Honestly, this might be the most stomchable "Do Not Play This Deck" deck. At least it's way better than the One-Card Wonder stall bullshit cancer deck.
I lost to this deck. Honestly, I didn't mind, I'd rather play this deck any day over some obnoxious deck that only functions off of a skill which searches MST
Imagine decks like this would get into the void and (at some other point) dark world dealing limited. Hugh punch in the gut for those 3 Dark World players, who payed hundreds to play their favourite deck.
"You can't OTK me" is a surprisingly busted ability. Though funny enough things like Trickstar Burn shenanigans can get around it just by ending with a Lycoris on the field.

Dont really get what's so broken about the deck, just balls to the wall otk, the guy that got top 200 in the kc cup with this is an absolute madlad, he literally only had archfiend black skull in the extra deck and didn't even play 3 RE fusion, the heart of the cards was with him.

A wonderful otk that just so happens to get countered by one of the oldests skills of the game : "LP boost x" (sure these aren't played but i mean, you just need LP, so resonators works as well.)
@@Living_Legacy any deck that doesn’t have a decent amount of backrow removal and goes against aromage is screwed. I have to play extra cyclones/MSTs just Incase I face Aroma decks. Then when I come up against another deck I seem to have too much backrow removal. It’s so annoying
The problem with this deck is that every time I see someone play with grit, I automatically think they either have Lunalights or something that's good for 2nd turn.
D Heros can avoid effect damage if they have Decider in the grave and Clock Tower can be annoying Melodius cant be destroyed Apart from that not many deck can live if this deck opens the combo Some other popular but not so mainstream options Resonators have too much LP and any LP gainig deck like Noble Knights , Triamids
Into th Void is an Infernoid card, all their Spell/Traps have the "Void" naming convention. It's not particularly broken outside of Deep Draw strategies, so I could see sonething like that getting added to the Limit 2 or 3 Pool with a few other draw power cards just to limit setups that require going all the way to the bottom of their deck.
it sounds like the only thing that is the ace in this deck is the fusion monster. The deck consists of staples, draw power, and cards to bring out Archfiend Black Skull Dragon. If anything, Konami would probably just nerf the fusion monster. All that Grit seems to do is save you from an OTK with 1 LP remaining, unless it does something else. imo, I personally wish they would just nerf or ban the staples. But that's just me. I'm sure there would be chaos in PvP if no one could use staples anymore.

to all the cyber dragon players dont play 2 overflow . i know it seems op but cyberload is useful for a lot of reasons. you can also add some other traps like karma cut to deal with melodious
The whole strategy is to tank your first turn. Deep Eyes White Dragon can counter this easily (As long as 1: deep eyes is in your hand, 2: a Blue eyes dragon monster is on the field)
And ppl always ask me why I run multiple copies of fiendish chain and trap jammer in my main decks, for decks like this with broken combos that ruin ya day (unless he clears ya back row, then still got nothing lmao)

Ah, this bring back good memories of the Meteor Black Comet Dragon OTK. Just as cheesy and stupidly efficient. In all seriousness, this does make me want to invest in Sky Striker Manuever in my Red-Eyes deck
Plays "effect veiler" after summoning monster with red-eyes fusion. Shuts down OTK. Problem is most of your resources would probably on the field and already wiped out though...
There's plenty of cards you CAN use to stop this. Especially using cards that activate on Destruction rather than on play, since everything outside of your attack is destroy.
I like how someone came up with a deck that wasn’t on the tier list and did well in the KC Cup just to show everyone you can do well with non tiered decks! And I love it! He probably had access to all the decks on the tier list but he was probably like na I don’t feel like playing the same decks as everyone else so he came up with this one !

Another thing that made that opening clip fun was that, even if Grit had saved you, a board of 3 Doom Kings can't be outed by lighning vortex.
It’s a situational effect and saved me more than once when using D/D/D

Me sometime uses grit with my forgotten Dear Dragunities! With MST, swallow and some spiritualism😌
I use grit with witchcrafters but I like going first lol

You could also play treacherous for more cancer & a better turn 1 but kiteroid has more synergy with grit
