Meyer’s good, great may be over the top? What has he contributed that’s memorable on the same level as Layla, etc. Nothing I can think of off the top of my head and it shouldn’t be that hard to do if he were great?
In 2004 I took my 17 yo daughter to the first Crossroads festival and it was life-changing for us. Since then, we've seen Clapton 6 more times, John Mayer 10 times, Buddy Guy, B.B King, Eric Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayall, Mark Knopfler, Sonny Landreth, Jack Broadbent, Bonnie Raitt and others. This was her first real exposure to blues, and I never imagined that 20 later that would have led us to seeing 50+ shows together and given us such an enduring and special connection.
Electric Layla with Doyle and John Mayer accompanying EC. It was pure joy. The audience was embracing every minute, I know because I was there for two amazing days of music. Can hardly wait for the DVD to come out. Thanks for sharing.

The Strexil well Sonny is my daughters God Dad so yes I definitely hung out with him😂 and was able to meet Nathan east and a few others which was awesome 👏 We got alittle delayed getting backstage and I think a lot of people peaced out pretty quickly after the show but the whole experience was mind blowing 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Doyle appears to play with the low E string on the bottom, Jimi strung his guitar normally. He just played right handed guitars; low E on top, high E on the bottom.
