- This is a complete guide to Telos, from 0 to 500% enrage. It covers every single mechanic in detail, and explains the ability rotations necessary to succeed at this boss.

Telos was my least favorite boss while learning it, and six months later it's my favorite boss, and the boss I have the most KC in. Learning it can be horrible but once you have it down it's so incredibly rewarding.

This guide is a solid 10/10. Covers everything you need to know. Cool to see how much you progressed, as I remember you struggling and dreaming of a 500% enrage kill. The Rs3 community needs more people like you man. Thumbs up for this one.

Great guide, but I got overwhelmed at p5.
After watching this video twice, making my own power point presentation with notes on each phase and dying in practice mode for 1 hour... I finally got the hang of this boss at low enrage!
I would definitely recommend spending the first hour in practice mode with sharks + penance aura and literally running around phase 1 dodging the upper cut and using resonance on the hold still. Then go through the whole fight on repeat dying here and there, learning from your mistakes.

U're a beast u helped me so much getting my first telo's kils. I even switched to full manual and omg i love once i got the hang of it. What i did is bind my alt key to a mouse buttom. Much easier immo to get much more keybind without the need to move ur left hand to much.
I also did this, and did a Shift mouse Key set up as well so I have 3 action bars of QWERTASDFG1234. As someone who hasn't ever messed with Manual, it's going to take me a bit to get used to it. I tried Telos in practice mode last night with the goal of just learning the mechanics and taking it 1 phase at a time. I sucked....Lol only got a few tries but I'll be practicing it for a couple days till I feel comfortable.
Just used this guide to get my first three telos kills. I did a ton of (failed) attempts in practice mode, died a ton, and then beat Telos in practice mode, so I had a go at him normally, and beat him twice. This guide was invaluable.
Very, VERY clear guide, didnt overload with information and took time to explain everything but did not wander off. Youre good at teaching well done.
Im not good enough at Telos to notice any mistakes in this guide, but even the best pvmers out there should at least approve the effort you put into this video. A guide should look exactly like this. Very well made, informative, and entertaining, i cant say anything but a big thank you.
Thanks very much! Despite being slightly outdated, this helped me get 100% enrage kill for trim. I'm not the best at bossing, but for anyone getting confused like I was, just go in and give it a shot. I surprised myself with a kill on the very first try and then didn't die until ALL the way up to 100% enrage, which is where the challenge truly begins. Good luck everyone, and thank you RS Guy
I saw this vid a while ago in my recommended. Just came back to it today to give telos a shot now that ive started full manual and am getting more comfortable with the combat system. I was using melee since it was my best gear and 6 tries later I killed telos. Several more kills and no more deaths. Thank you so much for all the work you've put into this, I will be coming back to this video often.

Really nice guide ! I got my warden 2 days ago and I was struggling with either tecto or achto. It took me a long time to learn from guides and practicing for the p5 and how to deal with minions, but this one is seriously the best and most informative :D

Got my first telos kill above 100% enrage after giving countless gpees to Death for my gear, P5 was my trouble area as i was kinda running around too much and not dealing with telos, as you said in your rax guide, you dont need to run around like a chicken without a head, haha, thanks a million!

This is the same experience I'm having lol. This is all sooOoo much harder than it looks. Doesn't help that I've never really done my rotation on full manual though.
I am glad i found this video, i somehow made it to the last phase on my first attempt at telos after reading the wiki page but was so clueless what to do in the last phase. i might now go back and try telos soon

Hey Ryan, this is a great guide- well done. My only feedback is that I really like the colour chart of specs. I printed it out and sat it below my monitor so that I could glance down during phasing. I think everyone learns/absorbs information differently so for some, visual cues are great. Thanks again
For sure, different people learn differently. I wanted to make sure to mention the charts incase they are of interest, but they can cause a distraction for some as well.

An extra note would be that bleed after anima bomb also decrease your overload duration, so its important if u get it to check out the time on it. Also what i do for stunlock is usually throw an impact first since he might have freedom ready then asphyxiate or deep impact

It's nice to have a boss that is not immune to stuns unlike so many others that are immune for no reason
Quick note, in your example kill you said phasing into p3 after an uppercut will mean the next spec is a virus. Virus is only the first spec of p3 if you phase after the magic onslought. Phasing after tendril gives you the hold still first, and phasing after any other spec in p2 will mean an uppercut first in p3.

I actually never knew this in the 200 kills ive done, and ive always phased telos after its hold still due to me being a pleb and fucking up my mage onslaught

Hey just wanted to drop a comment. I had wanted to try Telos years ago, but never had the courage to do so after getting whooped by Rax in rs3 and zulrah in old school as a former pvmer before abilities were a thing I loved it was great. Now feel a little inadequate, however eventually did Rax and got better and now love and feel so comfortable with it. However felt bored yesterday with it for the 1st time and started not wanting to do it and thought why not Telos . Had watched your videos plenty of times on other things and you doing Telos then I saw it a Telos guide by the RS Guy saw it a couple of times tried it and died in P2 then again in P4 but got it on the 3rd attempt! Thank you so much for this guide still learning want to get to 500% enrage currently only at 62 but like you said get better with practice thank you so much!

I think everyone's first kill probably felt super scuffed. God my first try on 100% was scuffed as hell, but def cape carried.

Amazing guide, man. It took me months to build up the courage to even try to get a kill here because I’m a scrub when it comes to higher tier PvM. This has helped me understand the boss a lot more and I’ll for sure be trying for streaks soon. :)
Solak is a dps race , pretty simple to get down to but needs maxed gear and perks to be very effective.
Wow the guide remake is a lot more indepth than the original one. I'm happy my eyes doesn't hurt anymore when I see telos.

Sick guide man, only at 480% myself the reflect with switching to pray melee for p5 actually helped a ton. Also didn't know you could switch to the staff mid detonate, warden here I come I hope XD

Good guide, I approve. Not much to critique aside that there could maybe be a section for fonting on P5 just in case, because having a backup plan if things go wrong is always nice.

I almost added a section about fonting but I figured for a 0-500% guide, if it's taking you two full p5 rotations to get it down there's something else wrong. Will explain how fonting works in the 500-999 video.
The RS Guy Hey Ryan great guide as always, simplistic and well detailed at the same time. Just wanted to point out that at P1, you wrote down in the video that each spec is spaced out by 3 attacks (which are melee) >stated in the video< but they could also be mage attacks, thought you might’ve wanted to clear that up with your audience.

I bought tectonic to help me learn with the boss but seeing the equipment you are wearing, it seems like i should switch back to virtus and just try to get better at telos
Always mess up p5 every time i do something new but ill make it a habbit to do what i learned here and learn to no food telos

I really like the way telos is designed because at 0% it's super easy, you can just go the chad way and eat up every mechanic, but then it gets harder and harder and you need to get good to get actual drops.

Arcane spirit shield + potion of vitality + shield dome is also available when defensives are on cooldown and combined reduces damage by over 80%

would you make a revised guide off the back of this? Telos is still a major challenge and would be really cool to understand a bit more in depth and mechanics surrounding the profit from telos
One thing that should be said about the "Other Tips" section. The 6 second stun immunity at 250%+ is only on Phase 5. That's how you can still stunlock during phase 4 font 2 if you phased it wrong into the font.
