I love his apartment. I can't believe he did the painting in the foyer. It's incredible! He must have a lot of patience. He seems like a really nice person and he's lucky to have such generous friends! Connor is lucky to have such a good home.

As someone who lives in New York City, I love to see how creative people can be with the small spaces we live in. The foyer is a wonderful introduction to the rest of the apartment, and I am so impressed that the owner did it himself. It's great how he incorporated so many pieces in the apartment that have a special meaning to him. He is a very likable and charming person but, of course, Connor sitting on the pillow in the bedroom steals the show.

I can't believe that he painted the foyer. It looks phenomenal and honestly looks like a very expensive wallpaper. Wow, wow, wow.
The apartment is gorgeous , he is such a decent human being - it shines through. Wonderful space.
This is an apartment that I would love to come home to each day. To me, personally, it is the perfect mix: not too minimalist, not too maximalist...not too eclectic, not too boring....not too high design, not too low design. Everything feels "just right". This apartment feels like a home (a very amazing home).

I love Christopher's apartment! It's so beautifully designed. The kitchen is spacious and gorgeous. I am happy to finally see someone with a beautiful kitchen that actually cooks. That painting in the foyer is outstanding and very classy too. His generous friends have given him so many beautiful pieces of furniture and of course the gorgeous clock too that I know he treasures. Let's talk about how cute Connor is and how well behaved he is. You can see how much they love each other. Christopher is as sweet as his Connor. You can tell he is a great guy that you would want as your friend. Homeworthy introduces us to the most wonderful and kind people. I am always excited when Homeworthy posts a new home to visit. It really is a special treat.

My sister lived at 330 E 43rd st (Tudor City) for 50 yrs so this apt reminds me of her. Of all the Homeworthy videos this one struck me as special. You and your apt are so charming. Even your eyes smile. I love the mural that you did yourself, your use of color and the layout. Your clients will love how you make things so professionally personal especially in such a big city that can be so impersonal. Congrats, you made a good decision to go residential.

Christopher Sale's is so very talented. His gorgeous mural in the foyer is fantastic. The foyer clock is beautiful and the space becomes a strong introduction to his home at the same time providing privacy to the rest of the apartment upon opening the front door. I love that he has given this space the importance he did. Conner's such a sweet doggie. So happy they found each other. I could listen to him forever.

I did not want this video to finish as Christopher is so knowledgeable and intelligent. This was an educational and historical lesson on Tudor City in New York, which I see in so many movies, but did not realise it had a name. Thank you Homeworthy for showing the outside of the building and the suburb, otherwise I would have to research it myself. My husband is an architect so I really appreciated Christopher's value to the three black framed drawings and other architectural references. Thank you Christopher for your explanation of all the details of why and how you chose to do things. I have a large home with open space and kitchen - but for some reason - when people come over they congregate around the kitchen in the working area, so I can definitely relate to wanting an out of bounds area while you are preparing. Love from sunny Sydney, Australia.

The apartment has a lot of warmth without feeling cluttered. Hard to define the style. It sort of has a mid-century vibe, but not a mid-century modern vibe. It's more like something that I grew up with - a collection of pieces acquired over years, some of which are more modern than others - but each perfect in its place and singing in harmony with the others. Very inviting. Love the mural, too.

Out of pretty much all of Homeworthy's fabulous homes I've seen, this is my favourite. Mainly because It's a very thoughtful space, from thinking of his friends to paying homage to his family and the building's history to, to the alignment towards the river. I just love how everything really has a story and a meaning. I'd love to see his previous studio flat, because I've just moved into a studio and there's only so much one can do in a tiny space, but I bet he made his look lovely and inviting!

What a beautiful apartment. I favor the eclectic look where nothing really matches yet each piece of furniture, books, and "knick knacks" compliment and support each other. I think Christopher did a magnificent job on the mural in the foyer. I'm inspired by that on one wall by my front door. I've been going back and forth for a long time thinking about a mural, plastering the wall, putting up horizontal wood paneling, or brick paneling. Now I'm leaning toward the mural again.

That's an impressive transformation, the apartment looks a lot larger now and it's very well appointed and relaxed. I love the mural in the foyer, he should do a tutorial on how he created it. I want a panoramic mural, but they are rather expensive as he noted. Thank you Home Worthy!

I agree with all these lovely positive comments. Thanks for telling us how and why pieces fit together. I especially love the dining room that completes the adjacent spaces. Love the worn patina on the table and the benches are just plain cool. I don't have many black pieces but the ones here seem to ground other areas. The many, many short vases on that table add a distinct look that I will be copying soon. Some places in New York lack a feeling of home, but this place knocks it out of the park. Lovely, oh, so lovely.

I love everything about the place. It's simple but elegant and unique. How fortunate to be able to create your own GOOD art, and he is obviously gifted in that arena. It's also nice to have pieces that mean something to you, like the wonderful pieces he got from friends. I love stuff like that. Nice color palette too.

I love how personal his space is using things he loves. It is very comfy yet hip at the same time. The artwork in the kitchen just makes the space. As far as the open shelving in the kitchen, it is great that it works so well for him. For me I have to have enclosed cupboards. It is definitely a personal choice for your lifestyle. When my husband and I were house shopping if the kitchen had only open shelving, we moved on to the next house. Love his little orange chair! It gives such a cool pop of color.

Love the home, especially the grisaille mural. He's definitely has an artist hands. He's humble enough to admit using sponge brush. Hey, sponge brush or not, he achieved the right effect.

Wonderful aesthetic and look at the most adorable Connor who was quite intrigued (or, perhaps, suspect) of the video person ... particularly videoing his comfy pillow space...the expression on his face is hilarious! One element I always use... which is inexpensive but has a huge impact throughout my home ... is a dimmer on every single light. I am very sensitive to light so everything has to be on dimmers --- and is a great low cost element with a lot of "wow" added in for very little money! Thanks for this home tour and wishing you many many many happy days there with Connor!

Ok I'm in ❤ with the apartment. The color pallet, beautiful use of space, antique pieces mixed with modern, light fixtures, plants, grand father clock, etc are all lovely ❤ The fact that he also created that gorgeous mural in his foyer is incredible.
