Rad video, mate! Loved watching the repairs done by hand... and the old-school tape dispenser 🤙
Thanks. We have state-of-the-art equipment, but the most important thing is our experienced technicians and their attention to detail!
now i have to figure out how to do it home!
Well done
Thanks!
Do you use ptex and epoxy together or separate? Thank you !!
That’s an impressive repair! I just damaged my edge on a rock. Any shops you can recommend in Utah or NYC to get it fixed? Thanks
We are not too far from NYC. If you are ever down in PA drop the board off and we will take care of it!
But seems the new piece is not welded to original edge, will it work normal under torsion?
Screws are used to ensure the new edge will work under normal torsion.
Just had to do the same kind of repairs on my board , is it going to last ? is there any chances of breaking/open again ? thank you
what product do you use in the sealing phase? Thanks!
We use epoxy to seal the repair!
@@Buckmans do you mix it with liquid ptex or is it a type of epoxy?
What product do you use for ptex
Montana P-tex
Can I send y’all a snowboard to repair?
You can drop off the board at one of our store locations.
I need your repair skills on a new board that I got some damage just like this board . But I’m in wa state :(
Im confused about the 3 screws you left very elevated. Were those removed prior to drying
The screws get driven below the base of the board. Then are sealed with epoxy to hold the new edge in place.
@@Buckmans what type of epoxy is that? Thanks!
i mean... cool video... but why the super blurry and shaky cam the whole time? i cant see shit
