    If I may suggest : once you have released the spring you should lock the nut again... 1000km later you should release the nut again to let the spring compensate a little bit of stretching of the belt and then lock it again. In any case it should'nt be let loose....

      that's pretty epic , I'm stoked to see what you do with these wagons , I think you should put the 1j in the red wagon and do a sweet redblock build with the blue one . something cool about building the stock engine

    The car stalled..!!!

    Greetings from California! Good video. I removed the crank bolt with a battery powered impact wrench. Came off very easily and with no locking tool needed.

    • @bobjohnson1587
      @bobjohnson1587 2 года назад

      I just used a long handled wrench and gave the engine starter a quick turn and off popped the crank bolt. No impact wrench required!

      @@mikewong5888 I removed the inspection cover on the bottom of my AW70 transmission and stuck a screwdriver up into the toothed flywheel. That kept the crankshaft from turning while I torqued down the crankshaft bolt. Easy-peasy! Worked like a charm!

    I need help removing the crankshaft pulley from the crankshaft on my B230F. I have removed the bolt and washer, but unlike your pulley which you just wiggled off @3:19, mine is firmly stuck to the shaft. I have tried wiggling, lightly prying with a bar and lightly tapping with a hammer but it just won't come off. Any suggestions?

    Hallo! Klopt het dat je Nederlands bent? Ik hoop het anders snap je hier niks van.
    Maar ik heb een vraag, ik ga binnenkort de distributieriem van een 940 2.3 vervangen, maar ik vind meerdere "tooth belts" met zeer uiteenlopende prijzen, kun je me vertellen welk artikelnummer je hier gebruikt? en waar je het gekocht hebt?
    Bedankt alvast!

      n3lis94 Het beste kun je gewoon op kenteken zoeken bij bijvoorbeeld winparts, je hebt dan altijd de goede. Er zit inderdaad veel verschil tussen de merken. Kies welke jouw prima lijkt.
