for anyone who read Wheel of time. This concept reminds me of when Perrin went back as a hero to the two rivers, and organized the townspeople, etc. some cool things in there, as perrin got better, more and more of the townspeople started to believe in him and many started calling him "Lord Perrin" even though hes a commoner. It got to the point where he very naturally was given his own banner and treated like the pseudo king of the area. super cool. There are also some good narrative punches in there you could incorporate into your story.

I would not recommend using tutorials to learn how to make games. Most the people who do tutorials on RUclips write horrible code. And most have never even actually released a game.
yeah fair point! I don't know if that would be my recommendation but that was definitely how I started learning game dev, I think the important part is that you can't get stuck watching tutorials, you gotta just start making and breaking stuff
@LandonDevelops Yeah that's what happened to me, I watched so many tutorials then when I tried to do something on my own realized I had not learned anything lol.

I haven't read Wheel of Time but I've been considering it, that does sound like a cool concept and narratively very similar to the idea I'm going for
