From 2018-2023, Canada brought in more than 2 million people from India alone, about 5% of the entire population of the country. In any country of society, there is a limit to how welcoming it can be. When numbers become overwhelming, Canadian tolerance will erode significantly. India would never over a 5 year period import into its country 5% of its entire population (e.g. 55 million people), nor would any other sane country on earth. No society is going to stand for such overwhelming numbers coming into the country. India would never allow students going to its country to expect to get citizenship just because they went to India as students.

I have been to India. I wear a cross on my neck. While travelling on trains, buses, and in public places I was scared. I made sure I covered the cross with my T-shirt or shirt. It was a nightmare. When asked which religion I followed, I had to lie saying I am an atheist. The north is dystopian. Twisting alleys, feral dogs barking, people defecating. I will never visit again. India is far more dangerous to foreigners than Canada is to it's ethnics. At least in Canada, this gentle woman says go back to India. She does not ask her sons to attack. Yes, we want you, the students and non-citizens to go back because you do not assimilate. You do not make an attempt to fit in. I am Filipino American from NYC and work with many brilliant Indians (straight from India) at a consulting firm. They hired me, promoted me and gave me lots of opportunities. Some of my closest friends growing up were Indian Americans. I've never met one Indian that wasn't sweet, calm and lovely. I absolutely love Indians for the opportunities they gave me and their friendship. Just ignore these people. You guys are some of the smartest and hardworking people in the world and don't deserve any sort of criticism. Just be confident in your intelligence, hard work, personality and rationality and no one can do anything to you.

@@balafama2120 Keep in mind I only meet the ones that made it to America and am not interacting with the ones in the slums in India that you see. Use some logic before responding.
America is built differently but the ones coming in canada are terrible
