Absolutely. It's my favorite solo of any Metallica song. I'm not a musician but I feel it's got a bluesy sound to it.

@@muri6853 Mustaine wrote the entire song except for the solos and the middle section that Metallica added after firing him. That said, Mustaine's solos were more technically impressive and even Metallica themselves cut out the middle section live. Four Horsemen is debatably the better track for the lyrics, but I definitely wish it was as fast as Mechanix and had Dave's solos (despite how good Kirk's were).
Its one of the easiest licks to play in guitar actually

Citrus well dave mustaine was fooling around and started playing Sweet home Alabama, then Lars thought it was great to put on in the middle on the Mechanix. He was with cliff at that time. After dave left they changed the songs speed, lyrics and slowed it down.

This is amazing, it takes serious skill to play like that! I started playing guitar about a year ago, and like playing songs by Metallica and Zeppelin. I'm nowhere, near as skilled as this guy, but I hope to one day be!
