No matter the size and variants, these speakers are so good and affordable, sound is detailed and balanced, what I just hate about JBL (and any other speakers) is that they still don't support fast charging despite having an updated type c charging for some reason, it could be very convenient especially if you forgot to charge and you're about to blast.
It helps with battery life tough, those fast charging batteries are much more prone to die sooner.
They lack at details just get a hifi system and you will now what is detailed sound.
Battery size would have to be 2000mah or more to accept 2 amps of charging and 3000mah at 3 amps.
@@szilardgurbai3190 A hifi system is a bit larger than this though. I'd like to see you jam a hifi system in your pocket! For the size the quality is amazing.

but I agree that, having a medium sized speaker and an extremely priced 2, and a go 2, I would buy the go 3 if it had fast chargin for use on my bike instead of my current bottle cage speaker.
We use a Language Interpreter at work with a JBL Pulse 2 hooked on as a speaker and when the pairing sound went on for this thing I immediately got nostalgia.
The pause indicates that you already reached the highest volume or the 100% even in my awei audio devices do the same way
Rightly mentioned. With no display one won't know the level. So as for me, the pause makes sense.
With my Charge 4, it still does the max volume chime but it doesn't pause the music. It only softens it.
Yes, I think almost all JBL speakers and headphones do the same and that's normal.

Awesome speaker sounds spectacular can’t wait till your new review on the new Flip 6 in December. The GO 3 comes in spectacular colors looking for the JBL in orange have to go over seas to get it. This GO 3 blows away the GO2 JBL really engineered this speaker to a great performance level.
Unless you are constantly adjusting the volume, for what ever reason that I can't think of, the 100% clip doesn't bother me. Great review. Mines in the mail. I work in a kitchen and having such a durable and wet proof little speaker for some background tracks is wonderful!

I received mine as a prize, I had a choice of a few items & I'm so glad I chose this dynamite little Blast Box. The sound is awesome so evenly toned. My opinion is you can't go wrong if you get this JBL. I also wished they would shorten the charge time but I'm okay with it since the sound is super! Thanks for the video I really appreciate an honest review, it helped me to decide!

I just got this speaker yesterday and it is pretty bad ass I love it it went for seven hours at my friends house and I didn’t have it above 75% volume the whole time. So it is one hell of a speaker and can last way longer than anything else I would imagine in that small of a form factor.
7 hours is a great run time for this speaker.

Just bought this speaker today, can concur that I love it. Very portable, very nice to hold, and very good sound quality. I don’t really feel the same way about the pause, I find is useful myself but I do recommend you turn it all the way up before playing the music if you find it irritating. I even have this same color. It can come with a 2 year protection plan from Walmart and I got that of course, only 4 extra dollars at my local. This review, I rate a 10/10 and the speaker I also rate a 10/10.

I've had mine in very heavy use for over a year now and I must commend the team that designed this speaker. I legit think this is one of the goat speakers that people will remember with great nostalgia in a 15-20 years. Everyone I know who has one loves it.

At 9:40 it's done on purpose, it's a vibrator that allows when the speaker is in the sand to vibrate the sand around and create an atmosphere (see jbl go 3 trailer where it is shown). So if you want to listen on a hard surface, you just have to put it upright on the anti-slip strips made for

the reason they have a mute and sound at 100 % is to let people know that it is at max volume or you'd have people pressing the plus button more than they need to. It also makes in terms of a warning letting one know that the volume is now about to get louder.
to add to your point, other speakers and headphones do the same, mine say "Maximum volume".

Got mine for podcasts. Think I’ll like it. JBL speaker I have now has worked hard and lasted forever.
I think the 100% thing is a way of telling the user that it's on max volume, otherwise you usually have to guess with other devices. Can you use it directly through the USB port or do you have to stream the music with bluetooth?
Bought it today, and when I tried 100 i just rolled my eyes thinking i got a foulty unit. Never had a way of telling me with other bt devices, glad to get it confirmed in this vid
That's exactly what that is. All JBL speakers have that 100% sound.

It is every Bluetooth headset and speaker I've had does that lol gotta have something to complain about though can't every be 100% perfect but yeah a better battery life like 8-10 hours would be primo that's the only reason I have not bought one

How long do you think it is safe to use it? I bought mine yesterday and I have been using it for a long time, although the battery has lasted since then so I am very satisfied in that aspect
Its an electronic device, it doesn't get TIRED like a living thing. You cant use it too much .
It has a great sound. I just wish the battery life were a bit better. However, with the great sound this speaker puts out, you really wouldn't have to really crank it to really enjoy your music or other content. I'm sure audio books would sound great on this speaker as well.

Great review! Though some parts could have been shorter. I ABSOLUTELY agree how annoying those small sounds that stop the music are. It reminds me of my Sony headphones that take their time to tell me "noise cancelling off" while muting payback. As if I wouldn't otherwise know. They're doing this for the 5% of users who are just too dumb.
Maybe I'm too old and dumb but mine gives me nothing but trouble.. for instance, bluetooth is on: sound keeps stopping.. regularly every 20, 30 or 40 secs. my phone is only 3 meters away.. battery I guess is full since it's connected to the computer all the time, and I'm getting white light..
Apart from this, the speaker at certain low tones of base starts snorting, in o. words it can't handle it..
I regret having bought it..
I bought one of these at a Local Wal Mart I'm very pleased with my purchase of this speaker I was blown away by the sound of this speaker for the size it is it sounds really good I definitely recommend it

Hello!! I love your content and keep going!! In germany, JBL GO 3 price is 33 euro and Sony SRS XB12 price is 29 euro so we can say that price is same for me. So, What is your suggestion? I will use the speaker to listen online lecture (and movie )so it should be clear and quality sound. Im living in dormitory enviroment so probably I will not be able to max sound. I will put under it under my screen yeah thats all :) Thank a lot for helping !!

You can increase button life by having the 100% signal noise, instead of spamming the button. Great review!!
Just recently got a charge 5, it was a toss up between xtreme 3 and charge 5. My heart wanted the xtreme due to the amazing sound demo I had, but head said charge, as there were too many negatives on the xtreme for portability - not able to charge from car / van usb, and normal usb chargers, not able to use full power on battery, poor battery life when travelling, too large to be truly portable. The charge 5 has an amazing sound for its size, its portable, has excellent battery life, acts as a power bank, and fits in a ruck sack etc, can be charged from the van and car usb ports. But, even though I love my charge 5, I don’t think I’d be carrying it around when mointainbiking, or hiking, because it is 1kg and takes up a drinking bottle space. So although the charge 5 is my go to portable speaker, for situations where its still a bit big or heavy, I think the go3 would be perfect, especially with the belt loop to tie onto a backpack or similar - it’ll take up zero storage space. Definitely going to pick one up to be my ultra portable personal audio buddy.

usually, in real life environment when you will be using this, you will not increase or decrease the volume looking at your source device.
You can stop the speackers from making those jingles or sounds in the app

This easily outperformed my Sony SRS-XB12 that I somehow lost for half the price. I was astonished.
I played them both together at Walmart the jbl 3 was a lot louder and clear
I got an xb12 and $20 for a broken vape 5 years ago.. served me well til last year when it was passed on to my girlfriend.. then i got the go3 😎 we got good speaker tastes
I haven’t got a speaker yet, never had one, i was looking into buying one and I liked this jbl go 3, it’s just that why it doesn’t have a proper strap, if it had the strap than I would buy it. When will there be a jbl go 4, maybe with a proper strap?
No aux option and you can't skip tracks but it's still sounds stellar
