I'd suggest pulling out all the matte blacks from your spreadsheet that you roll from! When I did my pan those eyeshadows I actually liked having matte blacks in because I learned that I much preferred using them at a winged liner instead of a liquid liner and now I have pan in all the black shadows in my collection. And the one I use nearly every day is probably half done. But if you already know that it's not something that'll make the project fun set yourself up for success :D Very nice ~lewk~ you ended up with,
I love that you give yourself space to have fun and redrew from the matte black. It makes it fun and not a project that you don’t look forward to.
Another one who agrees with matte black, for me it's too harsh, prefer a darker gray. Thanks for the continuous inspiring content. Maybe I am just in a funk but I have grown tired of channels that are just new palette after new palette. Yes, it's fun to get a new palette here and there, I get it but when it's constant it just gets old for me. I want to use what I have, mix and match, be creative and most of all get dips and pans in my eyeshadows. That is much more satisfying to me than collecting a bunch of palettes that get used once or twice then collect dust. Good video and great eye looks here too!

Gorgeous palette! It looks like the Wild West palette. I love those two greens together! I don’t blame you for nixing the black. I couldn’t pan one let alone wear black in the spring! I think you will hit pan in volatile and the two greens. I love mercury. I use it in my eyebrows too.

I do a similar usage project every month and I also veto black shades. Those aren’t the shades that I’m concerned about getting enough use so I just re-roll.
Yes I'm thinking that'll be my new policy for black shades!! I just have no desire to pan those at this point in my panning journey 😅
@@SarahRoseBeauty I think it’s smart to let the project evolve to meet your interests and goals. Panning a black (or, for me, a shade I know I hate) serves neither.
I dont pan black or setting shades or shades that work in my brows, because i tend to use them regularly. I love panning everything else lol. Love bonus pans!!

Urban Decay shades take forever to pan!! Took me almost 50 uses to hit pan. Amazing progress! Love these updates.

if you want you can make a rule "not twice the same color" having two gold browns and two matte browns is quite hard :/
That is very true!! I may be instituting some new rules along these lines next month!
All the looks you created this past month were so pretty!! But I'm super excited about how you are going to utilize that turquoise color because this look was GORGEOUS! And I am all for you nixing the black. This project should be fun not a chore!
I don't think I've ever even USED a black eyeshadow once, so I don't blame you at all for passing on that one. Plus, the shade you drew is perfect, not only because it happened to be the next shade in the palette (that's crazy!) but it goes sooooo nicely with the mint green. Those are beautiful together.
Maybe if you pull a matte black you can reroll from the same pallet and use the matte black when you feel like it

I bought abh subculture palette (it somehow appeared on beautybay) and I love it! Feels like it was too early for it's time tho... Those greens would go so well with your new shade too!
And i would also skip all true black shadows. It would just too same same...

You were so smart to keep in the UD shade even though you already hit 20 uses last month so that you could roll it out this month in case you didn't roll others out! Love the new color story, I still think you'll hit pan on the CP shade next; it looks so beautiful on top of the elf shade so I also think you'll get a bit more usage out of it! Also I predict you'll hit pan in the Subculture shade sooner than the Norvina one!

How do you work on a palette without neglecting your others? I always feel like mine are collecting dust whenever I’m trying to focus in on panning one palette.
I would suggest having at least a few days a month where you use whatever you want from your collection/take a break from your project pan palette! You could also occasionally use a random number generator to select a non-panning palette from your collection to play with either on its own or to pair with your project pan shadows.
