coming from Australia, we're going to do a tour of Sicily next year, then we were thinking of hiring a car and driving from Siracusa to Noto, but after seeing the nice spacious bus service, i feel like i probably shouldn't worry about it, after all i'm a little nervous driving all my life on the left side of the road in a right hand drive car - Sicilian motorways and overpasses look nice, reasonably well kept and a lot less cluttered when compared to Naples/Milan and other major cities that are far more congested

Hi, thanks for commenting. We loved Sicily, the public transport in Italy in general is pretty cheap and we found local people very helpful. Where in Australia are you from?

Hi Wayne, we were there early February. The locals said it was unseasonably warm even for Sicily. The thing we loved most was how quiet it was to see all of the sights. It was joyfully quiet and the weather was so much better than the UK. We both fell for Sicily and would return to both these places… we loved staying in the lemon grove.
      Take care, from Peg 😀
