I am 54 and my son is 34. When I found out I was pregnant at 19 I was scared...but what I did know is I was going to have the baby. I tell my son “we grew up together” and let me say I wouldn’t have it any other way. Only thing that saddens me is his father decided to opt out. The fact that he says he wants to be in the child’s life no matter what is such a blessing, and shows just how great a person he is. You two will figure it out. No one is prepared 100% for an experience for the first time. Kids need love and security...not a big house. A bus provides a wonderful life of wander and in that experiences and learning so don’t think a bus is out of the question. Congratulations ❤️
Maybe the blessing of a child was held back until the right time… that time possibly was the right dad. As you say “everything happens for a reason”. As a 69 year old great-grandmother, I believe this… children need love and nurturing. I have seen unhappy children living in million dollar homes and healthy happy children living in very modest accommodations. Love and commitment to family is very powerful. Blessings to you both. Even in the midst of the unknown they shift our perspective and drive us to be the best versions of ourselves. I have my own little surprise package and she is the light of my life. It wasn't always easy, we didn't always have a traditional home but I am thankful everyday that she is here.

I was one of the ones that thought but didn’t say anything. Struggling with infertility myself, I know what a roller coaster of emotions you are and will continue to go through. Babies are blessings regardless of circumstances and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. This baby may not of been your plan, but it is certainly God’s plan and He already knows your entire journey. Nervous, scared, not ready, are all things new parents go through. Fear of the unknown is so common - but once you are in it - you make new plans and life just continues to happen with the new sound of little feet. My heart is so happy for u, take care of yourself and i think u have a great guy by your side😁👍for the nausea, i had succes with using ginger with lemon tea to ease my stomach, if u don't like the taste add a little honey. And try to eat small meals splitt apart over your day. And clear apple juice helped me alot to keep me hydrated. Good luck, hope this helps a little. It will get better, trust me

You can prepare all you want but it’s a true statement when people say you’re never fully prepared for a baby. You learn as you go and babies aren’t as expensive as people make them seem. The two of you can definitely still do schoolies and live that life even with children! I’ve see a family of 5 living in a long bus conversion. I was one of the ones that thought but didn’t say anything. Struggling with infertility myself, I know what a roller coaster of emotions you are and will continue to go through. Babies are blessings regardless of circumstances and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. This baby may not of been your plan, but it is certainly God’s plan and He already knows your entire journey. Nervous, scared, not ready, are all things new parents go through. Fear of the unknown is so common - but once you are in it - you make new plans and life just continues to happen with the new sound of little feet. Blessings and continued prayers for your little family.

Hey jaylena, congratz with your pregnancy. I'm pregnant myself im about to tag the 15 weeks. Enjoy it girl, it will be over before we know it 😘 It is an amazing journey! My heart is so happy for u, take care of yourself and i think u have a great guy by your side😁👍for the nausea, i had succes with using ginger with lemon tea to ease my stomach, if u don't like the taste add a little honey. And try to eat small meals splitt apart over your day. And clear apple juice helped me alot to keep me hydrated. Good luck, hope this helps a little. It will get better, trust me

You guys will be fine and you will work everything out I see people living in vans, buses and tiny homes with children. I got pregnant at 17 and my mom was so worried about what people would think and say. A nice older man from our church told my mother to stop worrying about other people and what they think or say because they will be talking about someone else next week. Everything will be ok and you both will be great parents.
