I love my Wilson Staff Model blades.. the 4 iron isn't the easiest to hit, but when you nut it.. !! I tried the Wilson Staff Model CB 4 iron.. and hated it.. just felt so different. But I love my Wilson Staff Model Utility 18° and 21°... Nice comparison !! Thanks
Great video. New Level are probably the best iron manufacturer nobody has heard of 👍 Pleasantly surprised it didn't hit the ball too far compared to your own irons.
Taylormade p760 4i in the bag and for the moment a Titleist 816H2 19 degree hybrid. Struggling a bit to find the right transition from irons to 3w/Driver, been trying Callaway Apex hybrids and there is a Titleist TM-B 2i tucked away at home but it seems like the Titleist 816H2 19 and sometimes the 23 to replace the 4i often finds their way back in the bag. Playing Pw + 50 ,54 & 58 wedges so options at the other end are limited.
I play the Cobra Forged Tec 7 thru Gap, that's 30 thru 49 degree loft I use the Wilson D300 for the 5 and 6 that's 23 and 26 degree these are distance clubs sorta like utility irons
This may sound crazy, but some players do not benefit from a wider sole. A shallow angle of attack requires little/low bounce and a utility can work adverse when hitting off the turf.
I have both the 18 degree and 24 degree. Depending on the course I'll use one or both. Great utility irons. I had the previous iteration, 4995HB (I think), and they were rather clicky. The NLU-01 are not clicky in my observation.
5 iron to 4 hybrid gap in my bag is ridiculous. (175 to 200+) Could put something in between but means losing a wedge or maybe the 3 wood depending on where I’m playing. Nothing is straightforward! (Maybe for amateurs they should let us play with 15 clubs?? )
Thinking about adding a utility iron or having a jpx 921 5 iron strengthened two degrees. Currently have a hybrid, but I can’t fade it. Easy time playing a draw but am unable to put any shot shape left to right. I’ve even set the adjustment sleeves -2 to try and get an open face and still can’t fade the ball. Any else have this happen won’t hybrids ?
Definitely look at one which has very little offset to help you work it left to right, the p790udi and x forged ut come to mind as low offset utility irons
Really cool to see the increase in launch and speed without the dropoff in spin!

Wouldnt know what to do without my 4UI!!! Great Video!!!!

I visited their site and it seems they only offer steel shafts whereas Ben Hogan offers both steel and graphite
My favourite channel. Thanks for the content.
Wow, thanks!
Nice to see the spin retention

I struggle with my utility iron and I am not sure why. I have a 4 iron in the bag and have played with a 3 iron recently and hit them fairly well.

I loved the 24 so much i got the 21 and the 18 as well. i rotate the 2 stronger ones based on conditions. They feel really nice.
nice very nice!
You had better numbers with cobra radspeed 7 iron 212yds 15 launch and 46° land angle, not to mention the utility would be triple the price.

great looking club im going to grab one
Why didn't you compare the staff model utility 24 degree to your blade 4 iron. That would be great to see.
I need one to compare

You never got a great strike on utility, if you had it would easily be a full club longer, use it as your three iron
