One tip I never hear people talk about is: if you bring the Ancient Elven Ritual Shard and your Enh. Excalibur anywhere, put them in your inventory so that the EE is 1 inventory space directly above AERS. This lines it up so you right click the Excal, and then double click "Activate" which will immediately use the AERS below it. Since they have the same cooldown length, you can use them tick perfect and not have to remember which cooldown is closer, not to mention the economy of movement. This is exceptionally helpful with AFK Slayer.
I actually have my target cycle set to tab because of other MMOs The "Eat food" ability will always eat the food in your inventory from the top left to the bottom right, so if you want certain types of food to be eaten first you can set that up too. If you click abilities (like I do with my ultimates during revolution) it's worth having all 4 protect/deflect prayers next to or below the bar to make switching way easier. I do use keybinds for them now but it still helps since the hotbar versions don't have a weird glitch that the prayer book ones have I also feel personally attacked by 13:00, that's exactly what I used during my first successful Nex, Kiln, Vorago, Kera and Zuk runs Honestly I'd suggest doing your first few kills with only food and prayer pots to learn more of the boss and get an idea of how you might annihilate it with everything else. I know it's not optimal but it helped me. I also like to set my bars or atleast my chat to transparent to see more around the edges of the screen, not necessary but it's nice for seeing some stuff that might complicate things without making my actual game screen smaller
I remapped my keyboard inputs for the RS client to prayer swap with the arrow keys and target cycle with caps lock (I've always used M3 to move the camera).
A note on camera shake: Players find it useful to turn that *off* during ROTS, but I found it's actually helpful to have it *on* in certain other content, for example IIRC for the wave before Zuk just before the slam attack comes down the screen shakes as a warning. Due to that it's one of the many things I use the *notepad* for so I can actually remember where that toggle is.
In terms of keybinds between styles, it's important to try to keep them as similar as you can. For example melee, ranged, and magic all have a "instant stun threshold" you should probably have on the same key. It may sound obvious, but for years I had things like my WoW keybind's interrupt or movement abilities on different keys per character and it was a mess on my muscle memory. Obviously necro is a bit different so it's harder to mesh 1 to 1 but you can still try to make it somewhat similar. Like I've got my main and secondary style-based actionbars, that have all the abilities *unique to those styles.* These are the two that are set to flip automatically when I equip a given weapon. These are as similar between styles as I can possibly make them. Then I have an action bar that has defensives on it, an action bar with prayers and other utilities like vuln bombs, and so forth. For the life of me I can't fit my prot prayers in without a gaming mouse so for the moment they're on my num pad, but it's better than not binding them at all! _It'll work as long as I don't have to ever prayer flick and move at the exact same time!_ (be better than me...)
Init, don't forget to use lesser bone shield as it use way less runes than greater bone shield and has the same effect. Also the area loot key is such a qol when doing slayer.
Also since building a good UI is brought up, I'll again plug Taki Maki's "Custom UI Guide for PvM/Skilling/AFK - Runescape 3" as my personal choice in who explained it best to me. It takes a bit of getting used to but using the smaller "game view" instead of having all of your interfaces overlapping the game view is just better than what I was doing in every way. I typically keep one pvm preset and one skilling preset that just has almost everything minimized so it can be easily split-screened while watching Init Yeah videos. :P
Necromancy is full on manual mode. Makes the game way easier. I had a dream last night that its going to develop into like stealing creation where you can summon buildings that help you like in a rts game. lol!
With the necromancy spell book I think it’s been made clear that spell book swapping is an unnecessary mechanic at this point. With them already having very distinct rune requirements there no need for the extra global cooldown being added to the equation and vuln bombs already make utility trade off argument redundant.
something people may not know, you can save a keybind slot/bar slot by clicking the yellow bar (the one that fills with adrenaline) and it will use your weapons special attack
TL;DR at the end. Do you have any tips regarding keybinds for people that don't have a mouse with keys on it? Like mentioned in the video, Runescape requires A LOT of keybinds, to the point where (to me) it feels like revolution is the only sensible option. I do of course have keybinds for a lot of relevant things (defensives, prayers, food, stuns, movement, etc.) but find that I have very little room to put my actual offensive abilities. To top it off with Necromancy being as strong as it currently, it does come with a major revo-exclusive downside: Adrenaline gets drained at a moment's notice when Conjure/Command Ghost or Finger of Death is being used which can oftentimes leave you vulnerable to certain boss attacks (I may or may not have died dozens of times to the Arch Glacors laser attack). As of the latest Runescape post we know we're gonna get some Necromancy changes which removes the Conjure/Command adrenaline which would partially fix this issue, however we also know that the other combat styles will get overhauled as well (though no date is known yet). If they will make the other combat styles somewhat similar to Necromancy they'll likely have similar issues, meaning using revolution is griefing yourself about as much as using styles other than Necromancy in the current version. If at all possible, could you make a video dedicated to keybinds without mouse detailing the reasoning/logic behind the choices made? (Or if you know of any, referring another video/guide would also help out a ton!). Thanks in advance! TL;DR: I'm terrible at keybinds (without mouse) and need help from someone who isn't terrible at keybinds.
@@jeffreyzilla the 12 key mmo mouse is a huge upgrade though, I use the Redragon M908 it was only like $40 and performs great no need to buy $100+ mice!

And then below that is asdf....etc. and then below that zxcv...etc. and then my prayers to prayer flick are below that bar as shift+zxcv...etc. I hope this isn't too confusing but it might help in allowing your brain to make the connection between the key pressed and what's on your screen without having to think too much about it. @@spartax8986 I do have the weapon switching as well, and this certainly seems like an option, however doesn't this mean that, since you're focussing on the fight, you'd have to navigate from keys '7' to 'shift+c' to '6' to 'shift+z' (for example soul split into deflect curse) in relatively small timeframe? It feels like a lot of hand movement is going on which could in turn lead to accidentally hitting the wrong key. How do you work around this or have you not had this happen?

just if ur starting out with keybinds...do a few at a time....do not try to do everything at onces. add bit by bit as you go. also dont be the overload + 27solid food guy XD get a preset.
Yup. For example necromancy makes it easy to revo everything and hotkey movement abilities, food, and potions. Then add defensives, then gear switches, full manual, and finally speed items like vuln bombs and dummies.
