I actually think the design for 3rd place is really interesting. You can probably make some real fun mechanics and interesting interactions with the time freeze/menu pause exploit. Not to mention the fact the narrator breaks the fourth wall. I find games that talk to you as the player one of the most intriguing aspects. The demeaning, smirky, overconfident style like Glados from portal or the narrator from The Stanley Parable. I'd love to see what that could become with more than just 72 hrs of development time.

I think I did pretty well for 4 hours. It was really fun to be able to participate in this game jam. It really made me think outside of the box. (Just because the jam is over doesn't mean it's too late to play Moth: The Game! The most entertaining interactive experience of the century!)

@Raul do not look tutorials that is what most begginers do wrong. Go and find a unity (or any other game engine) course so you learn and that is how you can make games on your own! Hope this helps! Good luck on your advanture!👍👍😊

That Ram game is a super interesting idea. What if the mechanic uses the stack, every time you use up the stack it starts overwriting from the bottom again meaning that old enemies are overwritten or half overwritten.
@@JonasTyroller Sure thing, i've been thinking about it, having the entities on screen using their "stack" for attack power or location, once it's overwritten it's reading garbage from some other entity. Super easy to implement in a language with pointers xD

"this challenge was a bad idea wasn't it" well technically yeah kinda, because it's impossible to solve. none of those "bugs" actually were bugs, because if you make them intentionally, no matter how weird, they can't be bugs by definition. well except for the insect themed games, obviously.
Enter The Glitch is probably (in my eyes) one of the most unique game, and game idea. I think going into the game files and changing the code to progress is so creative and innovative, it just blows my mind how people think of this stuff.

The best part of this game jam is that any accidental bugs look like features!
All these games look really cool and they look like they took a lot of work but... if you want to play a buggy game why not just play sonic 06?
