Awesome review. I just bought one yesterday. I went to drain the battery and I was impressed. Almost 12hrs to drain it even though the red led light start flashing after 5-6 hrs. I was playing pandora music through the whole day at 50% volume. I’m pretty happy with my purchase.
I felt relieved after knowing that I am not the only one who noticed that charging the Go3 will only take less than 2 hrs versus what is advertised. And playtime only last me for 2 hrs for max volume, at first I thought my Go3 is defective. Thank you for this review!
Just got mine yesterday, now comparing to its predecessor Go 3 dos sound far more better than the Go 2 because it has more bass also has more bass that the clip 3 so JBL did a great job on producing this thing.
Of course the sound quality and volume are not the same as bigger speakers. But man, I can carry this speaker wherever I go. It is loud, it sounds clear, and it's waterproof

Pero, sus 4.2 watts de potencia no le son suficientes en exteriores, tienes que subirle mucho para que se escuche óptimamente, pero en interiores o lugares no tan abiertos se comporta excelente. Cualquier duda o comentario pueden responder en Inglés o español, se leer inglés pero no redactarlo al 100%
@@tulectura8862 holi bro, después de 7 meses puedo decir que no suena igual:/, aunque posiblemente fue por tantas caídas que tuvo ( no es broma, una vez estaba haciendo parkour cuando el clip donde lo había puesto se venció y callo de aproximadamente 3 metros de altura ) a volúmenes máximos empieza ya a distorsionar un poco, en general en los agudos, suena como si estuviera con algo de arenilla ( aunque ya le he dado limpieza profunda para averiguar si es por ello su sonido pero sin resultado alguno ) y siendo honesto llega a molestar bastante, al menos a mi que soy muy exigente con mis cosas :/, pero te comento que pueden ser por tantas caídas que ha tenido el altavoz, ya que han sido demasiadas y bastante fuertes.
Just don't use AUX, almost 2022 and every phone ( 99%) has Bluetooth.This thing is designed to be used outdoors, if you training or running the cable creates a problem

Did you ever notice that the USB C cable can be plugged in BOTH WAYS AROUND ON THE USB A SIDE??? Check this out this cable is insane, I only wish it was longer!
JBL: Premium Sound but not battery life. Awei: Good Battery Life but not Premium sound Since it is 2024, I would not consider purchasing either of these.
It all depends on the bass of the music, I'm lucky if I get 2 hours, I listen alot to hip-hop and reggae so it's normal when you get that amount of playtime at loud volume. So 50% volume will get you more playtime.

I bought it online through a site called shopee but the official site might have been out of stock with the colors that I showed. Depending on where you're from.
My JBL GO (original version) is 6 years old now, and the only problem is the battery. It lasts 1.5-2 hrs at half volume. Too bad the design is not meant to be user replaceable. I’ll probably get a Go 3 soon.

Have you tried using a wired connection? Maybe if using the type c port/usb or aux cable to usb converter. I’m planning to buy one to connect to a TV that is not bluetooth ready but has usb port/aux socket. Thanks!

I don't really remember because it was a long time ago but I do remember not liking how it sounded, even though I used the equalizer app to boost the bass.

So I used the google translate for this because I can't understand the language but yes the charging will stop when the red led goes off. On the USB tester it shows that their is no more current going to the speaker when its fully charged.
I like mine it's what I expected for the price if I wanted top bass and quality I'd have paid more for a bigger speaker I do like that it's waterproof and dust proof perfect for taking fishing
The method you're talking about is called "TWS" which only works on Fake JBLs and other Bluetooth speakers. It's doesn't work on Real genuine JBL GO 3.
i just bought it and one BIG negative is that the bloody thing moves all over the surface if the volume is loud.....just like at 8:33 of the video! You have to put the speaker on the side w the rubber grips if you dont want it to move......very very annoying! I might return it just because of this unintended jiggy dance🤬

Plss try push minus and bluethoot few minutes to. And after the few minutes going to off the led lights. And few minutes. Turn on the speaker make sure your bluethoot phone its on and connect your phone and play music and looks your phone going to auto stop your. Music and i promise you feel the LFM
Damn i ordered a T&G 125 the sound Quality is Garbage and when i put it to max volume the sounds started too crack its worse waste of money it doesn't even have a bass i mean it has but only a little u cannot even notice it

If your the type who likes to disable the feedback tones/sound on these devices then the Go3, Clip4 is not for you. These devices and their sounds alone drives me personally crazy and there is NO way as of today to turn them off unless you’re willing to do some extensive mods to em ie: temporarily shorting the speaker upon boot to avoid that horrid sound playing every bloody time. Which means, you could be in the most inappropriate setting ie: dead at might and this device will make it’s obnoxious uncontrollable loud sound regardless because the ppl that made them fails even in the most common-sense areas. Also, idk what’s up with JBL and retailers but in my neck of the woods, getting your hands on the plain black retail is just silly. Black, srsly. The most common/sought after colour. They offer plenty of other funky colours but black, nope. It’s not rocket science JBL c’mon! If they can’t get something like that right to begin with... Personally to me, this model feels half-arsed like most if not all JBL products tbh. Every single model has a caveat this model ofc included as per discussed in the video. It’s not a horrible product but there are plenty of options now days that doesn’t ask for a premium which then delivers little (if not nothing) in return imho. JBL Pro Sound=Hard-coded EQ preset. That’ll be an extra 40-50% tyvm 🤲🏼 When companies like these are self cannibalising, too much red flag for me personally that’s all...
Well If it takes more than 0,5 amp well then you are need 1amp charger, if you pick a bigger charger you dont get to match energy loss in charger heat 😉

Just ordered mine for 25 USD (half off due to Black Friday) I figured it’s obviously not going to be the best speaker out there, but it’s portable, sounds great and is sturdy like Justin Jefferson. Hope everyone has a blessed day ✌️🎉
That's a good deal, the only flaw I've seen of the GO3 is the rubber grips on the bottom that tend to fall off after a while (this happened to my Clip4 also with similar design).

Same here...2hrs of raw pump volumised music enstead of 5hrs...5hrs maybe when the volume is half or quarter????
Yes 50% volume can get you that much playtime, also depending on the type of music being played.
Same my go 3 last for 1 and a half hour full volume fully charged.

My biggest cons for my Go 3 is the lack of aux port, that factor makes the older version so much better

That sounds like a fake, I've never heard a real JBL use a voice for low battery warning.

You can't connect multiple Go3s together, not even two.

The audio call will still come through the phones earpiece or on loudspeaker. It doesn't have the option of letting you hear it through the GO3.

You're not the only one, I also use it on Max volume and it doesn't reach 2 hours. Especially with heavy bass music.

Without a mic is nice, helps keep cost down and Google search wont pop up randomly because it thinks you said "hey Google" 😂😂

I hope so, because the last time the JBL Xtreme came out. The battery did not last a year for some people.

Damn i ordered a T&G 125 the sound Quality is Garbage and when i put it to max volume the sounds started too crack its worse waste of money it doesn't even have a bass i mean it has but only a little u cannot even notice it

If your the type who likes to disable the feedback tones/sound on these devices then the Go3, Clip4 is not for you.
These devices and their sounds alone drives me personally crazy and there is NO way as of today to turn them off unless you’re willing to do some extensive mods to em ie: temporarily shorting the speaker upon boot to avoid that horrid sound playing every bloody time.
Which means, you could be in the most inappropriate setting ie: dead at might and this device will make it’s obnoxious uncontrollable loud sound regardless because the ppl that made them fails even in the most common-sense areas.
Also, idk what’s up with JBL and retailers but in my neck of the woods, getting your hands on the plain black retail is just silly. Black, srsly. The most common/sought after colour.
They offer plenty of other funky colours but black, nope. It’s not rocket science JBL c’mon! If they can’t get something like that right to begin with...
Personally to me, this model feels half-arsed like most if not all JBL products tbh. Every single model has a caveat this model ofc included as per discussed in the video.
It’s not a horrible product but there are plenty of options now days that doesn’t ask for a premium which then delivers little (if not nothing) in return imho.
JBL Pro Sound=Hard-coded EQ preset. That’ll be an extra 40-50% tyvm 🤲🏼

Well If it takes more than 0,5 amp well then you are need 1amp charger, if you pick a bigger charger you dont get to match energy loss in charger heat 😉
The ANKER power bank can handle up to 2A current. 1A charger will not make a difference (I've already tested it on other 2A chargers same result).

Just ordered mine for 25 USD (half off due to Black Friday) I figured it’s obviously not going to be the best speaker out there, but it’s portable, sounds great and is sturdy like Justin Jefferson. Hope everyone has a blessed day ✌️🎉
That's a good deal, the only flaw I've seen of the GO3 is the rubber grips on the bottom that tend to fall off after a while (this happened to my Clip4 also with similar design).
@@TaylorSoloaiJR I’ll probably use it flat instead of standing up anyways, that also might be due to leaving it in water too often or for long periods of time but who knows. It’s cheap so I don’t expect the most. Thanks for the heads up man!
