So far I haven't had any issues with the Chinese carbs doing anything like that but you might have some that do that sometimes like u said . glad it's fixed bud
@@kylesjunkandprojects216 thanks. Was wondering since I have a very old Snapper Comet 2 SR75 25” Hi-Vac mower that needs a new carburetor. Wondering if you know one that will fit a Tecumseh 6hp engine?
@@dimeadozenfish I am not too familiar with Tecumseh engines unfortunately. I bought that carb for it on Amazon I believe, I just Googled the model and serial number and found it luckily. I got fed up with that engine and actually swapped it with a briggs 19hp opposed twin almost immediately after this video was made.
so you had to install it backwards to make it work? that's fucked up, man. Better get used to it. Briggs filed for bankruptcy last year and sold off all their assets. then 8 months ago they discontinued the Snapper rear engine rider. Maybe the chinese will buy it and start making it again hahahahahahaha
@@kylesjunkandprojects216 they weren't cheap before they got discontinued. in 2020 they were the same price as a high end model John Deere 100 series mower with a 24hp V-twin engine and 48 inch deck! that's why a lot of people stopped buying the Snapper. They could easily go to Home Depot and get a bigger more powerful mower for the same price!

I usually have great luck with Chinese carbs as well, I can’t even think of how many I’ve bought over the years, maybe 1/30 is bad lol.
good job friend
Where is the fuse located
your video is so good.
【from Hipa】Do you like to test accessories for your equipment?thanks
Good machine
What carburetor is that?
An old Tecumseh carb, I’m not too sure of the name/part number since that engine has long been junked.

Huge agree, I’d love to see the snapper RER get produced again, it is definitely my favorite cheap residential mower.
