Having lived in New York for nearly a decade, Diana’s love affair with her home was certainly fate. Refinishing the apartment’s original 1960’s hardwood floors and dressing the walls in a sophisticated, feminine pink brought Diana’s vision of an English country cottage to life. Enjoy!

I love people who have niche interests and are able to speak so passionately about their collections. It’s what makes people so fascinating
So far I've seen a lot of negative comments from which I wish to distance myself. I believe Miss Pearl has done a very good job at "cozyfying" her space with things that make her heart sing. May she disregard the people that are here to drop nastiness on someone else's bliss.

I love the layout of Diana's home. The refinished floors are beautiful. The bedroom looks so very cozy with the glass doors. The retro glass and brass coffee table is beautiful. Also, I love when New Yorker's talk about their sidewalk finds.
I really enjoyed this tour…. The apartment wasn’t following any interior trends but the owner created a comfortable and interesting space by buying and collecting things she loves rather than that are fashionable or ‘stylish’

I love it. It's welcoming, bright and airy, and an amazing reference to different spots in history. To me it is fun to bring our special interests into our homes. And simply holding those unique cups in your hands and feeling their fragile importance in this very different world must be a real treat.
I love Diana's beautiful home, especially the lovely bedroom with the pretty wallpaper. The bathroom is fun too with the original pink tiles and her grandmother's paintings are my favorite. Not a fan of the royal family but i loved how much she loves them and made a place for them in her home.

Diana, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your lovely NYC apartment! I love how you took a small space and used every bit of it without it looking cluttered. I too am an anglophile, and I am obsessed with everything England from it's History, Monarchy, Cotswolds, Shopping, Style, and home decorations. My home is very much like a Cotswold Cottage and is decorated in that style as well. I am teaching 2 adult ed classes in the fall here in Scarborough Maine on England. I was a flight attendant for 15 years and have been to England a few times. You were so lucky to live there as an exchange student. Thank you! God save the King!
While I could not care less about the royal family, I LOVE this apartment and how Diana injected her love for them all throughout without it looking too kitschy.
The kitchen feels like a missed opportunity to create a tiny jewel box space.

I love your apartment, so cute. I am an Anglophile too. My younger daughter and her husband went over to England after college for a work study program and ended up living there for 16 years. I was fortunate to go many times and fell in love with England. We traveled all over the country. I have a collection of teapots, pretty dishes, English stone cottages, cute magnets, etc. one of my treasures is after Princess Diana died, they put out a pretty set of commemorative stamps with different pictures of her. My son-in-law thoughtfully went out and bought a set for my daughter and his mother and I. I know exactly how you feel about your treasures.
I always enjoy H.W. and lately we have had individual rooms decorated and very small apartments. Not sure about others, however, I am so ready for a nice beautiful home tour. I have missed those from lovely interior designers who show their love for decorating in their own homes. Thank you for all your hard work.

Lovely cosy bright apartment with her personality layered in, which is always better than a bland anonymous room.
I have a huge piece of artwork that is almost identical to the one above the blue couch. It is from the early 1990s. The pastel colors had to go. I repainted it and now everyone raves about it and wonders who the artist is. I just love how it turned out with black, a bit of green and just a dash of yellow.
I love this apartment and the owner as well.Being a person who likes collecting, I love how everything is displayed out in the open, where it can be enjoyed. I love girly and this is the epitome of girly.

Great location and interior design.🎉 She would fit great into the Royal family and would embrace all the traditions and protocoll. 😊 I would like to recommend to her spending a vacation in the Cotswolds and rent a cottage there. Nice place! Love the Brit collection. I’ve got vintage Queens Silver Jubilee mugs from 1977 when I lived in London as a teenager! There are lots of other great antique markets besides Portobello. That’s kinda cliche from the movie with Julia Roberts, Notting Hill, I think?

I thought that the kitchen hadn't been renovated yet, because it seemed so plain compared to the rest of the apartment, but then she showed the "before" photo and then I thought she did a good job at making it simple, bright, and clean
