❤ any rules to help with levels other than experience. I have a lot of issues fitting more than 3 or 4 significant elements to a track especially after chopping drums up and a base line I feel I’m done cause I can’t fit any more😅
Maybe try with starting with a sample or melody and then add drums and bass in the end.. or drums, sample and bass in the end.. sometimes a track doesn’t need to be overcrowded.. often my most reduced tracks are the best. Also keep in mind the frequencies of the individual elements.. don’t let it be too crowded frequency wise, then it tends to get muddy..
