When you walk a beach for hours the little breaks to dig a hole for a change can be a relaxing moment. There are sections of the beach that are fairly clean on targets especially in Miami after they re-sanded it. People don’t drop change as much as a few years ago with the digital payment systems in place, still there, but not usually enough to pay for parking even after 4-6 hours of swinging. Plus with as many people that search the beaches, you’ve got to be creative. The city rakes and moves the sand near the shore burying many good targets deeper than detectors reach in and if someone doesn’t frequent the areas to detect they have no clue how the shore lines have changed from currents. One cool thing is that they do large events at the beaches like the Polo or air shows and set up bleachers with thousands of people attending, so there are countless things to find if you are persistent, but it’s not going to be gold on gold on gold everyday. So if that is what you are only after, your swing arm is going to get strong as you’ll probably be looking for a while. It’s a rare day that I wouldn’t see 2-3 other random detectorists out having a search for fun. So, going to off the beaten trail spots can be fun sometimes just because people have their similar ideas of finding things. The ones that get creative and persistent typical find something good eventually. Gold ring after 5 hours in the surf with nothing, gold necklace with a handful of finds after hours and hours, silver bracelet going past where you think people sit, and on and on. People lose stuff in the most unassuming places near and far from any reasons.
@@soothingmusic6857 thanks for the view of your beach detecting. From Indiana I guess I am lucky. I don't have much coemption on our lakes and the two old guys over 80 that water hunt, that's it. I get 1-2 oz of gold each year and no less than 12 gold rings mostly women's rings. But when I go to Panama beach on vacation in April, I always get some gold. But not like Indiana we got old gold in the ground and in the water. Nobody hunts which is great for me. Killer finds this year was 22k heart chain. 16 grams. So, I understand now the dream gold is in my backyard. Not in Florida. I am 66 so I get to play almost anywhere. Thanks again for you view it tells me to quit dreaming about your beaches.
So glad you are back!

I appreciate that! Thanks for watching.
Too cold for me
It wasnt too bad.
I am watching but why not cherry pick for gold? Leave the coins, except a nickel.
We dig it all except for iron.
Come on man, don't shit yer fellow detectirist. Although yer boring to watch on yer own channel we don't comment sh*t.
No fun just cherry picking unless there is a ton of erosion...
