Now THAT was a light comparison! Great video, absolutely love the review going back and testing all 3 lights and giving a more in depth look at everything in entirety. I think you've convinced me to get the Chihiro vivid2 for my 90P myself, they should sponsor you my man!
Best bro. To the point. Comprehensive, all in one. Best informative one. Good work bro. This is the best video i found till date on utube describing Lights. Keep it up. Some guys make video and only show video of the lights and shows its only physical appearance. I mean R u kidding.😁. Pls teach them . Hahah.
@@TankTastic yeah but that's everything. Let me guess its probably that it needs to be suspended with a hanging kit,has a cooling fan and maybe doesn't have a wide spread unlike the light bars, that's what i can think of as down sides. idk id like one still haha
@@TankTastic I'm going to be reviving my youtube channel, I haven't posted in a couple years. I'm setting up a 10 gallon high tech tank and I was thinking about using the Chihiros RGB A Plus, what do you think?
You should def keep going, don’t waste all those subs. What kind of plants are you planning? That makes the difference between gett the A plus or a better light.
One thing to consider when thinking about controlability: as much as I am fine with an app controlled light for a long standing brand like Fluval, for the others... I am not so sure: if the company goes down, the app will be pulled off the stores by Apple and Google, then you have an expensive useless piece of metal. Ideally companies should provide a standard 0-10V connector to dim them, this way they can be controlled by aquarium controllers, or a DIY controller.
I def appreciate a physical controller, ONF was smart to do that. But these apps that they release are never updated anyways, so it should work for the life of the light. Also, since they never update it. The app is pretty spotty for Chihiros.
Was eagerly waiting for this review. It’s nicely done and comprehensive comparison (some ppl only show unboxing and brightness and that’s it). It was great to see the comparison of price, lumens, performance. It’s so surprising that twinstar is stuck with one color abs no dimmer and weird that ONF is not showing good colors. Chihiros outcompetes both and is cheapest as well. My Rotala Hra and Ludwigia gradulosa are looking incredible under wrgb 2. Thanks! Oh and I loved the music and enjoyed the video!
Thanks for the vid brotha. Hella information. I have a 60cm wrgb2 but only my first week with it over a 60p. How long before you cranked your settings up to 100/75/75? I have mine at 50/40/45 right now.
I use a wrgb2 45cm over my 45cm tank and its a lot of light. Depending on what your are growing, I would break it down to 1-2 watts per gallon (rough calculation). 1 (or lower) for lower light plants), and 2 or more for more demanding plants. I’m trying to grow platinum glosso, so I have it at about 75% - 85% power.
G’day love this video great to see the comparisons between the lights. Just so happens I ordered a Chihiros WRGB 2 90cm last week after doing a lot of homework and this vid makes me feel solid in my final decision . Should get the light next Tuesday hopefully. Can’t wait! The light cost me $530 Aussie dollars btw. Bit disappointed it won’t come in the nice packaging tho.
Les Ramsay how much is that in USD? Yea the brown cardboard is pretty sad, I also own a Chihiros A901+ and that also came in brown box. 😭🤦🏻♂️ common Chihiros, how do you expect people to share good pics of the thing.
Thanks for the comprehensive review. Where did you get the brackets to hang your lights? They look terrific. Just what I am looking for, but cannot find. Thanks!
What intensity are you running you're chihiros wrgb2? I been running it 1 month now and I'm starting to get green hair algea on my red plants? I was running the buce preset for 8 hours. Now I've cut down to 6 hours and lowered intensity to 60on all 3.
Awesome comparison video. I've been looking to get a light and was ready to get a fluval 3.0 until I saw this and your fluval video. In terms of price to quality/performance, would you recommend going for a chihiro wrgb2 over the fluval 3.0? I'm also running a rimless tank and wanted to have a rear mounting option, and couldn't find any solutions to that for the fluval. What mounting arms are you hanging those lights off of?
Raymond Wong WRGB2 hands down, get it on Alibaba, it’s so cheap there, it makes the Fluval 3.0 obsolete. The hanger is generic I got off Alibaba as well. Hope that helps!
@@TankTastic just curious about how much did you get one for on alibaba. I've never bought anything there and everything seems sketchy. Not trying to get scammed
really thorough review man. appreciate the hard work. i think overall the twinstar would be my choice due to performance, cost and clean look. scape is looking good. love that driftwood. J
@@TankTastic Hey dude, appreciate the reviews, awesome. How are you finding the vivid2? Sounds like it is the exact same LEDs as the WRGB2? Perhaps just a better housing or something? I note it is quite a lot more expensive..
It’s like 40 watts more powerful. It is hella bright, and for me I def like it. Usually I like to limit nitrogen to get my plants red, but the vivid is like doing it without me having to limit the nitrogen. If that makes sense.
Chihiros. I’m upgrading to a new 16 gallon water box tank from a Petco 10 gallon and I currently have a small chihiros already for my 6 gallon. I was leaning twinstar but I’m looking to have everything automated with an app. Once I have a CO2 splitter running front my main tank, I won’t have to worry about setting the 6 gallon mini regulator co2 in the morning. Then it’s just ferts and water changes :) This was really comprehensive. I really appreciate the time put into this.
Nice, Waterbox is a good brand.if you are looking into a Twinstar, they have the Light III available now on Amazon. More power, still no app though lol
I got a WRGB2, after almost exclusively buying twinstar s's and One Flat Nanos for my aquariums. I now hate my Twinstar and One Flat nano lights, and literally consider them a waste of money. Its no contest. The only thing going for the twinstar is how sleek its acrylic legs look, but the light spectrum is horrible. The things going for the ONF are how bright they are and how sleek they look, but they don't compare even close to the spectrum and usability of a chihiros c2 rgb
So you said the Twinstar colored the floaters up in about a week and the wrgb2 slowly is starting to color them up...if price isn’t an issue would you go with Twinstar or wrgb2? Thanks man!
Gino if price is not an issue I would go try a ADA Solar RGB or a Radion. But in this case, I go with the WRGB2. I am running both right now and I’m happier with the WRGB2. But if you want a good looking light (physical construction), I would go with the Twinstar...much sexier. Lol
Hey, thanks a lot. Liked your video. Yes, I now want to buy a Chihiros WEGB 2. But I have only one question; What brand or type are those hanging stands? I want to hang my light just like you did! Chihiros only sells them in black but I want to order the silver version.
The aromatica and hra look amazing, got a rotala macandra that's not as pink as it should be, you have made my mind up, was going to get a Twinstar 600SA but definitely going for the Chihiros, I already have an A series 2 and that quite good, my other lights are superfish scapers at 269 PAR, they grow easy and mediums really well but I'm moving into advanced plants. Love the foreground Helferi you have too, looks amazing.
Thank you man! Yea out of these lights the Chihiros is the best option. I have a new video tomorrow that puts another light against the chihiros and I think chihiros might have some competition. Stay tuned!
Hello. I don't speak or understand English. But your videos are very valuable and interesting to me. I'm on the fence about buying ONF FlatOne+, TwinStar 600s and Chihiros WRGB II. I'm sure the video explains it in detail, but unfortunately I don't understand it, so if you don't mind, can you tell me what your best lighting is and why? Thank you for your help.
Do you want a good looking light and have a great utility and companion app? Then use ONF. If you want something that grows red plants or demanding plants better, and look good then Twinstar. If you really just want a light that grows any plant and super cheap, and looks ok, then go for the WRGB2.
@@TankTastic The most important element of light for me is that plants and fishes look beautiful and vivid in color, so Twinstar seems to fit the bill. That was very helpful. Thank you very much for this reference.
Great info and video! I wonder how the onf flat one with the higher Kelvin range would compare? I would think it has higher par than the 3000-6000 version
I would like to think so, but I know someone who has the old version and they have issues growing high demanding plants as well. I wonder if anyone else has good experience with ONF and high demanding plants!
Hey there i have an wrgb2 over my aquarium like you had. What were your setting in this video (blue, red, green temperaturetc.). I personally use full bluue and green and 10%less red. Would just interest me and btw your tank looks awesome especially the hygrophila pinnatifida (if it is one).
Thank you! My settings is red, green, blue (100, 75, 75). The intensity and temp should auto adjust once you put that in. Hows your settings working for you?
Great comparison review, very detailed, very useful. which light runs the coolest? Also, are you still using the ONF at all perhaps set lower to the water surface?
Hi, for me something it's not clear. How come the par value from bottom of aquarium it's higher than the par value from top of aquarium?!?!? Wen the par meter it's closer of light source should have more par, so in top of aquarium must have more par than bottom,.... no?
Do you recommended chihiros wrgb2 60 sm 67W 4500 lm for 80 sm aquarium whether it is enough for meadow and red plants and whether there will be dark areas at the edges
I love how this vid talked about how well the lights grow color. I saw your fluval review- what’s your opinion on fluval ability to grow vs these lights? Where would it fit in?
James Zapf I’ve only used the Fluval 3.0 for a short while growing easy plants and it does it well. In the case of colored plants, I’ve seen other hobbyist tanks using the Fluval 3.0 and I would not put it within this category. To me (don’t kill me), I feel like the Fluval is a budget light with all the nice bells and whistles. Fluval is about $200, at that price range, you might as well get a better light. My opinion of course. 😊😊😊 just FYI, aquarockscolorado sells the WRGB2 for not much more than the Fluval.
Looking to replace my fluval 3.0. I do really like the fluval and the control it gives me but want better color rendering of my plants. I am on the cusp of getting the wrgb ii for my 60p. I did a quick search on chihiros’ facebook page and saw a ton of complaints about the app malfunctioning, specifically over the last couple of weeks, and specific issues with the green leds going dark if powered over 70% for too long. Have you heard of this problem, or have you experienced any oddities with the app of how the leds themselves function? Appreciate your video for sure. For me it’s between the wrgb and the twinstar 600sa version III. If Twinstar had an app I’d jump on that because I appreciate the build and would love to be able to adjust the settings for the price. Thanks.
The app sucks, but it works though. Also you only really need to set the app once. Or after a power outage because it resets when the light loses power. Never had issue with the green. Tbh the Twinstar looks disappointing to me, here is why. This is just my opinion. 1. They added more power but still a weak light 2. Looks like they took out some white led and added more red 3. Still no app (common its almost 2021) 4. Whats up with the design, It now looks like the wegb2? I would still go with the wrgb2 since its cheaper.
Thank you! Just the comparison I was needing. Do you think the chihiros would run so hot that it could damage an acrylic tank? I think the pricing has changed since you made this and it looks like the twinstar might now be less expensive than the chihiros.
Depends where you are I guess, over here the Twinstar is still more. But no, nothing really runs that hot it will damage acrylic because nothing hot is in direct contact with anything
Hello. Very helpfull comparison. Thanx for it. What is your recomandation for 80x50x40cm(height), please. I know it is strange size, but fits to our living room. My favourite one Is chichiros wrgb2. I am affraid od fan noise on vivid2. What do you suggest? Thank you for aby hint beforehand.
@@TankTastic Thank you for your opinion And sorry for typos( side/size, od/od etc.) My keyboard makes me crazy sometimes😁 Will you reccomend any other light for my tank? I am not happy with overlaps ...but maybe I have to use to it 🙄
Great video! You sold me with WRGB. I have tank 60H (60cmx45cmx45cm). Do you think WRGB 60 will be enough for my tank? I also find shades 60 cm. Thinking to order those. Will wait for your opinion! One more question: is chihiros wrgb vivid 2 the same as what you show here or it is different? And is it also good? Because I see it in white color, which seems more esthetic for me.
Thank you! Yea the wrgb2 60cm is what you should get. The light shade is needed if the light is blinding you when you stare at it from a sitting position. The Vivid is the top line light from Chihiros, I have those too and will be uploading my review of that light compared to the wrgb2 after the holidays.
hello sir . its and amazing review.. nice video .. sir can u help me a bit pls or a quick suggestion, it will be a big help as sir there are no videos about it. not a clear message on usage of commander 4 controller. i am recently bought chihiros wrgb 90 and after a month i also bought commander 4 ( before buying light on factory setting ) but after getting commander i am confused on what is the best w r g b color setting for my light. its a new 1 month old tank. height is 16 inch and i kept w r gb all at 70% last option also at 70 then lumens i chose 8500 k .. please advice just a quick of what numbers should i keep..(hi tech tank pressurise co2 and dosing liq ferts, ada soil wid powersand L
The new wrgb2 has bluetooth but I guess it is the same with the older model that uses the commander. My settings are 100 red, 75 blue, 75 green. That will auto adjust your intensity and color temp (this references the wrgb2). Hope that helps.
@@TankTastic thank you so much sir . I’ll check this setting and see if intensity increases while setting other options . But sir what about Kelvin . Should I keep at 7500 or 8500k or increase more upto 12000k
I’m using a twinstar light II on a 60p in a dutch style tank with high demanding plants and i’m going well (better than the previous chihiros wrgb v1), probably only front plants don’t grow well. Now i’m switching to a 90p. Which one I buy? Twinstar again or wrgb 2?
I use a Twinstar 900S Light II on my 90P, plants doing great and I have some demanding plants in this tank: ruclips.net/video/nuNMnatbG3I/видео.html Note, this 90P is 38 gallons though. If you have a traditional 90P, I would recommend a WRGB2.
Make sure your app is updated, also make sure you are standing close to the light. As well, restarting the app helps sometimes. The app connectivity is poor for this device, good news is you dont need it as often. Hope that helps!
I recently just bought a WRGB2 for my 45cm tank too. My reasoning is, the 45cm light can fit on a 60cm tank if I do decide to upgrade. Also the 45cm light can work over smaller tanks if I hang it as a pendent. I always like to future proof anything I buy, get the most uses out of them.
@@TankTastic I ended up doing my own test. Can't comment on plant growth but the wrgb definitely makes the tank look nicer - I think the onf diffuses the light more.
You can save money with the Chihiros but there’s many reports of issues with them. The Twinstar s series will grow just about anything and give you reliability
@@TankTastic Hi Mainly issues with the application crashing and the time setting running out of sync. I'm still tempted to buy one though, through a good supplier so you have the peace of mind and customer support. I do feel that the market in general for aquarium led lights is way overpriced.
It measures 72″ x 18″ x 21″ correct? I think two 90cm side by side works. My tank is about 36” x 17.7” x 17.7” Tall, so yours about 3.3 taller and twice as long (so the two side by side works). Hope that is not too confusing!
TankTastic yeah that sounds about right on it. I want to give it a try i been watching vids on chihiros and your vid had alot of info thats got me convinced. Just hard with a bigger tank to dictate how many i need. I hope two is enough i currently got a fluval 3.0 48’ and two 36’ finnex but just aint doing the job for me to get the red popping.
Yea man, the WRGB2 will def do the job. Obviously theres more expensive options out there but for now I’m sticking with WRGB as its great for reds and great for my pockets. Lol
@@KalemsFishtanks thank you! And sorry the tank in the video is 17.7” tall. I was thinking of my other 90p that is shorter and currently running the Twinstar 900S on. Also,I’m about to review the Chihiros Vivid 2 next week. 😁👍
This is great i am starting my first high tech aquascape and the last thing I needed was light advice. And i had difficulties finding back to back comparisons, big thanks. Im in for a chihiros, im just trying to see if i can get any info on the upcoming launch of the twinstar III 90 sa.
Great channel, great videos 🙂 They look pretty good, but I was wondering in case of electric power cut, is it necessary to pair the app and the lamp again to restore the settings (Onf+ and Chihros, I mean). Because, for example I have ONF flat one (the old version), which has this issue and I can say it's a very very uncomfortable.
V. B. Thank you! I referenced this in my other video comparison of the ONF with the Twinstar. Long story short, ONF is suppose to hold your settings for at least 24 hours after initial power outage. Chihiros you would have to reset the power. Again, this is another nice to have from ONF.
@@TankTastic Thanks! Obviously I have missed this, I will check the video again. So, for Chihiros you have to restore the settings manually after power outage, correct?
Yes, you have to restore the settings manually after power failure for Chihiros. Minor inconvenience but death sentence for plants if you are on vacation. Yikes! Actually let me try to unplug my chihiros and plug it back in and see if it even turns on. Brb
V. B. Alright, confirming that when the power goes off and then turns back on. The Chihiros will need to be turned on via the app. The app settings does not change (which helps but not really during power outage). Lol
@@TankTastic I meant if you had a 120cm left to right tank but it was 60cm front to back, do you think it would light up the full tank or would you need 2 rgb2s (one in the back and one in the front)?
@@Imaginary_ham oh, well it depends on what the scape looks like. If most of your plants only cover 45cm of the 60cm then I think you are ok. But if you need full blast for the whole 60cm, then I think you need two. Then again, it also depends on what plants you have. If you have easy growing plants, one will take care of it. But if it is high demanding plants all around, then I personally would get two.
love your videos,my tank, 6gallon,height 10inch, the light is chihiros wrgb30 II, max, its placed 2inch above the tank, but does it grow hemianthus callitroides, i just replanted my cuba, the previous all died out, everywhere is saying it needs high light, but no where it states recommended lumens
Im looking for a light for my tank 120x50x45h with demanding plants (pantanal, wallichii, macrandra). Im thinking n°2 twinstar S2 120 cm (i think one isn't enough for a 50cm deep tank) or n°2 Chihiros vivid2. What do you think? Which one would you choose between the two? Or do you have any other solution? Thank you
Just my opinion. If I had a 120cm tank, I would use two Vivid 2 side by side. But for the plants you have, you can also do two Twinstar 120s too if you want. But obviously the Chihiros would be a cheaper solution.
Hey man , I’ve got the wrgb 2 .... I’m confused on what settings I should use to grow red plants ?? All colours the same at 70% or use the 6500k rating instead??? Too many options ,,, help
Scott Howard 😂😂😂 yea tons of options, I actually set everything to the max. It’s go hard or go home for me lol. My understanding (learning from Filipe Oliviera, not verbatim) is that, stronger the light and longer the plants sit under that light, the redder it gets. Think of it as getting sun burned when you’re on a beach. With that out of the way, if you don’t like the colors all at 100%, I’ve tried using red 100%, green 60-75% ish, and blue at 75-80% so it’s heavy on the red for your aesthetic pleasures. For me either one of these settings got my Red roots coloring up, rotalas coloring up, ar mini looking good, pantanal with a strong red pop. Give it a try, let me know how it turns out for you.
Scott Howard I have no issues, but again this tank I been running tests on, has been up for a few months now. The only algae I get is green dusk algae on the glass, which I leave alone sometimes so the oto cats has food. Lolll
I bought chichirios Lamp mostly because of this review. Previously having kessil. 1. My plants are crazy pearling! 2. They look MUCH BETTER... Colours... Fish looks like they are here - a crazy 3d effect. . 3. I CAN live without the shimmering effect of kessil:). But the app is terrible. It Is garbage. And I hade to wait for the lamp shipping from China. :(.
can i grow high light red plants or carpet plant with Chihiros WRGB 2 ? my tanks is 54 gallon aqueon corner aquarium with 20 inch deep, 30 inch wide im using finnex 24+planted 30 inch but i wanna get something better
We just had a major power outage after our ice storm here in the PNW… after 9 hours with no power all I had to do was power the Chihiros back on with the app, and had my settings all restored just like my Fluval Planted 3.0
Tbh, if money is no object. I would actually get the 900s v3. BUT, if you like playing with colors than Twin is not for you. It’s a pretty much set it and forget it light. Also the wrgb2 slim is about to be out. Looking forward to test that bad boy.
@@TankTastic awesome thanks for your feedback... I run twinstars but on this tank I think I'm swaying towards chihiros. Although money isn't a problem I don't get why twinstar are £350 here in the UK, BUT WRGB90 with acrylic stands is still £100 cheaper with more functional ability 😂😂 yeah the slim looks cool! Look forward to your next videos dude. Thanks for getting back at me 😎😎
Tbh, if you have a Twinstar and it works. Stick with it. No point wasting more money. But, that new WRGB2 slim is coming out. I’ll have a review on that once I get my hands on it lol

Oh alibaba wont scam you. But it should be $20-40 below retail
really thorough review man. appreciate the hard work. i think overall the twinstar would be my choice due to performance, cost and clean look. scape is looking good. love that driftwood. J
Thank you! I just rescaped this tank and testing out the vivid 2. But I agree the Twinstar is a good looking light.
If that makes sense.
what do you recommend between Twinstar EA series IV and Chihiros WRGB II slim ?
Super Helpful! Definitely helped me make up my mind. =)
Nice! Which one did you go with? Lol
Subscribed. Thank you!
No…thank YOU!
Nice one man. Thanks for the info
Thank you!
Great video but I would really like to know what brand those extendable light bars are in the sleek Aluminum. Thanks
I just did a new review on the Light III, it’s no longer pink in your tank. Lol and yea, for me the WRGB2 is still great.
Great review 👍
Thank you bro!
Thankyou, very concise. Great job👍🏿
Thank you Gary!
But I have only one question;
What brand or type are those hanging stands? I want to hang my light just like you did! Chihiros only sells them in black but I want to order the silver version.
I got them on alibaba, look for aquarium led hanging kits or brackets. They have a few to choose from.
@@TankTastic I did but can't find yours. Witch brand is it? Thanks!
No brand lol I literally kept searching

Great video, bought the wrgb2 2 months ago, still not used it lol.. cant wait tho, cant beat it for the price
z3ro7o thank you! Dude, what are you waiting for? Crack that bad boy open and let it shine! 😂👍
Great Video, was searching for a comparison like this. Can I have the link for the hanging accessory and mounting stand for Chihiros Light?
Thank you! Check out Aquarockscolorado or Fzone Aqua
Great vid makes me want to buy my chihiros wrgb2 even sooner. Where did you order from. You said you can get it for $250 where at?
Aqua Mayne definitely get you one, Alibaba! Also I’ve seen them for that price on Ebay as well (couple of weeks ago).
Where do you even order chihiros from? Ive tried searching with no real suppliers of all the sizes
Im in NyC so aquarockscolorado or fzoneaqua got them
Great comparison review, very detailed, very useful.
which light runs the coolest?
Also, are you still using the ONF at all perhaps set lower to the water surface?
Not using the ONF anymore. But ONF and the Light II will be the coolest.
Thnx!!!! You helped me very much! :)
You’re welcome!
What are you using to hang the lights above the tank? What brand is that?
Excellent
Wow even gave myself a thumbs up.
Didn't know I could do that.
Excellent
It's like the dj lights we use at weddings! I get it!!! 💡💥
Ahaha, similar 😂
Hi, for me something it's not clear. How come the par value from bottom of aquarium it's higher than the par value from top of aquarium?!?!? Wen the par meter it's closer of light source should have more par, so in top of aquarium must have more par than bottom,.... no?
Do you recommended chihiros wrgb2 60 sm 67W 4500 lm for 80 sm aquarium
whether it is enough for meadow and red plants and whether there will be dark areas at the edges
You’ll be ok with that.
TankTastic awesome, that totally makes my decision! Thanks!!
@@TankTastic thanks man. Appreciate the response. Super helpful. W
No prob, anytime!
Thank you! I recco the WRGB2 90 and use it as a pendant hung over the tank.
So 60 is to short? 90 will overlap tank by 5cm on each size . :( What a strange size tank I have bought 😁
Better you have full coverage, than short 10cm on both sides. 👍😁
@@TankTastic Thank you for your opinion And sorry for typos( side/size, od/od etc.) My keyboard makes me crazy sometimes😁 Will you reccomend any other light for my tank? I am not happy with overlaps ...but maybe I have to use to it 🙄
Try maybe a light like a Kessil or a AI Prime. Or maybe SBReef. Then you would need to get two of those types of lights.
@@TankTastic Thank you! I should probably wait...so hard to wait. Just tell me what to buy, please:)

how high up you put your wrgb2 ahead of your tank?
where can i get the stand for the pendant light? or any specific keyword to search for?
All depends on how high you want it, and the plants you grow. Just search aquarium led light stand

Yup, here’s a comparison for that ruclips.net/video/2m3oZ6p145Q/видео.html
Just a quick question, do i need the commander for the wrgb2? Because mine is not connecting to the app.
No, you control it via the app.

Ok but the BT wont cannect and i dont know why🙃
Make sure your app is updated, also make sure you are standing close to the light. As well, restarting the app helps sometimes. The app connectivity is poor for this device, good news is you dont need it as often. Hope that helps!
My tank is 29.5" (75cm) wide, will the Chihiros WRGB 2 fit? Where did you get your light stands for hanging the light?
Alibaba, I searched aquarium hanging lights. But beware, these type of hangers will leave marks on your glass.

Yea, they come with extendable legs
I’m looking for a new light and these were on my top 5 but I think I’m gonna go with the version 2 of the twinstar sp
Twinstar is def a good light, more aesthetically pleasing if you can overlook the lack of features. I still use mine. 😁

hi I'm planning to build a 45x30x30 tank for aquascape. Planning to buy chihiros wrgb 2. Do you recommend 30cm or 45cm? low to mid tech plant.

Hey man i got a 125 gallon i been struggling to get reds to thrive. You think 2 90cm of chihiros would get the job done?
Lol

They look pretty good, but I was wondering in case of electric power cut, is it necessary to pair the app and the lamp again to restore the settings (Onf+ and Chihros, I mean).
Sorry it’s this other video That I think I mentioned it: ruclips.net/video/-cNsl4ZYgwE/видео.html
Lol
do you think the wrgb2 has enough throw front to back for a 60cm tank? Or would you need 2?
The wrgb2 60cm would cover it nicely
@@TankTastic I meant if you had a 120cm left to right tank but it was 60cm front to back, do you think it would light up the full tank or would you need 2 rgb2s (one in the back and one in the front)?
@@Imaginary_ham oh, well it depends on what the scape looks like. If most of your plants only cover 45cm of the 60cm then I think you are ok. But if you need full blast for the whole 60cm, then I think you need two. Then again, it also depends on what plants you have. If you have easy growing plants, one will take care of it. But if it is high demanding plants all around, then I personally would get two.

TankTastic thanks man !!!! I’ll give it a go !!! I’m worried about algae at them settings .... I’ll keep you updated 👌🏻👌🏻

I don’t get too much of that, but for all chihiros the light resets. ONF sticks with the same settings for 24 hours after the initial outage.

For me in my setup the Twinstar colored it up the quickest. WRGB2 is damn good too.
@@TankTastic Thanks for clarifying. Was thinking about switching from my Twinstar 2 1200S to the WRGB2. Not anymore!
Tbh, if you have a Twinstar and it works. Stick with it. No point wasting more money. But, that new WRGB2 slim is coming out. I’ll have a review on that once I get my hands on it lol
Did you also test the chihiros a series?
Yes, check out the LED lights playlist. I did a couple of videos on those.
@@TankTastic can't find the a series with only white leds in your playlist. Not tested probably?
Here is the original video: ruclips.net/video/2LYEZtiPbpw/видео.html
Here is one against the Twinstar: ruclips.net/video/yBJEmvDdc2U/видео.html
Thanks, but those are both the RGB a series. Not the "white led" a series. If you could choose between the WRGB II and the vivid II what do you recommend?
Hi there, torn between the wrgb 2 90cm or the wrgb vivid 2 which cost 40% more where I live. Tank is a 90p
I got a video coming out about this next week. Spoiler...Wrgb2
@@TankTastic That was quick man. Thanks! First video of 2021👍
@@abdurrahmaanraikar6893 I def try to help as many ppl as possible. People helped me to learn about this hobby, so I like to pay it forward! 😁
