    actually the hand rule ("maze trick") works in any maze under the conditions that the entrance and exit are on the outer wall and its only 1 level. you do get stuck on circles in the center, but you will never reach such a circle using hand rule since you are going along outer walls

    • @Thepopmario
      @Thepopmario 2 года назад +42

      You also need to mention that it doesn't work in a maze that has portals that lead to loops. (Just in case)

    • @linkhidalgogato
      @linkhidalgogato 2 года назад +26

      @@Thepopmario that's just fancy levels, functionally portals are the same as a ladders

    • @AdroSlice
      @AdroSlice 2 года назад +12

      There's a way to flatten these multi-level mazes to make them work with the hand rule.

    • @glenmcgillivray4707
      @glenmcgillivray4707 2 года назад +6

      Strictly speaking a number 8 shaped maze with a staircase in the middle of the two 8s to force you to use the interior wall defeats the outer wall rule.
      And if you leave a few loops in the trail within? Even touching the initial inner wall at the start is no surefire way to get out

    • @Susul-lj2wm
      @Susul-lj2wm 2 года назад +3

      @@glenmcgillivray4707 exactly, it only works if you start on the outer wall and end there aswell, with no change in elevation

    I find Moonbo's has a lot of potential. He said he didn't make each face have different exits to make it easier. Imagine if he did. Also he could've made holes somewhere that would lead the ball to the other sides.

    • @mineslime7766
      @mineslime7766 2 года назад +4

      Ye. I really want a second version of that. Imagine a second level on each side with glass so you can see through. :o
      In this version you could just follow the path from the exit on each path and find the path instantly.

    • @Zordlistair
      @Zordlistair 2 года назад +6

      If they were sabotage holes that just reset progress and only activated once you got past so they couldn't be used as skips, you could look at the maze from the bottom and have the ball on the ceiling to counter it

      press forward maps are likely to be pretty inconsistent on zeepkist due to it not being deterministic physics, and a cup of the day isnt possible without a LOT of coordination (you'd have to knock out people from playing midround which cant be easily done, and a lot of the time finishing some maps consistently can be hard)

    If you nested your sensor square in another square you could use pistons to make the walls jump up in front of their face. You could also make a switch to have the walls stay or go back down.

    • @jonathanmacdonald9609
      @jonathanmacdonald9609 2 года назад +13

      That's amazingly confusing and I love it. You could simulate multiple floors and do that within the floors too. You could even have one-way doors just to make it more complicated. This deserves it's own whole set of challenge mode levels.

    I just love these, all so creative but how did Moonbo even think of that? What about a "Pass the Torch" Challenge? A maze, track or vehicle challenge, you switch at a designated time and start building on the others creation from where they left off, once everyone is has contributed to each persons build, you play. Interpret that as you will, you guys are all so ingenious!

    I absolutely love the creativity of all those, but Moonbo's maze is really good because it's a skill maze.
    You can add so many ideas on that, for example advanced holes. You can collect the ball under every stage separately, but you can make hidden stage connections. For example if you fall through face 2 there's a one way spring door to face 1. You can also make oscillating holes that are covered and uncovered. There can be one way trap walls which activate on touch and rotate so it's unlikely that your ball will be getting out any time soon. You can make elevators, ramps or even pulling mechanisms that are supposed to either unlock you the path or press a button.

    It would be super cool if you made a cardboard maze where there isn't a way to get through at the beginning but some walls are thicker than others and you have to get through as fast as possible with a spudgun! (probably not a spudling gun to keep people from just going straight without the walls having to be super thick) One of you could do this in the next maze video or you could all do it!

    It would have been great if your maze had wheels for the floor, and every time they went the wrong path they would just launch the player back to the starting zone. Sensors in the starting zone could be used to turn off the wheels, so it would only spin the tires the exact amount of time it took to return the players to start.

    Would have been so much easier if they had done walls red, center path green, or two separate colors, and started over from the start and stuck with the process. They kept changing the process, and the approach every time, and it was just messing them up.

Also love the other mazes, the concepts of each was absolutely awesome, well thought out and well done...the technical prowess of ghe sensor maze and the gyroscope were absolutely astounding...i think the technical side of the glass maze was a bit downplayed in regards to that you didnt have to have all of the other switches done to get to the end, making it more of that the other switches were just helpful hints along the way, still love it but i also think that it would be fun with just the glass that makes it so you can't really see what's going ^_^
