I honestly prefer dark renewal than veil because we can annoy opponent with tribute summon their monsters and summon any dark spellcster monster from deck and grave. Much superior than veil
I just hit KOG today with this deck, replaced illusion magic into dark magic expanded (so you can kill cocytus/very nice to trigger “chaos” effect to destroy one card on the field), and added magician of dark illusion ( i think every dm decks has to have it otherwise it’s bad) I started playing duel links 3 weeks ago. Last time i played was on GBA. Dkayed helped me to catch up. Really appreciate you bro!
Knessy yo man, i think dm is not top tier anymore imo you’re better off playing shiranui as it’s cheaper to build and has consistency. I just realised it this week, coz i got dlv max using f2p shiranui today without my rank being demoted using a new account i created 3 days ago. Made the deck by purchasing the soul of resurrection box 3 times using gems only. Dm is prone to bricking and you have no outs when your circle gets destroyed/cycloned. Auto losing to cyber dragons is just annoying. I lowkey regret investing on dm [i spent 150 usd] when u can play shiranui for free. Think about it. But if you still like playing dm dont worry, its still good if you’re playing dm chaos and silent magician version of the deck. Hope this helps

I got lucky off a few packs so I invested a little in DM. Still happy with my purchase. Decks fun and strong when circle and navigation resolve lol
Knessy good choice on playing shiranui it is very strong even in post banlist. I know hey, so many buttons to click for synchro laddering hahaaha but yeah anyway DM is still a good choice though and they dominate the ladder it’s just too repetitive sometimes and it kinda feel like less rewarding after winning a game with it coz “it’s too easy”. I feel like im annoying so many players with it disabling them to play turn 2 or 3. So i play silent magician and chaos to make things spicier. About playing a single deck, well, i think having two accounts is good and bad (more decks/time consuming), so i guess my answer is you kinda need to pay money to get the deck you want. Konami made this game pay to win as good cards requires money, it creates scarcity to the players to hook them to spend money. I’d be willing to pay if i really wanted the deck but yeah i regret investing on DM instead of crystrons and blackwings... bottomline is, just do what you like man and enjoy!

game is fairly easy even if your F2P the gems are just raining in you hahaha and also the grind is not that bad.. I made 2 accounts and easily made meta decks in the new account and boom... ez ... reached plat.. new decks are OP even for new players you can screw alot and still be able to enjoy the game plus always new events every week... which is great... the problem in this game is the dumb cards they are adding which is either game breaking or just lame af..

I was cooking this pre rod to 3, and I'm so happy with this list rn. Immediately built it, is incredible. Skill is way better then using the search faeries.
I don’t have this exact deck though I could make it since I got the cards but mine is somewhat similar. Another good card to go with magician of chaos alon with dark magical circle is also power of the guardians witch is in the same structure deck that you get the magician of chaos in. On every turn when you attack you magician of chaos can destroy another card every single turn that you attack plus the power of guardians gives it extra 500 attack every turn and you can just take a spell counter off if another monster has higher attack and attacks but then that also activates your power of guardians spell and can just destroy that monster anyways.
Just finished building this deck, however i sometimes lose to dark illusion deck version of this. Is the magician of chaos better or is it dark illusion?
@@josephquiambao0315 You can get Rod with Arkana, then the other 2 you need to look at the Card Traders inventory every day and see if it appears there. You also need SR Jevels and Dark Stone. Those items are when you go to the Card Catalog and Convert cards into gold and materials

Can I Activate the Magician of chaos effect once in my turn when I activate a card effect then end my turn and when my opponent activate his/her card effect then I chained it once with magician of chaos effect in his/her turn?? Is this possible to do since magician of chaos has a quick effect??

Now magician's rod and magical navigation cards are forbidden and in total we can have 3 rods or 3 navigations, or 2+1 or 1+2. Please can you post another video with latest updates
It and navigation are limited. Run one Navi and 2 rod since navigation is not what you are needing the most usually with this deck. More important to search chaos form. Also 2 rod mean 2 searches. This deck was nerfed hard because they hate dark magician. Fill the other 3 card slots with whatever idk honestly I think they just don't like dm

Good Day, I got a question why Magician of Chaos; Spell/Trap or Effect card will do Quick Effect. May I know what are the reason why monster activate effect does'nt trigger quick effect (ex: Darklords, Shiranuis and Elementsabers).
Some probably hv to be chain link 1 to trigger, some card will miss their effect if u can chain link 2 for them. U can chain block effect if u fully understand this mechanic like sphere kuriboh can be chain block making them not able to trigger.

once you’ve got one of them from the box it’s in you have to reset the box and then open packs to get it again. takes a while if you’re using just gems

actually yes.. still consistent cuz you have ROD and illusion magic to search those.. plus that's the whole reason for the MASTER of rites skill .. if you have no cyclone or abysss just drop in some DARK magic VIEL which is better since it unbricks your hand and gives more consistency also just having circle and magician of chaos on the field is an instant win

You can also put hey, trunade since there's no limited card in this deck. Put Mirror Wall or Wall of Disruption if you want to play defensively a bit.

I've never played Duel Links but the fact that Dark Magician is meta makes me want to. The grind though...

Why does it matter that Circle is not mandatory when dealing with the rampage. I get that it is chain link 2 because of player priority.

What happen if you play only 1 Magician of Chaos because you're f2p? Is it still consistent? Is there any good replacement for the 2nd MoC?

actually yes.. still consistent cuz you have ROD and illusion magic to search those.. plus that's the whole reason for the MASTER of rites skill .. if you have no cyclone or abysss just drop in some DARK magic VIEL which is better since it unbricks your hand and gives more consistency also just having circle and magician of chaos on the field is an instant win

i think this kind of deck cant be use anymore Navigation and Rod has already sentence to be LIMITED 3
so if you have 3 RODS you cant put a NAVIGATION anymore
