Just subscribed to your YT channel. Actually, heard about you from finding MMC. He's mentioned watching you specifically in several of his videos. You both do such great things for ppl who need your help. It's so inspiring to see you working so hard to help others with no judgement. You are doing a great cleaning job on this house!!! FABULOUS!!!! I am a cat lover/owner and may be able to offer some advice for the cats "going" outside the box. Cats are very sensitive to odors so if the litter is highly fragrant, they may prefer not using the box. If they don't like the way the litter feels on their paws, they won't use the box either. It's also hard to get them to begin using a litter box if they have marked other areas in the house as their bathroom. All areas they have used will have to be cleaned, sanitized and cleaned again with a cleaner that contains enzymes to neutralize the cat odors. It will probably be necessary to "retrain" the cats by putting a litter box in each location that the cats have done their business...even if that means several boxes in one room. Of course, if the litter box isn't cleared out daily (minimum) they will not use it. They are very finicky about that. I've found that my cats prefer natural pine pellets over anything else I've used for litter-and this is way cheaper than most commercial cat litters. It has a natural outdoor smell, so they seem to prefer this. I've also invested in a litter genie, (similar to a diaper genie) and when my cat's poo in the box I scoop it out and drop it in the genie which helps keep the poo smell out of the house and litter box. My cats tend to like bigger boxes as traditional litter boxes are really small. I purchased a container for storing things underneath the bed, took the lid off and buy the jumbo liners giving the cat plenty of room to do their business. Other than just the litter box itself things going on outside the home may cause cats to avoid the litter box causing them to feel it necessary to constantly "mark" their territory, (i.e., feral community cats or other small animals getting too close to their home). A cat has to put his scent down in order to claim it so if they feel their territory is being threatened or don't feel confident in their current situation, they will go to the extreme to mark or claim their home.
The client is going to have to take a vested interest in getting mental help and taking an active interest in keeping things clean or things are never going to change. You know exactly how much time you spent getting everything in such incredible shape and it takes a minimal amount of time to let things go amok again. You do an exceptional job, Gabbi!
To save your poor neck and back, get an o-cedar spin mop exclusively to use on the ceiling and walls. The heads come off and are washable. It would also allow you to use scalding hot water and not Burn your hands. You are a trooper to go back and re clean a space you had already taken care of!
Go, Gabbi! Let’s get that monetizing rolling! 💰💰💰🍾🎉 Editing to add, the cats going outside the litter box could be several things. Most likely: it’s not getting scooped/cleaned often enough so they’re not wanting to get in it. Another option - if they’re getting older or don’t like the litter, some cats will squat with their feet in, but then rest their butts on the side for support, resulting in 💩 dropping outside. Last - they might really hate the litter, especially if it’s that chemical stinking scented variety which is also sharp on tender paws. A change to one of the clumping products made from wheat (some are even flushable if the house is on sewer not septic), will solve this. Older cats find it more stable on shaky hind ends. BUT - NONE of the solutions will work if the litter pan is left as nasty as the rest of that house. Even a mechanical self-scooping pan won’t fix anything if it’s left un emptied. As a lifelong cat person kept firmly under paw, I don’t have to be Jackson Galaxy to tell you those cats are protesting the abuse they’re enduring every way they know how. Their senses are so much more sensitive than humans that it’s literal torture for the cats to be incarcerated under those conditions. I wouldn’t be surprised if the smoke + ammonia from their pee aren’t causing eye and nose inflammation at a minimum, if not bladder infections that exacerbate the peeing. Poor kitties 😿
Agree with everything you said. If they just have one litter pan for two kitties, adding 1 or 2 more litter pans may also help (provided they are cleaned at least daily).
Exactly right! The vent cover tells you how much nicotine those cats are subjected to at floor level, not to mention ash -- secondhand smoke & ash are toxic AF. It's probably exacerbated their stress incontinence. Poor kittens.
100% agree. Cats hate dirty litter boxes. Another question I have is are they male cats and if so, are they neutered? I hate to say this, but maybe they shouldn’t own cats at this stage if they can’t take care of themselves and their living space right now.
Happened to come across your channel, episode 3. Went back to watch first two and I'm now on this video. Awesome job! Thank you for helping them, coming from someone who's depressed and don't do a whole lot of cleaning myself. Used to keep a very clean house. Depression is very debilitating. I also have cats and big thing is don't clean with ammonia because pee is ammonia. Vinegar neutralizes pee, breaks up the enzymes in the urine. As for the blinds take them down put them in a bathtub full of dawn Dish soap with very hot water and that will make cleaning the blinds a lot easier. Keep up the good work!
Looks like the blinds were pretty much destroyed to me! Poor kitties trying their best to get outside away from this toxic smoke & nicotine & filth. Cats are naturally clean animals unless they have the means to do that taken away, ie, the litter boxes probably aren’t kept clean since the humans living area isn’t kept clean. Also, I just noticed that there was no filter on the air return when it was removed to be cleaned, so, nothing there to take out any of the nasty that is in the air!!!
Great transformation, you are doing a great job! The pooping outside the box is a stress related issue. Once they have a clean space they might need some help redirecting them to litter tray. Calming drops may help or a stress plug in for cats 😊
Love it! You rock girl! I have debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis and take my time cleaning, but what especially liked was the handled brush you've used to clean with & think it would help a lot for me! Now, if I could only get up off the floor easily...ya gotta have some humor in life. huggers!
You are amazing!! I have a cleaning lady clean for me, but she doesn’t do all that you do! I love watching you and say to myself, that young Gabbi works way too hard!! Love your videos.
If you watch AURIKATARIINA on youtube, she shows how to clean dirty homes with cleaningprodukts, she cleans for free and she lives in Finland. She is known over the world for her videos.
Cuánto trabajo 😱, todo lo haces con mucha dedicación, felicidades, les das paz al dejar limpio el hogar de cada persona. Saludos desde Chiapas, México ☺️
The litterbox needs to be cleaned daily; if they are still going outside of the litterbox when it is clean they might dislike the kitty litter. Try something different like paper litter or sand and go through litterbox training with them again. To litterbox train simply bring the cat to the litterbox after every meal and also after they have had an accident outside of the box. This can take several weeks to complete training. Edit: I would recommend putting the litterbox near the fireplace since the cats already enjoy going in that area.
I don't know what type of flooring is in that living room, but you could do a commercial for them. What a transformation!! I cannot believe that it held up to that much abuse and looked brand new after you were done with it!!
If I could make a suggestion, it would be to purchase small wastebaskets and liners for strategic spots in the apartment: next to the desk, bed, bathroom sink, etc. The tenants seem to just throw their trash anywhere because they have no designated spot for it. Likewise, get some disposable aluminum mini pie pans and place them at the spots where they smoke the most. These could be thrown away when they get full or emptied into a metal can kept in the pantry for that purpose. It makes me nervous to see paper plates being used as ashtrays. It's a fire hazard.
i feel the exact same! they have told me they will start smoking outside now so hopefully that sticks, the trash can idea is great! i will try to find some to place around their room!
I love the way you clean with that brush! And what a good idea to use a pump sprayer for your cleaning solution. Also, I love the way you go after the “corners” cause so many cleaners don’t.
WOW.... I don't know how you do that. I really hope your client can keep it looking nice after your done. Or at least have you come back once a week or once a month the make sure it is staying clean. That house was so bad. But it is looking great now. Your client must be so thankful for you.
This is hard work I know I actually have done this for a n law before and it was so satisfying when I finished the place I not only cleaned but I organized doing things like this for a friend or a relative or anyone is so satisfying and makes the heart happy when your all done....your amazing person for what your doing.
Get a spin mop to wash not only the floor but the wall, doors, woodwork, etc. It's fast and efficient. I didn't watch long enough you already have one!
I noticed the a litter box on carpet. I have always put mine in my bathroom on tile or hard surface throughout my home. Since there are 2 cats in the home there should be 3 litter boxes that need to be scooped daily. They should be cleaned and changed weekly. I don't use harsh chemicals in mine just dawn and hot water. They don't smell since I keep them up. The box could be to tall or to small for the cats. I figured if my cat could step in and had room to stand and turn around it was big enough. That rule of thumb has been perfect for my cats.
You and your little family are so beautiful! You are an incentive to everyone watching I am sure. Side note: cat boxes need to be cleaned daily or cats wont go in them because they are stepping in it (poop and pee clumps). The question to ask is how often would you flush the toiled after pooping in it???? That's how often to scoop litter. I got 2 cats, I know, not fun but they are worth it. Great Job so far!
The cats like a Covered kitty Box also and getting rid of the scent of there markings helps . Hope they keep it clean and make it more homey . Great work you do .
I loveeeee what you do for others I've been thinking about doing the same!! Not on RUclips tho lol I'm to scared of that lmao but I love the idea of helping others
I wonder if the cat gets locked out of the bedroom and it is just going where it can from not being able to get to the litter box? They might try putting a second litter box in the laundry room.
I saw one of your videos and that room was a total disaster. What a transformation. If you don’t mind me asking what solution are u using to resolve the dirt off the walls? Is simply just rolls off as soon as you spray it. I purchased one of those sprayers from Home Depot. I use it as an insect spryer. It’s simply beautiful!
Like a lot of people are saying yah, this place isnt going get to get better and stay better unless the occupant gets some sort of help or has some sort of life style change because otherwise this is a waste. I get that shes just doing her job here though and theres going to be those type of clients and wanting to help people can lead to helping people who won’t put that hard work to real use and keep up on it… I just really really hope the person who needs help gets it or ends up with whatever support or change in their life that gives them some improvement. As much as depression sucks the life out of you it seems like them getting the house cleaned shows they probably want a cleaner home so hopefully they will be able to keep up on it at some point. Best of luck.
I wondered when i watched your last video...Now I understand why you couldn't clean top to bottom 😰 What a monumental task! You an incredible friend and a role model for your baby girl. Keep doing what you do! A-MAZING.
I'm sorry your a amazing lady but you've already done this house most ppl try and maintain some sort of order but these ppl seem to think you'll come in and do it for them when they mess up they need proffesional help but well done you great video
Also I would like to pass on a cleaning tip that most people aren’t aware of. Say You have furniture and or a refrigerator that has stickers all over them and You want to get them off. Use Mayonnaise by rubbing it all over the stickers and rub it on thick and let it sit for a day or 2. Second way of doing the same thing is by using either vegetable oil and or Olive oil and making sure to rub it in good so the paper in the sticker absorbs the oil. Then either the next day or in 2 days go in with a scraper and it will come off gently. Now tip 3 : when You remove the stickers and there’s residual glue that still on the wood or refrigerator just grab isopropyl alcohol and a q tip and dip the q tip into the alcohol and then gently rub the Alcohol all over the area and constantly wipe the area until it’s all gone. Also to sanitize things use the following items. 1. Peroxide 2. 100% Lemon Juice and or 100% Lemon Grass Concentrate. 3. A McCulloch Hot Steamer.
For the cats you may want to try maybe some pee pee pads just outside the box. that way it can be easy cleanup if the keep doing it. I have a cat that doesn't like his feet touching the litter so at times he misses the box.
This video was suggested to me today. I have subscribed to you. You made quite a transformation! I will be going back to the beginning of this "series" and watching all of it. Then going all the way back to your beginning and watching all videos. I hope that I help you get monetized!
Have the owners get a litter box that has a lid and swinging door. That will cut down on the mess and make it more enjoyable for the cat. I also highly recommend using wood animal bedding pellets as cat litter. Helps with the smell!!
None of that will make any difference if the owner does not get up off his useless, lazy behind and clean the litter tray properly, which means multiple times a day. Cats will not go in a filthy litter pan. They will go OUTSIDE it as long as it remains filthy. The owner needs to realize he is the equivalent of a seriously neglectful, abusive parent who makes their kid live in filth, deprives them of proper hygiene opportunities and makes them live with their own waste strewn about, promoting infection and ammonia fumes. The cats will be in a state of high stress dealing with that disgusting environment.
Maybe I missed it, or it isn't something you share, but can you tell me what you use in the spray bottle to wash the walls etc. And you must have amazing arm muscles with all that wall and ceiling cleaning!! Great job
I’m interested to hear how the family responds. Are they helping or just going back to the same old habits? My daughter has always struggled with depression and I have over the years as well. One of my destressors is cleaning. I’d love to know your go to products
the people who live here want to improve their life they are just finding it hard to get motivated, hopefully we can figure out a system that works for them so they dont get overwhelmed
I just found this channel and subscribed. Believe it's great to help others and pass no judgement on their situation. But genuinely curious, do you have a limit? Like if it's a constant problem - do you ever go back and feel burned out? Well wishes for the people, who are struggling with mental health.

Most cats destroy the blinds cause they want to sit in the window and look out. Not necessarily that they want to get outside/away.
and i guess they dont ever open up to air it all out, yuck!

that's funny, I've always used wd40 because it does the same thing.
@@hannadupras-amero4794 My Late Girlfriend Cynthia taught Me this.
@@vestel777 my late grandmother taught me the wd40 trick. Works for stickers and crayon on the wall lol
What are you using on the walls and how do you have the energy to clean walls?
You need to get a good flat mop for cleaning the ceiling. Would make it so much easier for you
New to your channel, what cleaning solution do you put in your big spray canister? Great job!
What are you using in the spray bottle for the walls and ceilings, that is yellow, Lemon Ammonia, Mr Clean, or Lysol?
For the cats you may want to try maybe some pee pee pads just outside the box. that way it can be easy cleanup if the keep doing it. I have a cat that doesn't like his feet touching the litter so at times he misses the box.
Doing a good job keep it up
This is so well explained
I hope that they keep it clean after your hard work.
What liquid cleaner are you using?
Great content. Love it!
Amazing job you are doing! 💪👍👌
This video was suggested to me today. I have subscribed to you. You made quite a transformation! I will be going back to the beginning of this "series" and watching all of it. Then going all the way back to your beginning and watching all videos. I hope that I help you get monetized!
Just curious what you used to clean the walls and ceiling
Great job! What is in the spray bottle you are using?
I wonder if they’ve ever changed a heating air filter lol, or have one on the system?
what solution do u have in the big water sprayer? awesome job x
im using the mr clean all purpose stuff diluted with water, it seems to be doing a pretty good job at breaking down all the grime! lol
@@getitdonewithgabbi tysm for responding, I ll have to see if I can get it in Britain xx
Spic and Span or Pinesol were always my “go to”.
You are amazing!! Great job!
What kinds of cleaning solutions/tools do you use?
good work indeed, just wanted to check as to what do you use to clean your microfiber clothes
Oh, the arm strength you have to be able to clean the ceiling, holding the mop overhead that long!
Maybe I missed it, or it isn't something you share, but can you tell me what you use in the spray bottle to wash the walls etc. And you must have amazing arm muscles with all that wall and ceiling cleaning!! Great job
Great work
So impressive
The baby 💗
Great job!!! Love to have you clean my house !!!
great job ♥
I’m interested to hear how the family responds. Are they helping or just going back to the same old habits? My daughter has always struggled with depression and I have over the years as well. One of my destressors is cleaning. I’d love to know your go to products
the people who live here want to improve their life they are just finding it hard to get motivated, hopefully we can figure out a system that works for them so they dont get overwhelmed
Amazing!
I just found this channel and subscribed. Believe it's great to help others and pass no judgement on their situation. But genuinely curious, do you have a limit? Like if it's a constant problem - do you ever go back and feel burned out? Well wishes for the people, who are struggling with mental health.
great job
Love your channel
