In this tutorial you'll learn how to make the origami SOMA Cube Puzzle step by step.
The SOMA Cube is a puzzle invented by Piet Hein in 1933. It has seven different pieces made from cube units that must be assembled into a 3x3x3 cube (and a variety of other shapes).
My origami version of this puzzle is a modular model and each cube is made from a square sheet of paper and connected without glue nor tape.

What brand of origami paper do you use I'm interested in buying a large amount and wondering what kind I should buy?
in this video I'm using paper from a japanese brand called Toyo (トーヨー). You can find packs of this brand on origami-shop (link in the video description. Search the brand name won't work, but it is on the origami papers category)
In other videos I also use paper from Daiso and a Korean brand called Jong Ie Nara

you certainly misunderstood it, it's indeed a puzzle and it never crossed my mind to compare it to a lego...
You're limited to use only that 7 pieces to form the figures. You can't change them nor build different convenient pieces.
