And after that was on screen for a bit, then you can go back to showing you and the other host. (But that's a lot of editing. Not sure how much time you have to do this) If you really wanted to cut it, you could if that would be easier. I just worry about missing one or possibly watching out of order (in case you talk about a match that wasn't shown). More tournaments! These are so fun! If you wanted, you could do team interviews for extra content. Yay! Tofu!💛
Indeed. I love the Killer pooling here. The very first major DBD tournament I watched had an interesting rule where each team could only use any given Killer *once* -- although they wrecked it when they lifted the restriction in the finals brackets and unsurprisingly it was all boring, sweaty Nurse and Spirit games from there. I was looking forward to watching teams trying to win it all with lower tier Killers like Wraith and Plague because they had used up all the top tier Killers getting to that point.
Love these tournament videos, since they've been super fun to watch! Though I do wish we had a bit more info regarding what is/isn't banned regarding like add-ons and all since the main doc is missing a ton of info.
I would like to see how the #1 seed got eliminated.. I know Demise was the 2 seed and I think Jinx or Cookies must have defeated the 1 seed in the round prior to their match. Really like the format of this tournament, Lotta fun to watch.
I'm fairly sure Demise was the number 1 seed in this tournament, and I think Eternity was the number 2 seed. Again this is something that I'll try to make more clear in future tournaments by showing the brackets on stream during downtime, I know that would improve the viewer experience quite a lot!

I was pretty sure I remembered the top 2 seeds got bye's though. I knew Demise got a bye, and thought one of you had said Demise was the 2 seed when you were talking about who Demice feared the most. Would still love to see a team who got a bye being upset by one that didn't.

that last game between jinx and cookies with twins was such a shame that there was an offering mix up. that's part of the fun of dbd--almost every game of dbd is extremely unique and very rng based, and the outcome can be completely different, as we can see. also, i feel like a good counter to twins, esp in comp, is to stick together, two and two, or at least two and one and one. part of what makes twins so strong is that they force survivors to avoid spreading out to avoid being snowballed
Game three: Jinx Vs Cookies (Jinx killer) It seems like a better play would be to deny the pick up, not a hit. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t go for the going down at a pallet so that when Charlotte goes to pick you up someone can slam the pallet. I think that it would be better to bake them with the strongest chaser and rely more on that person for distraction to give them unbreakable and Dead hard. Killer’s is going to have to do something about the secondary player coming in slamming pallets on them, so that’ll give the first player a chance to use unbreakable and if the second player is running sprint burst then they can come in for a quick slam or they can use it to run away. but this is coming from perspective that I rarely ever get hit with Victor when playing against the Twins player but I’m also not someone who plays at red ranks so maybe that’s just why my perspective is more focused on the chase than Victor because again he seems heavily used at these ranks. I think I’ve developed very good instinct because I really look behind me but I’m almost always able to dodge or know when the killer is going to swing. This strategy comes from me and another player I met in solo queue harassing projectile killers with this strategy and I just feel like in the hands of better players it would be a stronger strategy. We don’t use COM‘s but every time this person invites me to a game I know a strategy we’re doing. If someone could give me some insight I would love to hear your perspective on why this isn’t a good idea for stronger teams.

Main reason. So they are always paying attention to their surroundings. Also some players do it out of habit. Not saying anyone here would, but it prevents anyone watching from passing on information. When the spectators move over all they see is the ground. Even with the 10 minute delay it is a habit a lot of competitive players have. they personally can see more due to the stretch res but any spectator from the castors can not see what they see. Once again, very unlikely for someone to cheat but habits are hard to stop.
The Mald Squad reminds me of the teammates I get in pubs. Good players but make a ton of mistakes. Demise actually looks like a comp team, knows when to reset, knows counters to killers, they're a problem team.
I think comp dbd is more fair than regular dbd if they can only use one DS and one unbreakable. I'm a twins main and when I go up against a team with multiples of unbreakable and BT... It's a pain
It’s bullshit that Jinx got that retry game. I’m rooting for them but it’s still super unfair. If anything, a team who brings the wrong add-ons or offerings and wastes everyone’s time should be penalized. I would have taken 25% of the points off of that match for them.
Of course Jinx choose Billy, it fits their nasty Hook Camping style. Of course that DC was a rage quit, Jinx plays dirty like unskilled noobs. They are like the Tournament cancer. Cookies also play so badly as survivors. They would completed all the gens during that base camping, the most points they could get on that case were 3 escapes but instead stopped doing gens and were roaming around doing nothing. The hooked survivor saw the shit team mates were doing while he was being camped and rage quit, I would do the same if playing with said "pros" playing like that. That Game 2 was just like a public matches when playing with random team mates. Game 3 Reset why?! If the Basement was not used during the match it should be valid. Jinx failled to follow the rules should just get the penalty and lose the match but instead the Staff decided to give them a even easier win. Tournament giving advantage to the their dirty favourite. Also note Demise´s Twins looking around keeping a subtle tracking of survivors movements even without line of sight, then proceeds to zig zag but maintaining the B-Line to their positions. Where there any official rules and system checks to aprove legit gameplay?! Healing perks not allowed agaisnt Twins and Billy allowed to use Bamboozle and No Way Out are such jokes. I haven´t watched the Tournament to the end but I really hope Jinx gets destroyed...
I am grateful for tourney coverage and yet, I still can't believe people don't understand professionalism in casting. I'd rather just watch the game-play if the entire commentary is going to be as crass and childish as the rest of the community.
Kinda disappointed in this tournament. Lots of camping and bm. Until they play twins. But than they slug. Obviously slugging with twins is smart but I mean camping with a billy?? Come on know. As for the add-ons on Billy, I really hope that's because tournament rules tho that would at least make me less disappointed. And than u got no ed on Billy wtf. He's a one shot killer already, and if your in a tournament that should mean ur good enough to utilize the chainsaw during endgame/last gen pop without it. Seems like a waste of a perk slot. Idk man, maybe next tournament.
@DonovenGreen the original tournament I remember seeing in the past, had two different styles. Point based and hook base. Kill base is boring. Nothing really happens in it. Also your wrong u don't have to camp to win. A lot of times, camping is what makes you lose, not win.
@DonovenGreen that depends on what you consider the win conditions is. And even with kills being the deciding factor, you don't have to camp. Point based is always the best version cause u get to actually see skillful plays and not hook simulator. The whole point of a tournament is to see who is skillful. Not who can camp the hook a little better.

I've been playing dbd for a few years now and as alot of people do I get bored but this makes me wanna play dbd again

I didnt found it on the rules: the map picking is also part of the killer pick or they pick killer when depending the map that got that day?
