Slut
E4 Ikes Wee Wee
E17 Gnomes
Bigger Longer and Uncut (the movie)
Season 3
E5 Tweek v. Craig
E11 Chimpokomon
E13 Starvin Marvin in Space
E14 The Red Badge of Gayness
E17 World Wide Recorder Concert
Season 4
E2 Cartman’s Silly Hate Crime
E3 Timmy 2000
E5 Cartman Joins NAMBLA
E9 Do the Handicap Go to Hell
E10 Probably
E11 4th Grade
E17 A Very Crappy Christmas
All season 5 and All season 6
This should cover most of the lore you need to know for everyone plus every storyline post season 6 in about half the episodes!
I’d add season 3 episode 1 not for lore reasons but because it’s a personal favorite of mine
Also try playing the south park games
I’ve wished you’d watched it from the beginning from the beginning
Start with season 1, people will still watch your reaction, people are saying no because season 1 & 2 are rough you might or might not like and you will stop reacting to whole show thats why they are saying no. Some people are reacting to very older episodes they do getting views so forget about views people will watch it.
I watched south park from season 1 to the newest special so can someone fill me in on why scoot shouldn’t watch the show from season 1
React to Big Al's Big Gay Boat Ride before reacting to Crippled Fight
BRUH
Kenny was goin' through it but nobody could blame him after all who could resist such a hottie
please don’t start with season 1. i mean it’s not BAD but it’s not the best, and you’ll get bored super quickly
I agree its kinda boring but i do think its worth watchin eventually
Day 4 Please react to south park season 13 episode 2
Kenny episode let’s gooooo
Scoot pls don't watch HUMAN CENTiPAD (s15 ep1)
I recommend starting at Season 4
start at season 4 if you've already watched seasons 1-3 and the movie :D
I think starting from season 11 or 12 would be good
yes i agree
The people who say don't start at s1 are idiots.
Day 10 for requesting an Epic the Musical reaction
Don't start from the beginning, this format is like a surprise party for every upload.
First
Don't listen to advice to not start from the beginning. Anyone says that wants you to skip to their little bit and not know for yourself. But that's not possible.
Just stick with the fan recommended episodes
Eat Pray Queef
day 3 of asking scoot to react to ducktales
Yeah start with season 1 and continue, they make lots of call backs to it in later seasons
really recommend "the city part of town", "the scoots" and "the poor kid" (gotta watch the c0on trilogy before that one tho or you won't really get an important plot point)
oh, and if you want to see kenny without his hood i recommend watching the south park movie, tho it takes place after the third season chronologically so maybe wait for that
S1 E1 is a good starting place ig, it's got 26 seasons and a ton of specials, so may as well start at the beginning. 🫡
no way, he’ll get bored super quickly
@nott_vay not exactly I started watching South Park and binged watched the whole show starting from season 1 although I did take a 1 month break around season 12 I’ve watched every single episode the banned episodes the movie the specials the original short played The entirety of fractured but whole and watched a play though of stick of truth and listened to most of the songs and I’m not bored. Although I get I’m not everybody
