Just got into Platinum today. Still riding out with Gaia. Love this build. Feel like we are exploring different ways to not brick turn 1/un-brick our hand turn 1. I feel like exploring either Red-Eyes or Neos (to be fair, I feel like we are going to lose Treacherous next banlist which is why I feel like playing around with Neos). Deck looks really fun but again, listen to the man, can be a costly fun deck so proceed with caution my guys!

I'm also thinking that The Dragon Knight's Path skill is more-or-less useless here. Destiny Draw is better but I might just get away with Draw Sense Spell/Trap which I think is definitely doable for this deck.

It's funny how a deck that was once so annoying to play against can become a deck you miss seeing around after it's been on the banlist for a while. I think they could put Rod to 2 and leave Navigation at 3 and the deck would be playable. Hell, at this point the meta feels so stale I wouldn't be mad to see unbanned Dark Magician come back to full power.
I’ve thought dark lords. I used to have a yubel/ancient gear deck. Could you even suggest to Konami to stop hating and release a fusion ancient gear card and the self destruct ancient gear card. I guarantee I’d make king of game+/ I max out at high legends.

I‘m not playing Duel Links anymore, so I don’t know what Ranked Play looks like right now from a player perspective, but am I crazy or why do I see every single video having one opponent who uses Harpies? It’s to the point where I ask myself if that deck is more played than Darklords were back then.
some of the darklords got banned so its not as good, harpies are a great budget deck as the whole deck is in one minibox with a few blackwing cards for more consistency but not needed. Basically harpies is in 1 minibox and 2 run throughs of it will generally get all the cards you need plus a few event harpie cards so its really f2p friendly.

I've been running this same deck since the release of the new Gaia deck. Will say, insanely strong and DM saved quite a bit of tight spots in ranked battles. I would suggest to swap the magicalized fusion for Eye of T. ONLY because I did the same, used M. Fusion, the problem was I didn't have a way to DM to the GY too often. Eye of T got out Dark Cavalry much more consistently.

Haha I was the first person ever to use a Gaia dark magician deck (I'm 95% sure) or at least I haven't came across one since basically dark Calvary and red eyes slash dragon came out and this video was the first I've seen of one
Was the way Navigation works changed? Played a Cyber Dragon deck with this deck Chimeretech targeted my Navigation with a Dark Magician in my hand and it didn't activate Rampage Dragon destroyed it 😳
No, chances are you just missed something that didn't allow you to activate it such as: 1) you didn't have any spellcasters left in deck 2) you had "no chain" on 3) you didn't have 2 zones available
Yeah, people complaining about blue eyes when it was meta before last banlist and they cried, asking to bring back DM cause it is anime deck like blue eyes. As a player who played against DM player and know how toxic the deck actually, I completely disagree. Every time I play against them, it is always rod on the field to search circle, then sets 2 navigation turn 1. If you have no backrow removal on your starting hand and the DM player goes first, you are actually dead
@@15jalatua95 the fact they recured their searcher, had access to a tuner for synchro plays and kaiku to prevent banishing, had a opt banish which turned into a negate was just all a bit ridiculous especially when they could run things like sealed tomb

What have been using so far is the Neos Fusion with Chaos Dragon Levineer combo. Having Necro Fusion to make Calvary. Been carried ever since

That's pretty cool! I just quit DL and built my Dark Magician deck for tcg because I couldn't use my favorite Duel Monster in this game.

I run a fun and effective ancient gear turbo deck. I get a lot of OTK's with it too

I think he did buster blader + gaia recently too. But the way DM was nerfed so hard, it's going to be hard to find optimal workings anyhow.
