Here is my cover of The God That Failed by Metallica. This is the ninth song that I've covered from the Black album, which leaves just three more songs until I've covered every song from that album. I hope you enjoy :)

Great playing, sound, and video production as usual. I think you should cover more early Metallica songs though. Black album is good but it doesn't hold a candle to the 3 albums before it, that was when Metallica was at their prime. I think Black album songs are too easy for your playing ability anyway. You should cover songs like Dyer's Eve, Blackened, Damage Inc, Fight Fire With Fire etc.
Fuel would be a good song to cover.. When I was learning how to play Master of Puppets, I had a really hard time getting the intro perfect.. There are some good songs that are really hard, but sometimes fun to play..
Once I finish the Black album songs I'll definitely cover some of the earlier Metallica stuff!

Niels Liljedahl Christensen I guess you didn't really read my comment. It IS about how good the song is. I think the songs from previous albums are much better than Black album songs. If you disagree then you're entitled to your opinion. Black album songs also happen to be easier to play so i mentioned it.

I use almost everything as him, i got a strat, single coils, but my amp is a laney lv200 and I can get a heavy s fuck tone, just as him

This is a surprisingly thick tone for a single coil, what kind of pickups you got on that strat?
i think its stock coil, his notes say hes using a dualrect amp with a tube screamer though.

the original is actually a half step down. it was metallicas first released song where they did that
