This is the 8th song that I've covered from the Black Album. With five songs to choose from, I decided to go with this more known song because I felt like I should have covered it a while ago. Also, this song has a super heavy feel to it, which I just love! Hope you enjoy :)

When I want to learn a new song I usually learn one guitar part in its entirety and then the other in its entirety. I usually learn the rhythm parts quickly and then spend the most time on the solo. Hope that helps!

Holy shit man, I doubt Kirk Hammett could play this as close to the album today as you did on the video. Fucking A++++ performance on this one. Listen bro, don't ever let anyone diminish your talent by saying you're "just a kid". Metallica was in their late teens when they began getting big. Look at Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning photos and Hammett looks like a high schooler. People do idol-worship and make their heroes out to be larger than life but in reality they're just ordinary people like you and me - who happened to become well known.I tell you this because I'm a very talented person as well (not in music) and I'm 36 now and I still feel like I'm "just a kid" and I look back at all the missed and wasted opportunities I had that I let slip because of all the people who convinced me that I was "just a kid" and that my talents were really amazing "...for a kid". It disabled me from being able to capitalize and compete against "adults" - many of whom said these things out of insecurity in light of me showing them up with my skill exceeding their own.You're one talented motherfucker so don't let anything hold you back dude. You're as good or better than many of the "greats". Skill doesn't strictly determine who became famous; luck and timing have a bigger part to do with it and famous people will be the first to tell you that too.

I usually spend around half an hour to an hour each day playing guitar :)
your videos are definitely a proof you dont need hours to practice, 30 min is enough but daily then is best (talent maybe but not only, it just helps much). Like shorter but more regular is more efficient
I spend 4 hours and im playing guitar about 7 months i can play 3 complete songs like studio recording (enter sandman, nothing else matters +solo, wherever i may roam) i think i progress very fast
