As a old rocker, I’ve been getting into bluegrass as of late. Sturgil is badass and Billy Strings is awesome. I need to put this place on my list of places to visit.
Is the Station Inn still going ... used to see videos from there always seemed so personal as your on top of the singers / bands there. Don't see these videos now from the Station Inn ... looks a real good time being there.
On our first foray to Nashville, we had the privilege of attending the Sunday night jam....great music, big smiles and laughs. A special time. Alas, we worried about the future of the Station Inn based on the creeping gentrification of “up scale” throughout the neighborhood. It seems that Station Inn may become victim to soaring property values and “progress,” like we saw happening in and around the Music Row neighborhoods. Hope not.
They need to do multiple episodes on Memphis. It is in many ways just as much of a music Mecca as Nashville. There are so many live music venues both modern and historic. There are several notable recording studios as well.
Picked up my dream guitar last week, a 2020 58 Reissue LP. It’s a fantastic instrument to play, sounds bl oody amazing and looks awesome. Well done Gibson, great to see this iconic brand going in the right direction.
@@joeywho534 It's a recent puppy but what baffles me is it has what used to be gold PAFs in it. I thought Gibson would be out of those by '64 for sure; that or someone did the cleanest pickup swap I've ever seen.
Mark do you think you could get Fender to help you guys out and manufacture some 335's, les Paul 's, and SG's. The did it for Gretsch so thought they could help you out getting some product to market. #theshelvesareempty

Music Row is and was a joke. A bunch of ass kissers all piled in together...Still, it was better then than it is now.
