For anyone wondering about the spectators calling a draw, for Fight Night 1v1s we have a 30 minute soft time limit since every game in a round must end before the tournament can progress. We rarely hit the limit, but as you can see it does happen
Great cast, appreciate it. Had moments I'm not proud of but it's always enlightening to see your game from a 3rd perspective, and to apply things to future games. P.S. that bombing run mess up was indeed a misclick.
Was a good game and cast! Love seeing some different units like the salamander get to shine. 14:22 was an interesting moment, the front line thugs getting pulled back due to the probing in the north and only seeing reengagement by 17:50 when blue had swept round to the chokepoint by the cliffs to force the fighting closing to reds base. Not sure what all the spectator chat was about and the discussions about a draw, BAR doesn't have big turtle potential like SupCom did with it's effective shields and static defence but it was good to see it played out till the end. Red seemed frustrated but fought well! Good T3 push but difficult position to sustain on half the eco.
I've recently started watching BAR, and I appreciate the cinematic spectating of battles. I feel like the skill ceiling for an observer in this game will be really high.
I agree and I'll add in that I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. I'm sure once HUD's are developed and better spectating tools are written this jobs gonna get even more fun
I notice in this game there's so much more room for trash talk because you can lose your entire base and every unit and still win the game because of you team. All that spare APM seems to leak over into all chat
@@BrightWorksTV team games with trash talking - sounds childish. You, personally didn't do well, but you died slow enough that you got carried. Meh.. I'd rather see the person who died slow praise the team mate OR better yet still - I'm still all about that 1v1 life. Maybe if the team games had set teams and a storyline was built up, that could be great.
Because this game was part of the 'fight night' with some casual tourney rules. Everyone else is waiting for them to finish, people are encouraged to keep the games short, and the admins can call a draw to keep things moving overall.
This match was part of the BAR Fight Night tourney. So it would be tie for tournament victor. I believe there was a time limit built into the games to keep the tourney moving.
As for me I love the pro's 1v1's, but maybe I'm in minority xd FFA is a grat format, especially with pro's, we could learn a lot from that Anyways, I enjoy every kind of format that you do
The observation crowd ruined this game. Felt like LordVader was acting like a bitch trying to stall and get a draw, whereas all the observers agreed with it when it was clearly not a draw scenario. Like 10% chance of win for LordVader, that's not a win. Yet half the game is just abuse between observers threatening the victory from happening. Not a fan of seeing a great game ruined by obvious bullying tactics.
ive never played this game but blue seems so bad, he had all the map control, never fully built his expansions, with a huge resource advantage he could build double production and just mass produce overwhelm enemy. they are both bad imo.
Many hours of entertainment

WOAH!!! Thanks so much mate that's a wild donation! Cheers from the US and I'm glad you enjoy the show! Here's to many more hours of good times :D

Much appreciated info.
Smart. RTS tourney times have always been a thorn in organizers' sides
Soft limit at 30 mins, hard limit at 45 for final round, most metal produced wins.
That's why I think we need a territory control mode in 1v1. Whoever holds rhe most wins by end of 30 mins

It was a great showing, as an avid BAR player it’s nice seeing seasoned players gameplay and learning from it. Ggs!
Hey Bright, thanks for the cast! This Saturday's Fight Night is gonna be super fun :)

Can we take a second to admire the size of that duck? Damn thing is as long as a tree trunk is wide!!!
If Vedor had harnessed the power of Duck he prolly would have won tbh.
26:56 rip duck
I zoomed in to watch it, so sad
NOOOOO
Hey BrigWorks! You can Ctrl+click in the bottom right corner of the screen to completely disable future drawings as well ;]

starcraft bro here - keep it on the field boys / chat and trash talk is for before and after the match.

A 1 v 1? you competing with Requim :P
Why are spectators talking about tie in the middle of the game? It wasn't clear cut tie at all
