Sobbles Evolution still confuses me I like it it’s just the colors it goes from yellow to green and then back to yellow did it is and you showing any green in its final form
A lot of the starters do this. Chameleon is red while charmander and charizard are orange. Wartortle is a much darker blue than squirtleand blastoise
Sobbles based off of chamleons and when chameleons grow in real life they often change to colors that suit them

Legit they just played a bit with the contrast and saturation with most of them 😔such a waste of potencial creativity...shame on you gamefreak ! I mean, you could get away with that in 2d where it still looks atleast somewhat interesting, but in 3d you realize how bland so many shinnies are. I would be furious if one of my first shinnies where shedinja.

Now they have the possibility to fix that :/ ( and I believe they already have changed shinnies in the past),and it's not like it's difficult to even do that,so there is no excuse in getting artists who have great knowledge in combining very attractive colors for some awesome shinnies! There is even a youtube vid where fans fix shinnies in amazing ways, and they did that in their free time.

Iirc, the color schemes of shinies usually aren't designed by anyone. There is apparently an algorithm used based on the colors of the normal form to determine the shiny's appearance. That's why we see repeats such as the green ones, the slightly different shades, super pinks, clown colors, etc.

I couldn't care less about the lore, they could've created a new pokemon around that lore or given it to the other cat pokemon that already exist that don't have a form like delcatty, glameow or purrloin. It's the same thing with Charizard, the kanto bias is annoying, most of the Pokemon that got new galarian and gmax forms are from kanto, again.

Honestly though, there’s a reason my dad grew up learning the saying “the squeaky wheel gets the grease.” If you’re the only thing complaining, you’re the only thing getting attention. So I guess let’s all just declare metaphorical war on Gen-1ers (or maybe something less drastic) to get the Pokémon Company to notice us instead
