Even with Dual Strike, the random luck modifiers for Flak and Jugger are AWFUL XD I would love to see this exact scenario but with Adder and Koal using Creepy Crawly.
@@skiller5034Yeah but imho it should be much closer (if not even more advantageous for themsz) for themsz on a bigger map where the double turn gets way higher potential.
I would like to see a non ai version. Flak hugger should proliferate with inf and cheap units then force perserve to try and out unit count hatchi then double team in luck damage yo counter push
Watching this made me realize that the Re-Boot Camp should have used Dual Strike's visuals (AW 1&2 sprites in a 3D environment) instead of what we ended up getting. The only downside with Dual Strike is the low render resolution that makes everything blurry which wouldn't be an issue on the Switch.
I think that in order to Hachi and Flak&Jugger match to be more even, we would need a more mid-sized map, if the map its too big Hachi will have a LOT of cities to use with Merchant Union, and if its too small his discount will lead him up to having better units
I think first turn advantage actually had a pretty significant impact on this game. It could have been a lot closer if you put Flak and Jugger as player 1.
Outside of the map being too small, the AI does have a build order that it tends to stick to which is "buy the most expensive unit and base skip if necessary" which makes it very easy for the AI to fall behind on unit count which leaves it open to dives with recons or tanks.
This kind of thing reminds me how I miss fun options on AWBW Maybe CPU is not THAT needed, although nice, if it's too difficult to make, but some extra options for the room creator would be cool. Like: - Change on-going game options - Non-symmetrical game options - Unit prices So on Not all is competitive, fun is good too
You should set up a Final Battle Map but replace Strum with Kanbei, also have more than 3 CO's against him. See if it's possible to topple the Samurai Emperor armed with countless resources.
Since AWBW has tag teams (but not dual strikes), I have to wonder how they would work in tiers. Would Jake+Jess be able to stand up to Max? Are Rachel+Drake a match for Hawke? Are the increases in power for pairings consistent, or are some COs better partners than others (tier 3's multiple damage powers might be nasty)?
I imagined this would be flak and jugger as two separate factions working together. Like they both get their own cities and bases etc…this is just a slaughter as it is
I really liked the idea! Can you repeat that experiment but on a global league map you made in Dual Strike? Also, Operation Mechstorm was influenced by the AI in Dual Strike, lol.
We all know that awds is kind of broken. Can you beat the hard campaign, using only two CO? Considering the variety of maps, there could be some CO that should probably not be allowed, but, it's an interesting question. Now, I know that in theory this is impossible as there are some campaign missions where you control 3 countries. However, I also know that if you have (let's use the luck CO as the example) Flak as OS, Jugger as BM, and Nell as GE. You can add Nell as the second CO for BM, which removes her from GE. (No CO for GE at this point) then you can just remove Nell from BM's Tag co option. GE is still controllable, it defaults to Andy's theme (which is interesting as it means that by default Andy's theme is the base theme) Also it immediately thinks you're ready for a scop, which if you use it you will freeze the game. (You could in theory do it again and play with only one CO controlled army, but, "dual screen" missions require two CO, so, you do technically need two CO to complete the campaign.
when i saw the title i was pretty sure it was an awbw video, soo would it be possible in the future to commentate a match that has teams like 1v2 (ofc giving some kind of advantage to the single player) or 2v2? that would be interesting to see

I used to do the AI vs AI thing just like you did. I wanted to test which COs were better because I couldn't beat the final mission, so I'd use that to see which ones would be best lol.
What do you mean? Having the AI play against itself was the only way to spectate matches back then! Yes I did it a lot. It usually ended in a stalemate.
Honestly, A.I. vs. A.I. feels a bit dull. I'd be interested to see you vs. Panzergraf with two lower-tier COs though! You probably thought Jugger and Flak had a special tag power because of the relatively common fan theory that Jugger IS Flak. Their powers are very similar, and Flak is nowhere to be seen in the campaign... So maybe Lash tried some sort of RoboCop-type experiment and it didn't work out?
in AWDS the AI only cheats a little bit in fog. it needs vision to attack your units but it also knows where your units are (at least kind of). it's a bit complex but generally the AI ignores units that it doesn't see so it will move into attack range even if it's a defensive ai, however the AI still knows if there is a unit hidden and it will path units in a way that it never gets trapped.
The AI doesn't hard cheat in DS and DoR, but it definitely knows where your units are and just pretends not to if they are in a hiding place. I confirmed this in a situation in DoR where it couldn't see my indirects in the fog but just somehow always managed to be out of range of them.
Why would you do such a tiny map? The only advantage them being tagged has over using just flak is the tag powers but on such a tiny map itll take forever to get their tags.

I genuinely like RC's graphics, but I would love this setting as an alternative mode. The classic Wars World sprites have aged like fine wine.

Definntely. Hachi was able to easily get his half of the cities and interrupt the capture of Team Luck's final cities.

To test if Dual Srike is worth 2 tiers, I think it could be nice to see Adder+Lash (both T3 in Tag) against Von Bolt
Flak+Jugger is close to Eagle in terms of power. Their supers hurt themselves about as much as help.
Predictable outcome from tweedledee and tweedledum.

I thought that Jugger was an AI. So an AI playing as an AI that is paired with an AI, lost to another AI?
Fireworks is Jugger and Candy's tag power
Sad Jugger and Helmut don't get a Dual Strike like "GOOFY GUNNERS"
Honestly, Hawke vs. Kanbei would be really interesting on large maps. The ai wouldn't know how to play kanbie and the globald damage would 🤰

Hachi - sensei vs jugger. o/
For Little Island, Flak & Jugger should been Red Player. I've played this map many times, and Red player has a slight advantage over Blue Player.
As a Luck main this... is disheartening. xD That last attack from Jugger had me laugh though. xD
The fact that flak and jugger are not strong enough on small map against hachi shows that they probably not gonna beat any tier 0 CO.
It may be a bit more balanced if jugger and flak play first, but I still don't see them win
I think team friendship was in a big disadvantage because of the map size... It would be better to try with a bigger map
