I have a charge 4. I used it for festivals, outdoor BBQ, camping, desk speaker, shower speaker... It's amazing!!! Also it's so loud you literally cannot play it max vomume inside without the next door neighbours complaining :p
Went with the charge 4. More portable and better priced than the larger ones, and it had great sound quality, especially bass. I've never been in a scenario where it wasn't loud enough. Also, being able to charge my phone on it comes in handy a lot. Of course, if I had cash to burn, I'd get the boom box.
What's it like with the driver on the far right side? I don't care about the mono, but what is it like when you play music and it plays out of the right side?

@OLJUD No, its not crap. It gets pretty low for its size, it is fully waterproof, and it is very impressive considering that it uses a single 3 watt driver and a single passive radiator. I have taken one apart; great engineering in the speaker. The seal is made of an interesting material, a custom made circuit board, some space for air movement, and the passive radiator has a tough surround to add weight for the low tuning. The driver is of very high quality, and i have tested it by itself without the EQ chip in the speaker, it performs very well for it’s size. The battery is small, but that gives you the ability to easily charge it through your power bank that is only half full or something. The rubber feels good, and the isolation feet at the bottom are brilliant; the perfect mix of hardness and softness for isolation, and they do their job very well. The go 2 even has something over the flip5: THE F*KING AUX JACK. The sound quality is still good for the size and price. You have to consider that the speaker is TINY, and WATERPROOF. Admittedly, the bass isn’t top end, but the mods and highs are great. My opinion is based off a few hours of research, my own testing, and comparison to other speakers and speaker parts (flip 4, UE wonderboom, goldwood GW204-8S, Pyramid tweeters, Micca MB42X without and with EQ to balance out sound signature, VTIN K1, subwoofers, B&W wall mounted speakers (a discontinued model without any info), etc.) Please tell me if i got anything wrong, and @OLJUD if you know anything else I would be glad hear it as well.
Yes we know Boombox is bigger, but didn't expect it to be That loud in difference. It was like 3 times louder when it's just double in size. Was surprised too.
Love the Charge 4.. Bought 2 separately when on sale.. Pairing them both together and setting them up to play in stereo configuration is simply brilliant... indoors or outside.. they sound fantastic together.

@@bbg619 yes easily. I had a deal on amazon with a case (120 euro total). The Charge 4 in its case easily fits in my Eastpak and any medium backpack will do. Sound is amazing. But it's best used indoors, otherwise I'd opt for the Xtreme2
Had a Charge 4 for about 2 years and it was great. Being waterproof made it a great option for use in the shower and its sound quality was unmatched by any other speaker its size. I just upgraded to the Boombox 2 which put a dent in my pocket but the sound quality is absolutely amazing hands down.
I have the original boombox and a charge 3. The boombox is a very impressive speaker but it's size and weight don't always make it the most practical to take around with you. Hence I bought the charge 3 which is great when you want something more portable that you can throw in your backpack. The best part is you can link the speakers to play in party mode if you want to sound to come out of both at the same time. Real world battery life is also quite impressive. I've used these speakers multiple times when out having drinks with friends and never had them go flat.

I have the jbl flp 3 and jbl charge 4 and I'm very happy with both of them but the charge 4 is just the best option you can have in my opinion. Its small fits in every backpack and you can hear loud music for hours. If your friend has the same box you can even connect them together and enjoy it with double of the sound. In my opinion the jbl charge is the best way to go. Only costs a bit more then the flip but its worth it.

Man, please don't do this mistake, charge 3 is better than the 4, it's a stereo speaker, that's why currently, the price is still the same. It's also smaller and lighter, it has a microphone while the charge 4 doesn't. The 3's battery recharges in 1h30 less for the same 22h battery life at 60% volume. Same thing with flip 5 vs flip 4. For my part, i have the xtreme 2 now, and for me it's the best of all Bluetooth speakers, it has the size that i want, i can put it in my bag or my suitcase, i like to transport it with the beautiful strap which has a bottle opener. When i take a shower the bathroom turns into a night club. And i only have to plug it one time a week...
I used to have the charge 4 and I loved it! For its size, it really delivers. I now have the clip 4 which blew my mind how loud it is for how small it is and that it still has enough bass to satisfy for the size, and I have my absolute favourite, the boombox 2, the bass man, if you put it in a corner especially it has vibrated the whole room and the sound could travel the street lol. It’s my baby, I love it

I have a flip 4 which I prefer over the 5. I use it primarily indoors and it seems most balanced of all the speakers. JBL is heavily bassed sound. I think that it's build and base is due to the fact it's meant primarily for outside. I'm now looking for something and can't find what I want. What's your thoughts on the Marley getting together mini?
Bass is good in Flip 5? Sorry but the Flips is just too shallow, I have own almost every JBL speaker at 1 point and the Flips are just disappointing. You are better off with Charge 3 or 4. My favourite is the Xtreme though. 👍

They go on sale a lot. I bought my xtreme 2 a week ago at Wal-Mart for 249 dollars. Target had it for 349 dollars. Last year i paid 450 for my boombox, since then I've seen it as high as 499 and as low as 379 my charge 4 was 119 at the time i got it.

Had the Xtreme 2 for a couple years now and I couldn't be happier. It's a touch on the bassy side but whatever. I have it synced to my google home mini and it's such an awesome setup for my size living room
I work in a very loud factory and have a charge 3 which is really quiet at work, I am really looking to get an xtreme or boombox. For party’s at home the charge is great.
If you want to connect 2 speakers with different features example like partyboost with Connect+, you can use the dual Bluetooth in your phone. Samsung Note 8 and newer have that feature, so you can pair 2 speakers no problem. 😀👍
First if all, I would like to appreciate your efforts and the professionalism you put into yoir videos. But I would like to correct you at one thing that is that JBL have a customiaable eq. You can customise the equalizer in the JBL Connect app
Now that i got my xtreme2 which is so loud you have to shout against it, i am actually even more impressed how well my old charge3 sounds regarding its much smaller size in comparison. if you want to dance with friends, the extreme2 just has the extra base needed.
I use an xtreme 2 now, it's by far my favorite speaker I've used. I've brought it to beach bonfires, camping in the woods and the bass, volume never disappoints. Especially in rooms man the bass is amazing if you place the speaker in the right spot like in a corner of the room it just fills up everything and sounds amazing. That's jus my opinion tho. I can't quite afford the boombox. But the xtreme 2 doesn't disappoint

I use my charge 4 everyday on a farm, trust me they pretty last well. Its decently loud and has help up very well.

I personally reccomend a Flip, or Charge, if you don't go for a big parties very often, but want a really good speaker, for a reasonable price

I feel like xtreme 2 is more my type of speakers but i would go with charge 4 cus of the better pricing
Man, please don't do this mistake, charge 3 is better than the 4, it's a stereo speaker, that's why currently, the price is still the same.
It's also smaller and lighter, it has a microphone while the charge 4 doesn't. The 3's battery recharges in 1h30 less for the same 22h battery life at 60% volume.
Same thing with flip 5 vs flip 4.
For my part, i have the xtreme 2 now, and for me it's the best of all Bluetooth speakers, it has the size that i want, i can put it in my bag or my suitcase, i like to transport it with the beautiful strap which has a bottle opener. When i take a shower the bathroom turns into a night club. And i only have to plug it one time a week...
I used to have the charge 4 and I loved it! For its size, it really delivers. I now have the clip 4 which blew my mind how loud it is for how small it is and that it still has enough bass to satisfy for the size, and I have my absolute favourite, the boombox 2, the bass man, if you put it in a corner especially it has vibrated the whole room and the sound could travel the street lol. It’s my baby, I love it

Happy with my JBL extreme 3 now added JBL boombox 3 to my collection
I have a flip 4 which I prefer over the 5. I use it primarily indoors and it seems most balanced of all the speakers. JBL is heavily bassed sound. I think that it's build and base is due to the fact it's meant primarily for outside.
I'm now looking for something and can't find what I want. What's your thoughts on the Marley getting together mini?

Sorry but the Flips is just too shallow, I have own almost every JBL speaker at 1 point and the Flips are just disappointing.
You are better off with Charge 3 or 4.
My favourite is the Xtreme though. 👍

They go on sale a lot. I bought my xtreme 2 a week ago at Wal-Mart for 249 dollars. Target had it for 349 dollars. Last year i paid 450 for my boombox, since then I've seen it as high as 499 and as low as 379 my charge 4 was 119 at the time i got it.
I have the charge 4 for 90 euro's thats around 100 $

Had the Xtreme 2 for a couple years now and I couldn't be happier. It's a touch on the bassy side but whatever. I have it synced to my google home mini and it's such an awesome setup for my size living room
I’ve owned a charge 4 and extreme 2 to me for portability I’d stay with the charge 4 but for loudness and stuff like that I’d keep the extreme 2
I work in a very loud factory and have a charge 3 which is really quiet at work, I am really looking to get an xtreme or boombox. For party’s at home the charge is great.

If you want to connect 2 speakers with different features example like partyboost with Connect+, you can use the dual Bluetooth in your phone.
Samsung Note 8 and newer have that feature, so you can pair 2 speakers no problem. 😀👍

But I would like to correct you at one thing that is that JBL have a customiaable eq. You can customise the equalizer in the JBL Connect app

Now that i got my xtreme2 which is so loud you have to shout against it, i am actually even more impressed how well my old charge3 sounds regarding its much smaller size in comparison. if you want to dance with friends, the extreme2 just has the extra base needed.

I don't think you would get that much improvement for that amount of money compared to your current setup, so I don't really see a reason to upgrade.

I use an xtreme 2 now, it's by far my favorite speaker I've used. I've brought it to beach bonfires, camping in the woods and the bass, volume never disappoints. Especially in rooms man the bass is amazing if you place the speaker in the right spot like in a corner of the room it just fills up everything and sounds amazing. That's jus my opinion tho. I can't quite afford the boombox. But the xtreme 2 doesn't disappoint
i just switched from the xtreme to the boombox. trust me bro if you can spare the money its worth it, the boombox sounds soooo much better in my opinion
