      And correct me if I'm wrong but this is just the way that I see it.
      It kinda seems like your teasing this person because your jealous because he's is so talented at his age.
      So you say something like wheelie the poo etc" to make you feel better, and consequentlty attempting to make him feel bad.
      This guy is awesome at guitar in fact a lot better then the most, and if he's this good at this age in years to come he's gonna be amazing even more then now.
      He's got so much awesome oportunities ahead of him. And I think that's something we should be happy about

    Just one thing: When you get to the solo, you tensed up a lot and pressed hard down on the strings, making the tuning go a little wack. Also, the bends were a little flat sometimes. Just some constructive criticism.

    This was right around the time Kirk was getting lessons from Satch so that's why his solos considerably improved in complexity. Not saying his solos in Puppets and Lightning weren't good cause they were amazing but just the tapping licks and dive bombs in shortest straw and justice is unbelievable!!!

    • @hjonkhjonkamgoose
      @hjonkhjonkamgoose 8 месяцев назад

      Shortest Straw will always be a solo that sticks out to me. Just the way that, even the SOLO sounds like it's going mad (like how the song suggests), it makes your head spin listening to it. 100/10 solo

    It was good just ONE thing, you alternate picked.

    • @TheCasual101
      @TheCasual101 9 лет назад +16

      I think you suppose to alternate pick at where the double bass drums hits not down pick or any other technique... I saw alot of RUclips guitarists alternate pick on one and so did metallica

    • @williamschaffer2858
      @williamschaffer2858 9 лет назад +5

      +TheRUclipsr actually James Hetfield never picks up. He is very talented at down picking. You can look up live performances and see for yourself.

    • @TheCasual101
      @TheCasual101 9 лет назад +1

      +William Schaffer true but I saw the video for One he looks like he was alternate picking but other songs like battery or master of puppets he definitely down pick

    • @kevenklayne4211

      +William Schaffer Dude... Yes, James is known for being a downpicking beast. He does it on a lot of riffs(Master of Puppets, Sanitarium..). But playing the double bass part of one with only downpicks is humanly impossible. Wake up. He does a lot of alternate picking in his songs too.

    A foot pedal lets you change your amplifier's settings without actually pressing any buttons or turning any knobs on the the amplifier itself. However, I used an effects pedal in this video, which also allows you to create your own sound presets while also being able to switch between them. Hope that helps!

    The tone difference between bolt-on and neck-through is very minimal, the average guitar player wouldn't even be able to hear a difference. However, it is my opinion that neck-through guitars are more comfortable to play, but they come at a higher price. My suggestion would be to play a guitar of each type and decide which is better. Hope that helps!
